For regular unicorn I found mine right by Windy Ruins on the beach there. My friend also found hers there. I am not sure if it is really better luck or not 🤷‍♀️ Good luck! nope it spawns randomly anywhere iron can, best bet it to use a ore compass which narrows it down alot or wait for call outs

while also running around looking of course

You can get giant goldfish on your plot. Sashimi is in bahari rivers I think (somebody correct me if wrong). There is a semi tested theory that the best way to get sashimi is to go to proudhorn in the morning and fish there

The worms? There’s quite a few ways, but the easiest is making regular/glow worm farms, you can buy the recipes from einar once you’re a high enough fishing level

Regular worms can be bought from zeki for a decent price, and you’ll always make your money back

if you have it attached, then there is a little hook picture on the right side of your screen above the tool. It should have the number of bait left that you have selected

Not sure if this is the best answer but in Bahari around a lot of the cliffs you can see rocks with dark black pieces on them, that is the iron. Pulsewater/Hideaway/Flooded Steps/Proudhorn are just a few that have several cliffs that can spawn them.

Anyone know what's up with the kilima fisher's mounted fish? I can't get it to mount on the wall like the others. It is the smallest of mounted fish and yet won't fit on a large space. My others mount just fine. Only place I can seem to get it to mount is on the frame of the window.

They can drop out of any size, they just are annoying. The emerald was the worst for me, amethyst the second worst and the ruby I got super quick relatively speaking. Everyone's RNG is different though.

Certain fish have a slightly higher chance in the bubbles but you can get the Void Ray out of the bubbles

You can fish without pulling in a fish. If it’s not the fish you want just let it swim back down into the water without doing anything with your rod then left click to stop fishing. This method doesn’t use worms and only consumes boosters on your rod slot in your inventory at the top. Also be very patient with the unicorn take it slow and calm then you will catch it. I know from experience because I have been trying to catch it too quickly and that doesn’t work. I caught it on Mon yay.

I dont know thats why I said my gut says kilima. Size of the rock matters for the amount of stone and flint/ore. When testing loot drops for a school project I didnt see any link between rock size and starstones/bugs. My gut is probably biased as silver spawning is higher than gold, which are completely different loot so it wouldnt matter in this case

Are others still having the problem with using glow worms in fishing hotspots? Ever since it became broken waaaaay back, I have not had it work since. Maybe 1 in 20 glow worm casts into a hot spot will work; others just snap back and catch nothing. Reported as a bug and to Cust Serv several times.

The above of course means I will never get the achievements for any star quality fish that require glow worms.

I have been trying for weeks to catch the Unicorn fish. Have only see 2 and they've escaped within seconds of hooking them, and I have a fully upgraded fishing rod. One fish should not be this stressful! If you managed to find one or the Flametongue, I wish you luck catching them, foametongue was easier catching then finding tho. Try fishing in the waters around the dragon temple in the mornings. That's where I've had the best luck.

The fish at bahari coast give me the most trouble with catching

The Giant Goldfish and Void Ray are a 2% chance both in and out of the hotspots. Same for the Swordfin Eel

The Unicorn fish and Flametongue are 1% chance out of hotspots but 2% chance in the hotspots

my current process for money is a bit over 30k every IRL day with apple jam worm / glow worm farming (just with worm and fert output sold alone)
about 8 worm farms and 1 glow worm farm, make about 100 glow worms to fish with, sell all the worms and fert from the other farms, use the sppedy grow i got from glow worm farm to boost apples
and then when i go fishing with the glow worms its like another 7k in fish while im lookin for makeshift furniture

Yeah, that's a rough one, a real fighter. I lost as many as I caught in the beginning. Some say other fish are rough, but that to me is the hardest to catch.

I believe it's the same fish in each of your plots, makeshift can be fished, but fishing pools/starred fish can not spawn- also believe you can fish by the exit to Bahari as well- not sure if it is the same as with the pond

Yw- In my experience, my fishing RNG as it is, I do the best for Makeshift in Pavel mine w/ glow worms. My luck hasn't been that great in other places- perhaps Beachcomber Cove is second.

Yeah, I've had pretty much the same experience with makeshift; the main reason I'm asking about the housing plot pond is I'm a bit of a lazy completionist and want to reach level 50 in fishing without having to run around constantly lol. Getting makeshift stuff from the pond is mostly just a bonus for me since I like the furniture set itself

Yeah- I go to Pavel as it has the three spawns that come up pretty quick, people will also give you a fishin' buff often as they pass through.. I avoid Kilima for fishing and I think the Pond is strictly Kilima related- I made more money fishing in Beachcomber, but more Makeshift in mine.

Just gotta turn off the brain otherwise I would definitely not be able to do it for a long period without some kind of alternative distraction
