Pelicans do have a lot of house rule restrictions. I personally try not to call meetings or bodies UNLESS someone else external to me would sus me out for not doing those things. 
And a lot of the people who I play with wouldn't kick you if you did call meetings/bodies, but also they wouldn't be able to save you from the angry mob of people who will give you poop after the game ends, because people are allowed to feel like doing so is bad mannered.```

Anyway, as the pelican I tend to avoid ringing the bell since that calls a meeting and meetings are the perfect place for you to be eliminated. I usually only ring bell when either I'm getting chased and will soon be killed, or if I am so stuffed that my cooldown is dangerously high.

I very rarely initiate meetings as Pelican. 99% of the time I do so, it's because I swallered a Canadian. I do recall emergency-ing to get rid of someone playing screeching sound in my stomach, and encouraging everyone in the lobby to pre-emptively mute them so they aren't subjected to that in ghost chat.

Reporting bodies I'm a lot more liberal with. Especially when the playstyle I have decided on is passing myself as an innocent little noodle for the moment. The bell is a very valuable resource, especially since people who ring are often suspected when people know a pelican is around.

That's a good testimony to the role's balance. A Falcon, on the other hand, doesn't present the chance for their victims to survive. Once the Falcon does its thing, their victims are doneion rings for that game. I can't get upset when the Pelican initiates a meeting for whatever reason. 😄

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

As for ? roles, there is a 50/50 if the role is a possibility of it appearing in the game.

I love claiming that role immediately before I pick it. Basic Goose (and Gravy) can't be assassinated, so successfully claiming those roles on the screen while picking it in draft can ostensibly clear you for the entire game. Sadly, it's probable that you'll be killed by ducks who want to win the game for all intents and purposes.

Gravy and basic Goose are roles I claim and pick every time they show up as options. 😄

From what I have seen (and from what I posted myself), light gore like you described is perfectly fine. Especially since some rather nasty stuff can happen in game itself (looking at you, ancient sands beetle kill and nexus shuttle kill)

Your choice on whether or not you want to spoiler and give a tw, doesn't hurt to do it but you also aren't required to.
