I'm not sure how well that would work for a game like Palia where crops could and most likely would be on real-time minutes or hours. I think if I was a free to play user and couldn't get on to get to my crops or it logged me out too soon only to put me in queue it would dissuade me from wanting to play. I personally think this game concept and possibly the execution warrants the ability to charge a monthly subscription, but yeah they could maybe offer different tiers of sub that open more of the game or give more benefits. I would 100% support this game monthly because I believe in the idea and the team and I think others would too.

A huge part of it involves the way characters are managed in game. Race/Class/Profession combinations. I literally had hundreds of alts on City of Heroes... but I dumped a whole lot of money into that game to get them. Sometimes I just fall in love with the character creation process.

Conan Exiles DLC's had themes that included building, clothes, and decor styles. Didn't effect the core game. You could also trade those items to players who didn't buy the DLC. I kinda liked that system

There's a lot of crafting of food and other materials in No Man's Sky. The 'ingredients' are far and wide, thus you have people acting as supply chains, brokers, managers, for a co-op or even for themselves. I'd love to see similar ideas here. Especially since those 'secondary acts' are going to be the 'main focus' here 😄
