What is the A/C situation like in the Northwest? I lived in Maine for a while and not many homes had central air but this was number of years ago.

IRL that's actually relatively accurate, lol. The only time mine ever get mad is when you open them up, the rest of the time you can stand right next to them and watch them (which I do regularly, since they're in our garden).

You'd be surprised, they normally travel a few miles for forage anyways, and wildflowers along highways are popular forage. Urban bees usually get more consistent nectar than rural bees since gardens don't get dearths like wildflower fields do.

#1: most of what people think are bees are wasps. We deal with so many calls to come get bees when they're yellow jackets.

#2: some bee genetics are a little meaner than others, but for most people it's #1. A bee that isn't having its hive messed with has little reason to bother you

Native bees and honey bees are a little different. Native bees stay around their forage, honey bees are used to traveling because they seek out large sources of flowers.
