Because stolen goods are most likely sold cheap in black market, since the risk of getting caught selling them normally. The reason why cheaper is, because there is a risk with the buying of it as well, so if it wasnt cheaper they'd just go to a normal store

2. The mayor steals all poopoo when people sleep.
   3: thats why players never poopoo
   4: The fertilizer that looks like poopoo is being sold from Zeki, the mayor would look too suspicious to sell it himself so he provides Zeki with it, and gives Zeki a cut of the product
   5: The fertilizer stocks in the shop are INFINITE due to how little its being bought compared to everyone producing it so much.
   6: Thats why there are a lot of windmills around the place cause they gotta dry the poopoo

Summary : Thats why toilet expensive cause it ruins business and would cause a collapse of governmental taxing system

I don't think they need to nerf starstones. They have given us upteen plots to decorate. If I had to grind to get the decorations for all those I wouldn't do it. I do think that maybe it should be level specific - but it's kinda too late for that now.

I would bet a stack of rubies that something is going to get nerfed, once the devs realize what they have done. If cake parties were too profitable, then palium farming is certainly going to be seen as too profitable also.

Either palium spawns are going to change, or the price of those highest value gems is going to get halved.

Unfortunately not. My next large room wouldn't cost 39k if that were the case. I've seen someone say that the price for additional harvest houses caps at 130k (because you can only buy up to 9 apparently) but I'm not there yet so I can't say for sure

I'd expect this game to continue to have a lot of trials and error over the next few years, and because Human ™️ , I'd reason to say that even years down in the future the game could still require rebalancing as features get added / changed etc.

Well, I would brace for impact. The devs basically deleted solo cooking from the game because some people were making like 50k/h after hours of organizing and farming necessary materials. Surely they are willing to tweak the price of gems to prevent people earning just as much with a pickaxe and 10 minutes of prep work.

I stand corrected as I checked my store in the City Hall. Housing pieces do increase their cost after buying them multiple times.

Oh, and I'll just add one more thing: cooking parties are generally viewed as a very communal and cooperative experiences, and that is sort of inline with the general feel of the game. Whereas the rabid palium farming tends to get rather competitive at times and cause a bit of friction, just by the nature of how the node spawns work and the open world aspect of it.

Having that sort of thing as the top earning activity is probably not great for the feel of the game either.

I don't think mining actually tops cooking at the moment though... The most I've seen in terms of earnings was someone who got 80k in 4h (just a little less that the ~23k/h from a cake party). But it depends on RNG so your earnings could be way worse. To top it off you need to actively run around looking for nodes whereas cooking parties have a lot of downtime and repetition, meaning you can do something else while you're at it (watch a movie, play a mobile game, etc)

But that clearly isn't true though. If you cut down say a big palium node it will instantly spawn to another completely predictable spawn point on the map. So, more people makes it spawn faster. Enough people will make the spawns almost instant for everyone.

Sure, most people are doing the farming by blind luck at the moment, but I bet lot of people are making more gold than you can imagine.

If you cut down a big palium node OR a stone node in the spawn point (there are determined Pal spawn points), it has a chance of spawning.

I've participated in #1143270926394335282 a lot, and the Pal rate is lesser than in solo, bc it needs to be 3-4 ppl max per ore spawn so that everyone can get a hit on each Palium Node, and oftentimes people go AFK and whatnot

If someone is bonking a Palium on a specific side, they will take a while to get to the other side for the Palium, so you have to wait to break that Palium

Trust me. If you do it correctly only palium will spawn. There is no randomness to it.

Which is clearly demonstrated by that video I linked just now of me farming yesterday morning on an empty server.

They do normally spawn that way. And have done so for as long as I have been paying attention.

When a palium node is broken it will instantly spawn to the next empty palium spawn in the queue. Queue is determined by the order in which the nodes are broken.

The stones follow the same pattern. If you do not break the stones (or palium) then they don't spawn at all.

Never was that much of a issue/benefit to doing it until they added all those expensive gems in there. Now it's... very profitable.

I´ve tested a few times on just 1 location not knowing the status of the server, but every time if does get me around 20K+ per 30 minutes ish. I was also concerned with the economy of the game.

but spots like mines or tamala are kind of meh, mine is so much running and tamalas cave has noch enough spots for my taste, same with windy, windy is doing much geyser work if you want to do downstairs and upstairs - so the persons at hideaway, flooded north side and proudhorn have a very big advantage in terms of work to do while farming

I would say if there was player to player sales it might not be good for game health but as it is now the only thing you can buy are rooms, decorations and furniture. In my eyes it doesn't matter much to me if my neighbor gets 1 million a day.

You can just keep the stone nodes in the bad spots and use the good spots for the palium spawning. You would only need like 20 or so spots.

My go-to plan for the Palium is at Pavel Mines loop mining: top-to-bottom > Flooded Fortress entrance > going back to the top via geyser, the respawn time is looping very well

Zeki Coins is like endgame, even with over 3 mil spent (probably very close to 4) im not there yet - and i play much (never did cake parties) and i guess the devs also need to see that casuals dont fall behind because many cant play much cause of work or family but they are a source of income for skins but yeah in the end mining feels more worth now - trees would need something like starstones as well now 🙄

Yeah, you're breaking lots of large palium nodes that conveniently spawn one after the other, but you don't explain anything... How exactly does it work? The first spot you're in I used to farm that a lot and not once has palium spawned like that for me... why? Second question, how are nodes not reapawned by the time you get from one location to another? These days I farm the pal in Pavel mines same nodes like in tour vid. I start top, by the time I hit the nodes down and fly back up everything's respawned...

In my opinion the ranking of the most profitable skill now sets are: Mining (starstones) > Gardening (worm farms and seed collectors) > Cooking (parties) > Hunting > Foraging > Bug Catching (honey lures) > Fishing

Well yes, it was only meant as a demonstration. The explanation is that when you break a palium node or a stone node in a palium spawn it will instantly respawn to the next available spawn on the list. So, there is no randomness to it and no spawn timer.

The order is constant and the number of palium and stones and empty spots are constant.

Wait.. wait.. I was about to say I never witnessed that happening on my mining runs, but... the 'list' you mention is map-wide, right? So if I break a stone in top pavel and by the time I break the next one, some other person breaks a stone in Tamala's cave, the order will be 1st Pavel node -> Tamala node -> 2nd Pavel node? So if Pal pops up in first pavel node and I break it, it will immediately spawn one in Tamala's next? Am I getting it right?

Yes, that is the way it works. Although there are a more empty nodes. it will take a while to cycle around.

I'm good on palium from just my regular runs and I'm nearly always at gold cap, so this was more of a curiosity to understand the mechanics of ore spawning. Thanks. i just started playing a week ago, so i never experienced cake parties or previous big gold earning things they changed. whenever i happened to mine a starstone i was so excited! it allowed me to upgrade my backpack quickly, which helped me enjoy the game far more. i hate limited inventory space, it really kills my vibe cause i'm a big collector and like to grab all kinds of things on runs. i'm constantly running out of backpack space. even now lol but hopefully at some point i'll be able to afford the 50k one. but yea starting out, it takes awhile to make gold so those stones gave me a boost that made my experience far more enjoyable!

i've been hunting and farming to earn gold now that i got the copper arrows and seed collectors. farming has been fairly profitable for me and i know it will be even more once i unlock preserve jar and fruit. so far i've been able to buy a hallway, small room, and a medium room! and all the soil plots. it seems like a decent balance right now for gold earning, maybe a lil grindy but i guess mmos are generally that way? but i think cozy games should be less grindy and more relaxing, i think this game has a decent balance, cause it's fun/relaxing to do a lot of the things and doesn't feel too grindy.

the only thing that feels really grindy to me is last night i realized the way housing slots work is that you have to buy all new stuff for the housing slots... that kinda seems extra, i wish it was more like a "closet " where you could use the items you already own on first slot on the second slot. but ah well i'm not even close to that point in the game rn anyways lol

also i wish more stone was given in mining nodes i literally never have enough stone for glass or bricks , and i wish there was more clay too lol, like more spread out since it's just like only at the bottom edge of the map

I also wish we had unlimited storage space. I find myself not doing things as I know it will top up my storage, collecting, harvesting my garden. Now with mining, the starstones which I love, precious space. I'm a hoarder, and I love farming but a part of me dreads new crops and collectibles being added for this reason solely. yes i completely agree. im a new player and already reaching the storage limit set by the 8 wooden chests. i know when i unlock the larger chest recipes that storage space will increase, but i still feel its strange that im approaching the wooden chest storage limit after only playing for a week. ofc ive been super obsessed and i dont have a job or kids so ive been playing a /lot/ every day but still lol. im afraid im gonna run out of space p soon. 😐 and im also a hoarder. i want to keep like a few of each insect and fish and other stuff in case the npcs want them or i need for a quest or somethin

Is this the group where we can share with the dev's? Proudhorn and Blue Chapaa loot. I've hit lots of those animals, and gotten credit for the take down, but I almost NEVER get the loot. I'm usually not present when the take down occurs. The people who take them down don't normally post loot location on the chat. Three times I've gotten loot despite at least 12+ assists. It is pretty generic loot. Azure chapaa tail and proudhorn antlers should be standard in those loot bundles because odds of getting them are extremely rare. I've gotten those zero times. The grind to reward ratio too low for my taste.

Yes this recipe is indeed bugged (as you said) - it asks you to make a ton of ingredients that don't actually get used in the recipe. I did chop a tomato first though just in case, even though it did not prompt me to do so.

Yeah, the options I feel like are moreso to have a variety of choices for the quality-determining ingredients (eg. type of catfish + quality of your veggies used)

It doesn't really ask for them, it's moreso the option (if you ignore the UI jumping). But the issue comes when you use the ingredients you can, and then maters are no longer allowed

Scrolled up and: There is no economy in this game. And for every nerf that tries to drag out grinding time to retain players, you're likely going to lose more frustrated with said nerfs and slow progress. I'd be curious to see the numbers myself. When there's no player to player trade, market board, or anything of the like, it doesn't really matter. It absolutely baffles me that people keep calling for nerfs every time something happens that allows players to make money at a decent pace from more than one method. It's the laziest way to drag out playtime instead of actually putting things in to keep players' attention and keep them wanting to play.

the way they implemented these "rummage piles" was also atrocious, it looked like a cry for help, something to make players login again and they made it especially crappy to have to find the thing or depend on others to find it, left me baffled tbh
they could have made it appear on your own plot and let it accumulate a few days so returning players have a little gift, our plots are huge
instead they made it something annoying and not really welcoming imo, just something else to do once a day to show those "top daily active users" numbers to the execs..

I agree with you. I've been sick these last two weeks, which means I'm home all day and have enough time playing Palia... And yet it's annoying for me to even keep the rummage piles in mind, so I don't forget to look for them.
Once I return back to work, I'm pretty sure I won't have enough time to look for them, as I usually just join the server, put vegetables into barrels, sell pickled jars from the previous day, take care of garden and then leave the server.

yeah this was mostly a joke i saw around 10 people run into pavel mines and followed out of curiosity then it was like a rat race getting to the next available palium node it was hilarious to watch

the last few days you can easily make 200-400 palium in an hour or so with all palium spawn points being farmed but today it has been taking ages to respawn, around 5 minutes for a node to respawn which is crazy slow 😮 maybe just bad servers or people tired of the gems already idk

I don't think it's so much that, as much as it is that many people just don't have issues completing the recipes without ruining them in the first place OR cook with other people if they do... I never knew you could ruin a recipe until I got a UE error and my game crashed in the middle of cooking, and I logged back in to the ruined one. and that was after cooking hundreds of times solo. I don't do it anymore because they nerfed solo cooking because of the stupid cake parties but I used to just turn whatever ingredients I had into cooked food for extra profit.

1. I would love more gardening space. 2. I would love it where if we make something that we can sell it for coin instead of having to trash it or have it fill up spots in our inventory or put in an extra tent on our plot. 3. I put out my extra Harvest House on my plot. How many extra ones can we set out or is it just one extra before i invest and buy another one to put my extra furniture in it ? 4. I love the wall paper, except when it bleeds into another area of the walls outside and then looks odd. 5. Some hills let you climb then you get stuck instead of allowing you to get all the way to the top. This is frustrating when you are trying to reach the level up that might have a flowtree on it. 6. The white stags are still getting caught in rocks, and no way to kill them. That's my thoughts for this morning. Love the game though 🙂 Just mostly wish for more gardening plots because the apple, blueberries, and hot peppers take up 4 squares. I have played Palia since the beta release, and now for the first time I encountered rude players that verbally attacked me for something I didn't do (that I took palium nodes in front of them, but it was stone nodes that I collected), so now I'm scared to collect stones near palium node areas.
Is this a common situation? I got shocked of the sudden messages so I quit the game and rejoined again to get to a different server.

Its not common but it does happen alot since starstones were dropped. People get upset if you take full nodes. Now when i go mining have to hit EVERY node once or someone gets upset

It isn't too common, but it does happen sometimes. The best thing you can do is block and report them at the moment

And also remember that you didn't do anything wrong. They are trying to force you to play in a way that they want, which is something that noone has any rights to do

This game is intended to foster solo play as much as it does social play.
Some folks forget that.
But I do think that if you want to gather resources alone, it's important to be mindful of people who aren't.
Just as they should be respecting you.
No one should be yelling at people for wanting to play alone.
No one should be sniping nodes from people who are obviously gathering to share.
A little situational awareness and mutual respect goes a long way.
There's room for all of us.

Gardening combined with mining is the best at the moment. Mining for the new star stones, gardening for jams/pickles, and use the rest of your crafting slots for worm farms. You can buy mushrooms from Zeki for 16g, which should return about 30g worth of glow worms + fertilizer

A map that functions in real time would require a third party program that is attached to the game itself, which is against TOS for a lot of games. Dulla has already advised of S6's stance on that.

are you sure that's real time resources? that would be impossible seeing how servers are matchmade at 25 players a pop and each server has its own timers, which would require somebody to have bots on every server and thus not efficient or functional for a game like this
it's probably just an aggregated map showing all the possible locations

honestly i have no idea on specifics since i haven't tried it myself, but i've heard about it in other games where there is an overlay showing real time locations and i assume that's what the person is talking about, definitely cheating and sucks the fun out of the game

I have not found one quest in the game that was time sensitive - even if they give you a time, it doesn't matter if you go there the next day or in a week or a month.
So what I did was just ignore some quests in the beginning to not be overwhelmed or stressed with times (you can unpick quests from the list you want to pursue later) - if I went there when the time was right per chance, I did it, fine.
It also has the advantage of still having some quests to do while many others have rushed all of them already.

people can cook together so people use it to get a lot of gold quickly

I believe you need your cooking skill leveled up to at least 4 because you need a lot of equipment to host and some of that you don't have access to before then.

You can level up your cooking skill with a basic campfire, making things like grilled mushrooms and grilled oyster

Gotcha. I tried co-op cooking with my partner and if she used an ingredient and placed it, we both got the meal, do i have that right? So is it wise to do all meals like this if i intend yo cook?

Yes, the results of group activities are shared. I believe that as long as someone else hosts, you don't need a particular skill level to join a cooking party

That is how Coral Island started and it is pretty cool how they honored their backers. It is not free to play but I love how open they are. Their communication has been great too but now they have entered full release we will see if they keep up the updates and communication.

Yes it does work. I use my configured to alt run button and if i dont want her to run i just hit shift

If you toggle run off its more... jog. Holding ctrl lets you walk proper for comparison

I did test in game if toggling the run makes walk a toggle, it doesnt.

yeah. default speed is a jog really, not walking or skipping. whatever ur walk key is bound to, is actual walking. i wish it was toggable too cause id like to walk around sometimes

I want more progress from renown. Like runspeed or focus affectiveness or any of 9001 other buffs i cant be bummed to type out on my phone

The problem with the color combos is that since so much of the clothing is outsourced they are wildly inconsistent with how the colors are used. And whole sets will just not have a blue/white option or a green option or a pink option at all.

Theyre not outsourced, it just a seperate team within s6 (like 5-10 people by my guesstimate)
