Anyone else just as frustrated about not being able to finish Quest of the Gale? I created an alt account to see if it was something going on with my computer and I finished the quest, no problem... The difference between the two... my original account, there is no wind blowing to send you across to the last Island, and when on the last island, all three of them appear to be waiting on me to do something... the door to the sliding puzzle wont open... and Zeki didnt ask me to find anything to pick the lock..I have put in support tickets and not received a response, but the tickets are marked resolved... Am I missing something? The three NPCs are all on the last island.. none on the first island...

Plenty of adult people are also shy or uninterested in doing node callouts, so if anyone's worried about that, just know it's perfectly acceptable to go around collecting stuff on your own without notifying others. Maybe sometimes if you see someone else running up to a resource with you, you might let them get a hit in, but it's not required. Your game time is entirely up to you. 💙

Honestly, while I haven't crunched the numbers, I suspect that for things like palium it's probably better to knock out a node (and other regular or iron nodes) so that there are more respawn places available. By the time everyone is assembled to take out ONE node, many more could have been cracked and respawned.

a lot of people are stripmining everything and still having palium isues so it just kinda becomes difficult to figure out

With the patch, I've just been mining every regular rock I see in addition to whatever else I'm gathering, just to free up that slot for iron and palium. So the times I do come across palium in an abandoned corner, I don't feel bad taking it because most likely I'm the reason it spawned in.

In return, you can browse its 'shop', the leavings of other players. If no one has left anything, it has a Chapaa Ball, sort of a Zeki Ball mystery item thing. Sort of a nod to giving crows shiny objects and having them bring things back to you.

Things don't have to exclusively be bought in order for them to make money. They can have a cash shop WHILE also having some cosmetics earnable through gameplay. This has been employed by many games, it's not a hard concept.

I also appreciate the food you cook is your primary way to refill focus. There is no penalty for not having focus, but keeping your focus active is an XP boon, so why wouldn't you? I'm glad food making serves a purpose

That’s a good point. The switch is the largest selling console to date. It just really struggles to perform from a technical standpoint compared to Xbox or PS5.

I’m sure it’ll just come down to optimization in the end. Right now the Switch version really chugs in the frame rate and some textures are super blurry.

Overall though I really enjoy the game.

If you let it break, that's what the yellow circle around each tool is. If you let it go completely they'll break and you have to build it again. Make repair kits and use the repair station at either Sifuu's place, in Bahari at the stables or make one for your home. You can carry hundreds of repairs kits on you and it only takes up one space
