But you can always experiment to confirm. Open a "drops enabled" stream and check progress, tab out for ten minutes or so, come back and check progress

There are a number of reasons. Perhaps you are trying to join a lobby that is level 25+ only when you are under that level. Maybe you are joining lobbies with vc turned on and they don't want to play with non-mic players.

The message you get after being kicked will give the exact reason.

I'm very curious to see how the whole "no hiding spots" thing will affect gameplay. Like what if you kill someone and a goose with a gun starts chasing and knows who you are since you're still in line of sight... What would the best way as a duck to get them off your tail before daytime? Or is the mere fact that corruption is a thing going to make it impossible for geese to give extended chase sequences?

And since the crow can't kill unless everyone is infected, this makes them extremely vulnerable to death by many sources. Geese with guns, ducks, and pelican are all extremely dangerous (especially pelican since they leave no trace and therefore are more bold to eat people typically)

This is usually caused by a registry error. If you are using windows, type Windows+R to open the run window. Type in “regedit” and launch the registry editor. Under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE, delete every folder with Gaggle (Gaggle Studios, Gaggle Studios INC, Gaggle.Fun, GaggleStudios). Be careful NOT to delete the Google folder. Relaunch your client, and have fun!

Most certainly latency.
The internet of both players involved has to send the data to the server that they killed the other player but due to the time that takes (sometimes up to 2 seconds if you have terrible ping), the server will only action the first received "kill", and register the other player as dead, despite them hearing the "kill" sound on their local client (which has 0 latency with itself)

It's not exactly killing freely. Players could, theoretically, follow them until sunrise to find who it was. Inquisitor might also be helpful here, as they'll be replacing detective and the mark might stay until sunrise.

Don't assume people will just work this out themselves. I have at one point been voted out as sheriff because I shot a duck in front of 3 other people. The ducks were Esper and Demolitionist. The only neutral was Pelican. So they voted me out "Because Tek killed" and it took another person to point out in the next meeting that I was hard cleared, why did y'all vote him? It hadn't occurred to enough people that I couldn't be bad if I had killed that I got voted.

The moral of the story is, be clear about why someone is hard cleared in the meeting.

My mistake was not calling attention to the roles list and just assuming that everyone had read it. So I hadn't bothered explaining anything.

That said, one time I was vig in a game with morphling. I knew who the morphling was by process of elimination. I was cleared of being the morphling. So I did a driveby on the morphling, shooting and running. in front of like 3 other people. They were certain it was a morphling kill so they started chasing me waiting to see me unmorph. Then the body was called.

They got mad at the reporter because "We were chasing the morphling!" and I muted my damn self so they couldn't hear me laughing.

I did not confess to my crime. Prolly not the best play, I should reasonably have admitted, claimed vig, and reported right after the kill to explain myself. But this was fun.

People can make assumptions sometimes. One fun assumption I exploited once was as a morphling, I sampled someone people suspected. So I did a driveby, as myself. Then while other people chase me, I morphed. So they went back to report and vote out the guy who they saw "unmorph"

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.

On the Steam forum, Herbert did say HP will replace Assassin, Inquisitor will replace Detective, and Demon Hunter will replace Vigilante. I think that's all of the roles revealed that will replace someone.
