One part of this game I genuinely hpe they do is a lot of different biomes. THe fantasy look is adorable, but having areas like a swamp, ocean, beaches, forests, etc. would be nice.

One of my biggest wishes for ESO is, yes. You can have hostile wild animals and the likes. Even enemy encampments. And they do this too. But the overland delves are always filled with enemies in a way that it feels unnatural sometimes. And if Palia ever does like.. Very perillous overland delves like ESO, that they're all mostly environmental hazards.. Maybe rocks falling, maybe spike traps.. That sort of things.

Personally don't think there's any real point in complaining about cash shops. If they determine them to be necessary for pumping out content, they'll add them. If they don't, they are probably already acutely aware that most people would prefer not to have them.

Also you can say no cash shop, but unfortunately that ship sailed years ago. There is almost certainly going to be a cash shop as it's just standard. The important thing is whether it's just some cool stuff for supporters, or if it just makes everything in the normal game too "plain" to care about.

As for housing; I get both sides.

Instanced is good primarily because it makes housing essentially limitless. Sure, you lose a bit of enjoyment in the house making process when you know barely anyone will see it, but at least you've got a house.

In-world often means that housing is limited and eventually 'exclusive', but also makes the feature far more valuable to people that enjoy doing that stuff since people can see it.
