True, expecting anything too avant-garde might be pushing it. Not to mention the monetization system of asset skins would be killed by it. Unless, of course, they taxed all the player to player transactions. O_o But to be honest you are still probably right, just from a bit of lurking; Palia doesn't look to be too groundbreaking in it's base systems. Execution and artwork look stunning though, and if we're being serious those are the real game breakers anyways—idk if anyone would have played resident evil if all the actors looked like minecraft skins.

My Time at Portia and Graveyard Keeper are both a little more obscure titles I would recommend.
Stardew is always good, as many have recommended. Old Harvest Moon is amazing, but newer titles are made by a different studio and less good. The previous Harvest Moon team now releases games in the west as Story of Seasons, and those are quite good. Rune Factory is just a more fantasy setting by the same people, and also quite good! Rune Factory 4 Special is fun, but the graphics look very outdated. Rune Factory 5 is slated to come out later this year and is looking gorgeous.

Honestly the trailer gave me the same feeling whenever I was sitting in breath of the wild next to a campfire listening to the nature and minor details in sound design.
