Its a small cell with a little window. You can see out the window a bit and thats it, until the door is unlocked. Best way to see it for yourself is to jump into a lobby and hope you get sent to jail, or jump on YouTube and watch some GGD content. Cartoonz and DeadSquirrel have videos featuring the jail.

The ? means there's a 50/50 chance on whether that role is included in the game. So if you hit enough 50% chances, you'll get normal geese no matter how many are on ?.

Normal goose is still a suspicious claim though. I don't know the exact context of what happened in your game, but I probably would have also gone for the lynch.

The setting for Neutrals is the MAXIMUM number of Neutral roles that CAN be in the game

My tip with pigeon is to hide in a vent until late game when you only need to infect a handful of people. That way you can also spy on the other players to see which ones are dangerous and you might want to approach with other people around.
From my experience, as long as you engage in meetings, people won't usually question why you are absent for most of the game.

Also in terms of ducks, you want deaths to happen to reduce the number of players, but you don't want so many ducks around that infecting results in your death. The fewer ducks, the less people dying, but the less likely someone reports a body and undoes your hard work and the safer you are to run around and infect.
If you survive long enough to the point that everyone is grouping for safety, then that's a free win for you.

According to the animated trailer (available on Gaggle's YouTube channel), the ducks are from an opposing warring nation, and they infiltrate their space mission. Not sure what they're doing in Ducktorian ages, but it's a long-standing feud.
