The poor ducks on basement have no viable sabotages though. Every time I call the sacrificial bell, somebody finds it and cancels the sabotage almost instantly and I have to wait a whole minute to try again only for the same thing to happen again 😢

You could try to find the bell yourself. If you find it as a duck and collect it, it will not stop the sabotage. It will move it to a different place.

If you collect it as a duck, it guarantees the sabotage meeting happens, but more often than not the bell spawns underneath a Goose, at least in all the lobbies I've played in

With your other four sabotages, lights, clairvoyance, telepathy and doors... Well, good luck relying on sabotages.

I remember having another player experienced that, way before when it was released. Their dueling dodo partner was dead, and then they were voted out. Game continued as normal.

As long as the bodyguard is within the Duck's killing range, you should have died instead. If you were near the target but the Duck was on the opposite side, it is possible you were outside the Duck's killing range

So if a kill happens super early in a round you’ll know if it was a duelling dodo

As soon as it's ready! The gaggle team develop quickly, and we release patches fairly often. We don't often give out firm dates because it's either going to be a lie if we're wrong, or it'll be a rushed product that might sacrifice quality for speed. This could translate into releasing something without sufficient testing and creating lots of bugs for the game.

If you find none of that explanation sufficient, as Herbert always says, today we are one day closer than yesterday.
