I keep having the same issue, i checked for updates and verfied the files. It wont launch now, just says "initialization timeout"

I figured out why it is

When running GGD on linux with some proton version mic sometimes doesn't work because of echo cancelation. (already made a ticket abt it)

Goose Goose Duck is supported on Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS platforms. Linux has never been an officially supported platform and if GGD was playable on linux in the past, it was a happy accident. The team is constantly working on improving the game. Linux may or may not be supported sometime in the future!

Yeah the fix is to turn off echo cancelation and all works well. Otherwise it messes up in public lobbies.

@plain glen first I would check your audio routing and in-game settings. Then if its when you join a lobby 1) make sure its a lobby with voice chat enabled 2) troubleshoot network connection #community-solutions message
