Well, there were a few reasons for that, bad behavior being one, but also testers just exist in a weird universe where they're allowed to chat with people but not about certain things and they don't want to be seen as bragging, but they're obviously excited to help with the process. Dancing on the head of a pin, really. So I can see why some of them are in hiding.

Pre-alpha is crazyheaps early in a game's development, so hopefully this means additional testing with larger groups of people. Naturally we should wait and see what devs say, but there's nothing wrong with hoping.

Actually, I got some DMs from people curious about roles who had also gotten invites. I advised them to ask a mod about it and mods advised them to wait a couple of days and then check back if there's still an issue. They're not going to uninvite people just because they weren't online yesterday, so really it's just a matter of waiting (even if you get picked).

Look at your standard Dev cycle. Internal Alpha -> Pre-Alpha -> Alpha -> Beta -> Open Beta -> Release.

I can't say S6 will follow that cycle. But it should give people hope at very least.

It's very common for there to be big gap between an invite only Pre-Alpha and an open beta with no invites until they need big stress test or something.

Too much invites would also be a big danger to encounter more bugs - so rather going for a smaller player base in Pre-Alpha is the safest way to go. In my opinion!
