Oh, I thought you were reacting to my thing about Pinkest Pink. There's some history about two painters, and one of them made a paint (Pinkest Pink and Blackest Black) that was banned from a dude named Anish Kapoor and anyone affiliated with him
For what it's worth, Kapoor's kind of an asshole (he basically made it so he's the only person in the world allowed to use Vantablack), so I think he deserved it
...Also he made a sculpture that was meant to be viewed from the air. In a no-fly zone. It's called Cloud Gate, but everyone else calls it The Bean.

Anish Kapoor is an artist who is the opposite of the Palia vibe. He purchases the rights to things specifically so that no one else can have or use them. He is most famous for purchasing vantablack, a matte black substance said to create the darkest surfaces on earth. This was demonstrated when one of his art installments, a hole in the ground painted with vantablack, tricked an onlooker into walking over it and falling in because it looked like a drawing.

Discord roles are finicky. As I recall, your color is determined by the 'rank' of the role on the list, so basic user role would override whatever color role you picked.

Honestly it isn't that deep, I helped Nel with a LIST of stuff not just OBS settings and it was all stream related AND we also just sat and laughed at chat being chaotic soooo there was a LOT that happened in 3 hours and it is NOT that important or big of a deal. I just helped because I CAN, I have the time and knowledge and if Nel thought i did poorly she would have said so and found someone else. The imagination is a vibrant paint with infinite colors. One of the benefits of text or hoot-grunt voicing is that it allows players to headcanon a lot about NPCs while still letting devs decide the basics that define a character. I feel like that might be especially important if romance is a mainstay in Palia, that openness to imagine and personalize the NPCs per player by having some things left vague on purpose.

Voicing a ton of characters can definitely be difficult. There was a fan mod started for Stardew to add in voice acting but with like 40 characters to voice hundreds of lines for... It's a big project.
