Hi! Is there anyone who help me with the oyster recipe or the muujin bahari recipe?
Does anyone know where I can find the recipe Oysters Akiwunduu? Any help would be greatly appreciated 👏 😀
Anyone doing a cooking party for the midsummer bundle? I'm only lvl 11 and need someone who has the recipes 😬
reth’s guild store. cooking level 15 i believe.
i can start the recipe. i’m on steam deck so my in game chat is nonexistent tho
@meeks can ya add me Soulfullredhead
oh hmm, the wiki might not be correct. it might come from a quest line with tish/reth.
sure
Thx 😊
Make sure you're going to the store by talking to Reth not using his register. I just saw it there, still grinding the cooking level
ah ty, i always forget that it’s hard to tell the difference
still need help?
i can help if you need!
That would be great! Can we do a cooking party now?
I'm Shellmer in game
Can glittertime come too?
Your lot is locked to visitors
sure. your plot easier to meet up at?
Sure!
since i don’t have glittertime added
Thank you!
you need one more oven.
glittertime can get to my plot if you add us to a party
alright we can do my place
Headed over!
star quality or no? i don’t have non star quality onion so that’s the only ingredient i can’t do
I don't think it matters for the bundle? Maybe star just to be safe
Meeks I added ya
Head over to me Ill cover everything 😀
Mkstrehl I am trying to add ya
my ign is meeeks
Do you have the munjin one too?
Gotcha
yes
trace come on over we cooking
Trace add Shellmer and I can put you in our party
trace can come since we’re friends, no need to be in a party
don’t see you, head to my plot
Ok
Come to meeks plot! We're here too
What am I bringing ?
I don't think I can add you to a party when I'm at their plot
You don't have to bring anything. It will pull right from your boxes
Ok
doesn’t need to be in party, as long as they do one ingredient
Omw
Ik I just wanted to make sure they weren't waiting on the party invite to head over
kitchen is outaide
which recipe do you need? we’re doing muujin bahari (i actually haven’t grabbed the honey muujin one yet, i can do that real quick tho)
alright if i leave my plot it’ll kick y’all @icy marlin @open geyser i’ll need to to grab the honey baked muujin recipe
we can do another oysters for now and then i’ll go grab it
Thanks. Let us know when you're ready for the muujin
Thank you 😊
for sure, sorry i haven’t grabbed it yet lol
Apple cakes gain only 22g if processed in a farm, or less than 12 percent gain for unstarred, less than 8 percent gain for unstarred. There are items you can put in a glow worm farm that gain much more per hour than this and don't clog it up quickly with QU fertilizer. (Cakes need babysitting and can't just run overnight)
Me? I just sell them
See Arenvanya's fertilizer sheet in pins for more info
@open geyser @icy marlin head over
Omw 🙂
I didn't get that hmmmm
Yes I did lol
Inventory overload ty 😊
Beautiful place meeks 😉
heh thanks. happy to help!
Appreciate you more then ya know 💯 😌
anyone that have mujiin bahari recipe i can cook with?
I would also like to cook that reciepe if someone has it :3
Does anyone want to cook with me?
I have the recipe
any advice on how to level up cooking fast? I'm tryin to get the mujiin bahari recipe and that level 20 is pretty scary
attenbd a cooking party or lots of campfires
Cooking parties will do, if you need it for the bundle you can join a cooking party and ask the initiator of the recipe to select Muujin Bahari after the party is done(of course they must be level 20)
Anyone know the best way to level cooking without joining a party? Or is joining a party the absolute best way?
personally i recommend either just mass cooking your preferred focus food to stock up, and/or doing the campfire method by putting 4-5 campfires in a circle and standing in the center while rotating to collect the dishes
I tried the campfire one and ran out of ingredients FAST even though I had a decent amount of meat stocked up (or at least I thought I did)
if that's not working for you then i do recommend joining a beginner friendly cake party! if you have any questions about them feel free to ask :)
Alright I appreciate it. Thank you!
Where does one find this?
hey!
can anyone help me make Spicy Honey-Baked Muujin?
in eshe's room!
Hi all, I just wanted to check if there is a way to access your storage while at someone else's cooking party. And I say cooking party, I actually mean my wife discovered she can access my stuff but I think that may be because she has editor privileges.
she cannot access your stuff, that's her stuff in the chests on your plot! this would work the same for you if you went to her plot and opened a chest there, it would show your stuff to you, but she will still see her stuff when she opens it !
Thanks 😄
Chests are really more like portals to the Storage Dimension rather than actual containers lol
don't underestimate the strength of talking to villagers often! you can chat with them once every real life hour - it resets at midnight. each time gives five friendship points. that's half the value of giving them a regular daily gift, but obviously you can do it multiple times a day if you get enough playtime :-)
you can also chat with them both immediately before and immediately after midnight Palia time to get two days worth of chatting right next to each other
you can also give a villager all four of their weekly wants even if you don't have the friendship level unlocked, technically - check paliatracker.com to find out what they want
Anyone happy to cook muujin bahari or the oyster dishes at all, just shy off level 15 and the earth bundle is so close to completion, online now? 🙂
Eshe was hard to level up cause she's so picky lol. Try giving starstones if you have them and the "loved" gift.
can anyone help make mujin bhairi?
Have never taken part in a cooking party and would really like to 🙂
Please let me know if any are happening
Does anyone need help with Oysters Akwinduu or Spicy Honey-Baked Muujin?
Anyone have mujin bahari that would be okay with me cooking with them to complete my bundles?
if your still available i need help with both recipies
I can help with any recipes too!
Do you have muujin bahari?
Got kicked out of game getting back on now
Thank you so much! I appreciate it 😊
Np! It helped me out too cause it gave me lvl 25 and weekly achievement 🎉
Question for the cooking enthusiasts. Do all MM foods come on that square plate?
Unfortunately, Eshe's starstone is the ruby 😩
NOT worth it giving those to her, imo
Do you know how to level up faster the cooking skill, which dish should I cook?
Hi! When someone says they’re making 100x of a recipe, does that mean they’re doing the recipe 100 times or they’re doing it until they have 100 of those foods
I still need oysters akwinduu and spicy honey-baked muujin if anyone would be willing to help me get it
mawshimi is the best $_$
Oh we could have cooked those too! I can help later if you still need help.
lol you finally found one!
after all that time i finally did 😄
That would be awesome! Let me know when you're available to
I need a black pearl and I can't seem to get one. Is there a specific time the drop rate is more frequent?
No, unfortunately. Any elder clam mushroom is the same as every other.
just gotto open a hundred of those oysterclams
Yeah, expect 100-200 clam mushrooms
can hunt for smoles to get those if ur tired of foraging this gives plush chances 😄
Thank uu!!!
Yeah, shmoles are pretty effective for accumulating them, especially when working together with other players
split up a stack of the staircase mushrooms in your bag (plus a few star ones) to fill it up and it will send the spores and everything to your home storage
What is overprep? I see it on the palia party app but idk what it means or what you do if you sign up as over prep
Making more than needed. And what you make not getting used. But you still get credit and get the end item.
Can someone please help me make the spicy baked honey mujin?
What is the easiest dish to make that you can obtain early, and make a lot of money with
There is no level requirement to fish up the sashimi or fish stew recipes - assuming you mean party-relevant recipes.
Solo cooking is not generally profitable, with the minor exception of grilling unstarred fish for a chance to improve its value, or fish stew with only unstarred ingredients.
Where can i get those? That sounds wonderful too because I like fishing a lot so fish based recipes are perfect
Sashimi recipe is from Bahari rivers with no bait, any time. Be aware that it's supposed to look like a message in a bottle, but might look like a glowing pink fish (ancient koi) instead.
Fish stew is from the Bahari Coast with worms, any time. Same caveat applies.
I know it's a little slower solo, but does it also affect price?
Mkk thx!
Yes, because when you cook in groups you split the value of the ingredients and everyone gets a copy, multiplying any rare or expensive ingredients.
Also, faster time to completion typically means a higher star rate, and starred food is worth +50% the base price.
If you're interested in more details/calculators for different dishes, here's this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CqV_SHjfqaYcGcfqg4aVp21tYZACUDNMHYkTo9Wyu-8/edit?gid=2013141397#gid=2013141397
Oh wow, Thanks!!!
I need to make the spicy mujin honey baked thing for the flower board anyone have the recipes and down to cook also if you know the ingredients I can go collect them if you let me know thank you
where can i buy the hearty veggie soup recepie ?
Bean burger cooking party this Friday, to log in, go to Palaiparty.app https://paliaparty.app/0qus57
Anybody online able to help me cool the bulletin board meals?
I'll use spoiler tags because I just unlocked the Elderwood properly via quests. Finally I can interact with infected things. ||Should I use potions, Elderwood Lure/Arrows/Bombs, or honestly after looking through the wiki I think I might just strive for the Bag of Illusion? I don't see why I wouldn't?||
I know this is technically also about hunting/insects/fishing but I'm most irritated during foraging - thanks heaps 😄
||Its annoying not having the bag equipped and needing a potion to pick up one thing, but i do get more essence having the brighteye amulet on instead and using potions|| @muted jacinth
Can someone help with muujin bahari recipe? plz т.т
add || to each end!
I got the sashimi recipe, but I can't find it listed on the kitchen counter. Am I too low of a level to cook it? I definitely used the sashimi recipe book.
Are you looking at the prep station?
I found it!! thank you!
Hi, how do I get the oyster akwinduu recipe?
Its purchasable from Reth when you reach Cooking Level 15
oki thank u!!
https://paliaparty.app/2kjzon
focus cooking party
Veggie chili
can you join a cooking party at any level?
yeah its actually one of the better ways to level up your cooking
if you don't have the ingredients for the dish you can pick a "free role" which is just stirring, spreading, baking or cooking
this for example, someone else would bring the wheat to roll out the dough and then all you'd do is put it in the oven and take it out before it burns, no ingredients required on your end
This is what I am hopinng......cooking is my lowest skill and I need star cakes for the board, but I also don't have enough star sweet leaf. I was hoping somene might invite me to a cake party.
Check out https://paliaparty.app/ or #1143270926394335282 , and look for celebration cake parties, in my experience the SL doesnt always have to be starred, id advise looking for beginners tags till you get used to it, only do the role you signed up for and dont be afraid to ask questions if you're unsure
thanks

how do I get the recipe for spicy honey mujin?
You get if from Eshe's room after you reach max friendship with her, I think at lvl 4 you get her room keys ^-^
then I hope someone throws a mujin making party bc I'm at level 2 with her...lol
Room key is level 3, thankfully! You don't have to be maxed
Thanks Eliot, I wasn't very sure about it XD
I am new to Palia, and I just found out about cooking parties. I know you each get a task to complete, but do you need to bring your own ingredients? How does it all work?
So uh.. solo cooking grind... Any tips? Almost level 9..and a girl just wants to finish the roots bundle 🥲
you’re responsible for any ingredient you sign up for, but it will automatically pull from your storage, so you don’t need to bring it in your inventory.
unfortunately, cooking together is the fastest way! the more complex a recipe, the more XP. if you’re going solo, i’d probably do something around the 400-600 focus level? i usually do chili oil dumplings.
i WANT to join a party but i genuinely start having anxiety attacks that I'm gonna mess something up.. lol maybe someday.
But ty 🙂
understandable! i also have anxiety. for what it’s worth, i’ve never been to a cooking party where anyone cared if you messed up. maybe you can just cook with friends too, it doesn’t have to be a formal party. maybe someday you’ll be comfortable with it. if not, chili oil dumplings!
Does anyone know where I can get the food recipes that are on the billboard except for the cake?
Oysters you buy from Reth when level 15 cooking and Honey muujin is in ||Eshe’s room||
Ohh okay tyyssmm!!
campfire cooking with a circle of 4-5 campfires is fastest solo!
more details and options: #🍳│cooking-foraging message
Honestly didnt think of that. ty
Can anyone help me make the baked spicy honey mujin for the flower board please??
I am helping someone tomorrow at 9pm GMT if that’s any good to you?
Say peeps, im hosting a Petit Five cooking party tonight, in case anyone is interested 👀 Its ideal for new players or who have lower focus, as it gives about 400-600
can someone help with bahari muujin recipe?
@frozen socket what time’s your party at?
10 pm EST
in like, 2 hours and 40 minutes basically
https://paliaparty.app/hk7u2o still need veggies and rice!
Anyone able to help with Muujin Bahari, star quality Oysters Akwinduu and/or star quality Celebration Cake for my fiancée and I? Can help with star quality Spicy Honey-Baked Muujin if needed.
I can help I am helping someone else currently with a couple of these dishes if you guys can join us? there’s a different thread for the Midsomer board or I would’ve responded sooner lol
Is anyone hosting a cake party?
Is there anyone who can help me make the starred oysters akwinduu?
What ingredients are needed?
I don't have the recipe yet
But I do have pretty much all of this so I'd be able to help make it if someone has the recipe
Okay! 🫶🏼
Nvm I do not im sorry 🥲 I forgot for that I need eshes key room and im not there yet
That's okay, I appreciate you for checking!
i was helping a friend with there wall and cooked them some sushi. but now its not showing up in there inventory. is this a common glitch?
did they assist with the cooking? like add an item or stirring?
if I signed up for someone's cake party, do I just show up at their lot or wait for them to invite me to the party at the time of the event?
Yes, they were basically "manning the stove" while I prepped all the ingredients. They put everything in and grabbed it when it was done. It gave the notification that they got it. But it didn't actually show up in there inventory.
You usually add them and join their plot fron the blue board 30-60 mins before the time of the event if there is a large amount of attendees
does anyone have a muujin bahari recipe that my friend and i could quickly come craft? we need it for the board in kilima!! :)
Now that I think about it, that might be the problem. Since it starts at the prep station there's no extra steps. Only adding and finishing. But I didn't think that mattered as long as they interacted with something. Could that be it?
thanks
"or campfire" lol I hate AI making stuff up
You do have to complete a minigame step (chop, roll, stir, flip, or remove an intermediate ingredient from the oven) to get credit, OR start the recipe.
so if they just stood there and added ingredients to the dish, no, that wouldn't count, unfortunately
Just did my first celebration cake!! I did it solo, I’m so proud of myself
If they don't have any of the ingredients, you could start a minigame and then exit out of it (F on PC by default, cancel button on controller), then they could step in and do the minigame with the ingredient you left on the station
I didn't even see that that's too funny 🤣
Yeah I don't trust those blurbs for exactly this kind of reason. Sometimes they will get just enough right to sound like they know what they're talking about, then say some absolute nonsense in some key detail...
Well, my first cake party was a bust.
i did mine by myself too !! congrats !
hey yall, can the host for a cake party have all of the ingredients needed or each have to bring one?
Each attendant will need to bring the required amount of ingredient they signed up for, the host can have backup ingredients to fill in missing roles
Attendants can only use their own ingredients, it can be used while stored in their storage
While technically possible, I wouldn't recommend it. The host placing ingredients for everyone at the party to mix would almost completely void the advantages of doing a cooking party in the first place (and maybe have worse results due to time costs), at least for profit-focused cake parties.
If you just need to do a few rounds for a specific purpose (e.g., bulletin board), then it might work out okay, but I don't know if I would call that a cake party per se.
The purpose of a profit party is to split the ingredients and the effort/attention required, letting you make dishes faster and more cheaply than each person making them alone (like a set of assembly lines)
how do you get recipe for honey baked spicy muujin ?
From Eshe's room after you complete her relationship level 3 quest
thanks!
Thanks for confirming that for me. I'll make sure they work on at least one ingredient next time so they get credit. Didn't know adding finished ingredients didn't count towards credit because we usually work at the oven that requires flips and stirs.
oh, that reminds me, it didn’t show up for me there even though i’ve been max friendship with her for over a year…
Anyone know if anyone is planning on doing a spicy honey mijuu cook party?
you can try posting or looking in https://discord.com/channels/809856101326913567/1143270926394335282 or https://discord.com/channels/809856101326913567/1267651728229007390
thanks
I can help you if you can't find a group
I've been fishing a lot and grilling the extra fish and notice that the value increases?? I'm not complaining just thought it was interesting. Is this RNG or does it always increase predictably? I am choosing which fish to grill so I have control over the outcome.
rounding and if grilling the unstarred it can come out starred
Thanks. Right now I’m working towards friending Eshe to get the recipe but a cooking party is probably better 🤣
Can you only find it there after completing the quest, or is starting the quest (which gives you her room key) enough?
Grilled fish of course takes 2 fish at a time. Campfire recipes calculate the sell value like this:
- the base sell value of the dish is the unstarred sell value of the ingredients used added together.
For example, two scarlet koi grilled together (unstarred 100g each) creates a grilled fish with a base value of 200g.
A scarlet koi (100g) plus an ogopuu meat (16g) will make grilled fish worth 116g.
- If the grilled food turns out starred, it is worth 1.5x the base value
example: if the 2 scarlet koi from above turn out as a star quality grilled fish, it will sell for 300g. (The mixed one would be 177g.)
This is basically like getting a bonus fish worth of gold, when it happens!
Star quality results on the campfire are random chance modified by whether you are using starred ingredients (which still doesn't guarantee starred results) and possibly by your cooking level. (It seems to top out somewhere between 30 and 50% with unstarred ingredients.)
If grilling starred fish, the value does not increase if it turns out starred, because starred fish are already worth 1.5x the unstarred sell value. It is possible for the value to decrease - if you get an unstarred result.
example: two starred scarlet koi (100g base value, 150g starred) sell for 300g total. The grilled fish they make is worth 200g base value (100 + 100) or 300g if starred (200 x 1.5).
If you're aiming for profit, don't grill your starred fish! XD
Anyone have the celebration cake recipe and will help me make it
Can you make cheese, jugs of milk or bread in the game? I have seen loaves of bread in the festival area but I was wondering if we can make any of these?
Not sure how do I check
Not sure how to check for recipes in game so I don't know if you can make them or not. I have seen goat cheese can be made but all it says is pour milk in pot stove and stir but it doesn't let me do that. I also saw a legit Palia picture of a kitchen room full of cheese blocks but no idea on it.
You can make cheese and bread as part of a meal but they're not a meal by itself
Maybe at a higher level you can, but i haven't seen it yet
There’s no cheese
It’s made while cooking a dish you can’t make the cheese itself
Aww, that sucks
Maybe they’ll add it with the husbandry update
I was hoping to fill a shelf full of cheese, milk and bread in my kitchen. What is the Husbandry update?
Farm animals so the Ormuu and Peki
So we are getting farm animals, I thought it was a rumor.
It’s in the roadmap
Ohh, ok, I'll check it out
I kind of just assumed you only get the key after you complete it but if you get the key from the start I'm pretty sure you can just find the recipe book in the room at any time
for cooking parties...I don't actually need to bring the ingredients with me right...it just comes out of my storage whether its on me or not?
I cannot for the life of me get a cottonball flower or an elderwood lilac
Piksi bounce for the lilac is a bit random
But cottonball flower with server hopping to friends u can do 5 blooms between palian 1200-1600
Cottonballs are abit rare but u can grow more and the fully grown give seed and then hand in the fullygrown
Pretty sure it comes from storage
Correct. You can cook and even craft on a workbench on another person's plot without having to bring the items with you in your inventory. You can also access your regular storage and lockbox from the host's regular storage chests.
In some cases, like if you're doing a step that has a variable-ingredient selector ("any fish" or "any fruit" for example), you will need to have the thing you want to use in your bags, as the selector prioritizes items in your bags over stuff in storage. (There are also some other rules about how it looks for starred vs. unstarred items.)
For this reason, cake party hosts generally ask fruit frosters to put their apples in their bags (and not have any blueberries in their bags) so it will select the apples automatically.
The other reason to put your ingredients in your bags is so you can (first of all) double-check that you have enough for the party, and secondly, to help you keep count of the number of rounds. This not only helps you know when the party is finished, but also whether you have done your role each round.
Thank you!
As an aside, this recipe is the highest return you can get for flowtatoes, if you have excess
huh?
thanks
The dishes aren't listed in order on those pages, sadly, so you'll have to match up the silhouettes
3 green pearls + 1 regular pearl from one run from beachcomber bay to coral shores ?? okay sure
Does anyone have the recipes for the new bundle the oysters dish and the other one ? I don’t have them but just need them to finish off the bundle if anyone would be willing to cook with me
I need those as well. My cooking isnt high enough yet.
Anyone got tips fot fast leveling cooking (aside from joining partys)
Does anyone have the recipe for Muujin Bahari?
I want to cook it at home so I can have one
If you have a lot of pumpkins, I've been having a lot of luck with pumpkin pie since the event gives out so much spice sprout
Kitchen-cooked recipes give XP proportional to their number of minigame steps, so for solo cooking, they're all about the same (and more expensive/tedious the more complex they get).
Campfire cooking with a circle of 4-5 fires can get you 20 base XP (plus focus bonus) every 5 seconds as long as your ingredients hold out.
Make sure you are upgrading your focus bonus percentage at the Phoenix Shrine of course, and don't forget to eat!
The three wheat for the pastry dough on that one just kills me @_@
I don't think spice sprouts are the limiting factor there lol
Thnx for the detailed help
I'd be happy to help out with cooking. I have all the recipes. IGN is Celine Marie Martin. I'm pretty flexible on when I can jump on.
Added as Mighty Joxer, hope you can help me out with Spicy Honey-Baked Muujin recipe. I have mats ^^
Does anyone have the recipe for Spicy Honey-Baked Muujin need for a bundle that could help me cook it if possible
Does anyone have the festival recipes and is willing to form a cook party?
I also got a ton of wheat from farming
I run through my fish too quickly for this to work, and getting the materials for kitchen stuff is a lot more passive than fishing for hours
Yeah, it does depend in part on your play style, how you feel about the cooking minigames, etc.
I can get back on in about an hour. Others are welcome to join to cook
Finally got Reth's key to his storehouse room under the tavern and got the Tomato soup recipe. I'm trying to get as many recipes as I can so I can have the best food for focus and for profit.
I am on now if anyone else wants to cook
I can help if you still need it
Is the only way to get Creamy Mushroom Soup through friendship level 4 with Juni?
It’s in Hekla’s tent
Oh, like a secret recipe?
Kind of? Some recipes are in NPC’s rooms as a book or pieces of paper
Ah, good to know. Do you know if it's blocked by friendship level?
You would need the key to the tent so yes
Perfect, this is good to know, thanks Thumper!
Hey all! I'm fairly new. I'm just trying to finish the bundles and need the muujin barhari but only at level 12 cooking skill. Any advice? 🙂
Cooking parties are a great way to earn XP! (And money
) you’re probably able to find people here to help you cook it or in #1143270926394335282
It is
you’re more than welcome to go through everything at your own pace
the game is in no rush
i can help you cook it
I know I just so close to finishing it and wanna see what happens when I do lol.
Ohh I'd be so happy to have help yes please! & also how do we do that haha
whats your in game name? i'll add you as a friend and then you can come over to my plot using the blue board near your house gate
added you
Waiting for it to show up 🙂
Where can I get the basic dough and baguette recipes from please?
Thank you thank you Roy!!! Can't type in game isn't working lately
There are no recipes for those as a single item you make them when making certain foods
Thank you! I feel stupid LOL
No need to feel dumb
Does anyone have tips for leveling up cooking? It’s the lowest level out of all of mine.
#🍳│cooking-foraging message
some ideas!
Thank you!
Does anyone have any extra elderwood lilacs?
there isn't star quality bread, but there is a makeshift charcuterie board that you can fish up that has bread on a cutting board with jam!
does anyone know the best focus food to cook?
there's a few factors that play into this! what is your focus level and are you looking to cook solo or in a group?
solo, my focus atm is 525
i definitely recommend steak dinner then :)
Thank youuu!
Is there a way to select a mix of starred and not starred products for cooking/baking or is that a switch limitation. I'm new and don't want to waste my starred foregables but all my crops are already starred.
If you start a recipe starred, its going to auto choose the starred ingredients
put your starred forageables in your lockbox and then select "use starred ingredients" and it will use both starred crops and regular forageables!
whats the best dish to cook for profit
(solo and group? )
This post has some info about that (among other things, lol)

Are y'all crafting with all the sundrops foraged from the flower event or just selling them?
Selling most of them if I have a good stock already
Sell if I have over 300 cause I like having lots of bug bombs
Hello! I enjoy the cooking in game and like to do them between the events etc, but committing to the parties is just stressful... sometimes I just want to cook... cook and make money
So if I'm cooking solo, what is the most profitable thing for me to cook? Thank youu
I’ve been using this if you’re able to request the fish/like fishing it’s not bad

Amazing thank you so much! :3
I've done pretty much all of the furniture crafting that I might wanna do with the lilies, so if I have excess fur and clay to use up also, I make sneaky bombs and sell them.

grilling your unstarred common and uncommon fish (at least never loses money, has a chance to gain)
-
fish stew with all unstarred ingredients, and MAYBE other recipes that allow you to use NO bought ingredients or garden produce - but mostly these are not worth the time.
-
for some reason, spicy honey-baked muujin is worth much more than it should be, considering the ingredients (but it's also a long recipe)
but overall, solo cooking frequently runs the risk of losing you money
That's kind of a shame thank you for the info
Hi, me again! - with cooking if your in a party do they have to help you cook to get the meal - or can they just stand and still get the finished meal even though I have all the ingredients and can make the meal no probs?
They have to contribute in some way
Thank you again thumper! :3
In order to get credit for a recipe, you have to either be the one starting the recipe (after which you can just stand there lol) or complete at least one minigame step: chop, roll, mix, stir, flip, or pull a recipe ingredient OUT of the oven. Only adding ingredients to the pan/board/etc. will not count.
However, this doesn't necessarily mean being the one with the ingredients. If you have all the ingredients and want to share with a friend, you can start a minigame (e.g., chopping something on a prep station), then cancel out of the minigame (F on PC, the usual cancel button on controller). This leaves the ingredient on the station, which your friend can interact with, then complete the minigame to get credit.

https://paliaparty.app/k3efuk hosting tonight
are apple cakes worth more than blueberry cakes?
Yes, because the dish sell value is based on the unstarred sell values of the ingredients used (even if you use starred ones). Unstarred apples sell for more than unstarred blueberries (sold raw), so the dish will be worth more the more apples there are in it (out of the 3 "any fruit" ingredients)
thanks
open spots for carrots and mushrooms in my party tonight https://paliaparty.app/k3efuk
Is there a way to learn the Celebration Cake recipe without having to buy it?

Okay, thank you!

Sure, I just didn’t know if there was a specific step you want me to do or if we should just go with the flow
My IGN is the same as here, so anybody that needs help can add me and visit
Just go with the flow, I'm used to cooking it alone XD Just flip the pans if you don't have the ingredients
hey i've been on basically all the hills in bahari and i only found one briar daisy ... are they that rare? ^^'
You can try switching servers I usually find a bunch
how do i switxh server? ^^'
Stable to a different central stable
Basically, if you're in Kilima, go to your house or Bahari, and then back
dari clove, briar daisy. Easy mix up, they're spelt so closely ;P (I jest)
You can switch by syncing to a friend’s server if they’re also in Bahari or using the stable boards. Whenever you go into the loading screen you’re entering a new server
I found some thanks :))
I'm not sure if this is strictly true? The stable boards only take you to a new server if you leave to another zone (though you can travel to e.g., home and back, or Kilima and back) - if you travel within the zone, you stay on the same one.
Likewise, if you are only traveling to an instanced area like a villager's room, a temple, or the pirate cave, you also stay on the same server. (This is very useful for resetting fishing nodes xD)
Oh
I swear it always had the ‘new server’ message in chat after I’ve used them but maybe it was just when using them when travelling home/to a different map and I just assumed it was for all
It can be a little tricky to figure out just from experience!
I just plain avoided the stable boards until I had been playing for a long time (because I was too frugal lol), but I have had people wonder if it's OK to use the stable boards to try to get to (e.g.) the grove more quickly, since they were worried it would kick them to another server
That would suck if they did change your server lmao tries to teleport to grove and it changes to the opposite side of the map 😭
For the longest time I'd always run across the entirety of the map thinking if I fast traveled I'd be dumped in another server 😭🤣 Was low-key annoyed when I found out it didn't work like that 🫠
Anyone wanna do a cooking party?
Whatcha cookin?
is it possible to make a starred celebration cake solo?
Anything is possible solo so long as you have the cooking stations nearby and know how much to prep at 1 time
Is anyone available to help me make a muujin Bahari. I don’t have the recipe, but it’s the last one I need for the bundle 😭
I have the recipe but sadly don't have all the ingredients (was focusing on apples for too long) 🥲 I can buy most of them, but will still be missing the spicy pepper, unless you're able to provide that? 😊
I have all the ingredients!
Oh sweet! Ign is Selene Starstrider 😊
Friended you!
Accepted! Whose lot did you want to cook it on? I have no preference 😊
Ummm, either or. Mine is a work in progress, so if you don’t mind a mess lol
Same here 😂 keep meaning to decorate but never get around to it lol. Any plan for who will do what? If you can do the spicy pepper and muujin meat at least (they're the ones i have none of), I'm happy to do the rest 😊
That works!
Sweet! Will start now!
My game crashed! I’m frozen on stirring
If I leave will it kick you out lol
Did finishing it unstick you?
Yes, but I didn’t get anything LOL
Not taken it out yet, can you move? Or want me to take it out?
Oh YAY!
Sorry it's not star quality, saw you said you crashed and panicked a little 😅
Awesome! Returned to my plot now so you can turn it in and complete the bundle! 😁
Thanks again!
You're very welcome! Glad me finishing the recipe worked! If it hadn't I'd have been happy to go again anyway but saves wasting ingredients 😊
Question: has anyone tried overprepping on milk in bean burger recipes? I want to see if that’s possible or if it messes up the recipe result
Can anyone do a cooking party with me for the midsummer feast? I only have the celebration cake recipe
i've been in many parties where they allow milk OPs and it's totally fine!
hi do you still need? i can hop on and help you with the oysters akwinduu and honey baked muujin
Yes please!
what's your ign? add me pls im hopping on rn 😊
Added! Mine is Dai'ya Virelune
accepted! come over to my plot pls, im just tending to my garden then we can start cooking the dishes
I'm not sure how? I went to the blue board but I don't see your name there
okk im visiting your plot instead
The main risk is accidentally making an extra ketchup (because of UI jump), which CAN ruin the recipe if you don't have extra tomato, or accidentally taking the bean burger flip. Can't fully avoid the latter, but the folks on cheese locking up their vinegar avoids the former. If the burger flipper is also doing another role, then if the flip gets "stolen," no harm done.
Yeah I figure it’s best to avoid all that nonsense by exclusively allowing overprep on milk, no 2nd ketchup that way and no one else assigned to flipping - only one flipper
I’ll make sure to tell everyone to lock up their vinegar… didn’t think of that, thank you!!
Everyone on milk overprep that is
tomato over prep is actually a good idea in general with that recipe... my group of folks calls it the emotional support tomato LOL
if you have extra chopped tomatoes, then accidental extra ketchup doesn't hurt anything because it won't consume the raw chopped tomato needed for the recipe
I guess my concern is someone accidentally making a second ketcup… if there is an extra tomato lol
Oh!!
I thought a second ketchup ruins it no matter what
no, it's only if it uses the necessary raw tomato :) the prep table locks after all the prep table things have been made, so you can't chop an extra raw tomato if the only one you have gets used in the ketchup
I see I see,,, so technically cheese overprep is way riskier
yeah, if people don't lock up their vinegar
yes, you can buy them from the farm stand, but only unstarred of course
I will be providing starred beans, everyone else is likely using unstarred ingredients. Will it result in unstarred?
you must be hosting a bunch of very new players? once you get past a certain level of gardening, you cannot get unstarred crops lol
from your garden, anyway
(buying veggies is quite expensive)
Yeah, a lot of newer players and several veterans that might not stay on top of their crops lol
Hey, one question. Where do I get a cooking station? To make fish tacos. I have the stove, the prep station and the mixing station (I am playing in German so I don't know the English terms)
does anyone have the oyster akwinduu and muujin bahari recipes?
i need helping making them and can’t find a cooking party
What's a cooking party?
It’s good to have 2 of each station
Cooking station is just a second stove
For the tacos you will need a second prep station - one to hold the recipe assembly, one to do the chopping
a cooking party is a party when person host a cooking party with multiple other players who sign up for what they wanna to do like baker (oven free role, starter free role and more)
You basically cook with a bunch of people
That sounds cool
yes but the host will tell each player where to stand so they can find their station and spot sometimes some cooking parties are marked with colored rugs and plushies
?? I know that but basically a cooking party is just cooking a meal with a bunch of people
a meal shared roles
i’m just looking for help cooking them at least
at least the oyster akwinduu for the community board
How do I invite people to a cooking party?
Lemme see if I have the ingredients
You can post in #1143270926394335282 about the meal you wanna do and people can sign up or an easier way is using Paliaparty.app (it’s a website)
They can add you as a friend and join you on your plot
Thank you very much 🥰
Do you have the ingredients? Mostly wheat, butters, onions and spice sprouts
i don’t have any starred wheat but i have everything yeah
Oh I have everything starred just bought some butter
Did you need Muujin Bahari or spicy honey baked muujin?
the muujin bahari
Awesome my plot should be open or I can join yours
any cooking going on
Anyone available to talk about cooking parties? I don't want to clog up the channel with questions.
Or does anyone have recommendations on solo cooking? At level 4 and trying to get to 20 for the vault of the night dishes.
Anyone hosting a cooking party soon?
Parties posted almost hourly on the palia party app
Huh. I’m pretty sure flower event doesn’t despawn based on clock, it is time since flower is sprouted and picked
Yes since picked
Because I just found drossweed under a rock at i4, then sprouted and picked the flower, when event was at d6 😂
So I’m making a cooking plot in hopes that I can host cooking parties and was wondering if Celebration cakes, Muujin Bahari and Poke bowls are the only dishes worth making for money or are there any others I should prep for?
Fish dishes but with maws or epic fishes
Poke bowl is a fish dish and makes the most money out of them
yeay but pokebowl takes way longer to make
and poeple aren tthat fond of the cutting minigame for overprepping it
You don’t need overprep though
cooking partys do overprep but i gues urs have smaller attendence then
I don’t host them atm I’m making the plot
oh ok yeay like if ur not doing the massive ones with way more poeple then steps u dont do overprep i gues so u wont need to have stations for that
would someone be willing to help me cook the food for the billboard event? i dont have one of them unlocked due to having Eshe at only friendship lvl 2
if you could help send me a dm please
Can someone come cook with me for the weekly achievement?
Thanks!
Is anyone available with the Spicy Honey-Baked Muujin recipe that could help me complete the bundle
Question -- I'm doing a dog house in game, and I wanted to put down something that looks as close to water/milk as possible. What recipe would anyone recommend? I'm only lvl 9 cooking btw. xD
congee!
will sushi made with only rare fish make more money than common ones ?
prob a dumb question i js wanna be sure
i think with any common and uncommon fishes
huh
i can be wrong
Dish sell value is based on the total of the unstarred sell values of all the ingredients, so: yes
See more about the formulas and also calculators here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CqV_SHjfqaYcGcfqg4aVp21tYZACUDNMHYkTo9Wyu-8/edit?gid=1661017249#gid=1661017249
or this chart by Sennel Deuragonov
#🍳│cooking-foraging message
See above :D
tysm!!!
Do note that it is not the RARITY but the SELL VALUE that determines it... ancient koi are a "rare" fish but sell for less than some uncommon glow worm fish!
Hey, I got a ton of muujin meat, and I'm looking for the best use of it, what do you think I should do with it ?
make glow worms
Thanks !
What would be the best dish for focus please ? In term of loosing the lowest amount of gold ?
you dont lose gold when you cook im confused
as for focus points a bean burger gives 800 and its farely easy to make
Do you mean like losing money on the ingredients?
depends if u want most focus per coin value
or most focus per actual cost
Yes loosing money on the ingredients
For exemple for the bean burger, I use the beans to make cans and put em in the worm factory
What's the difference sorry
well for example if theres an expensive dish to make but i overprep with cheap ingredients do u count the dish value or the time spent cooking it + the ingredient value
i do recommend counting the effort+ingredient cost though
or if u ment just hte cheapest item as gold/focus which is candy eggs but thats not that usefull XD
Has analysis by focus per gold eaten and focus per ingredient opportunity costs
(for solo cooks - focus food party math is something else)
But is is only the raw gold value or the best gold value ? Like for the beans, would it be the gold I could've sell the beans or the gold I could've make by putting it in a can, putting the can in the worm factory, and selling the output ?
dishes are more or less the same focus per gold but yeay 1k+ focus dishes
jarred stuff is more expensive sale vlaue /focus
or buy of reth is most expensive gold/focus
but the latter 2 options are 0 effort so u might spend ur time doing epic fish dish partys instead im not sure if thats superior
anyways cnady eggs always best
I think this is really helpful, but is it up to date ? Everytime I encounter a super useful sheet like this, it's always outdated
if only candy eggs werent so limited XD but yeay i do eat mine they just odn tlast that long
my other go toos are overprepping cake and eating all of em including starred
i did try stir fry rice onece maybe i shoudl try some more dishes to
ren is sernuk noodle stew with T... a good dish?
ty for posting that here sadly i cannot participate at 03:00
It is my spreadsheet and it is as up to date as I can make it. Yes, it uses opportunity costs (i.e., what else you could have done with the beans or whatever to make money other than cooking with it) - though my assumptions are seeding the beans, as bean -> can -> worms did not seem practical by my reckoning, since they make quality up fert and clog the machine too fast
You can check the opportunity costs table at the bottom of the sheet if you are curious
Uhhhh good in what way
focus per effort
Hi! Would anyone be able to cook Muujin Bahari with me?
They're 337 starred, same as steak dinner, but require specific meat, onion, carrot, wheat iirc? A friend of mine likes it because it's all chopping, rolling, and stove stirs - so only 2 stations I think
More autopilot than steak dinner, he says
If it would use any meat, maybe could be recommendable, but it kinda takes up a lot of garden space
oh and spice sprouts
ah ic ic its not a good just one step overprep dish then ty ren
For the effort and mats I like meaty stir fry better, but for parties it is annoying due to the long prep table carousel
but then again - pan fried dumplings even easier
how much focus are those?
Meaty stir fry and pan fried dumplings are both 250/375⭐
mh i was more thinmking in the range of 600-1k+
if anyone is interested we are doing a short fast 30x cake party at my plot!
OMG i only jsut see this im VERY interested
there is still time to sign up, I put up the partry link in #1143270926394335282
Hi! I was wondering if someone could help me obtain Muujin Bahai for the vault, it’s the last item i need . If anyone can that would be amazing
For focus per effort/time, it's hard to beat soon tofu, but it's kind of expensive per focus.
Starts with egg, plus chopped/rolled: onion, pepper, beans, garlic, and cooked rice. Prep, throw in the pan, stir. 400/600⭐.
6 people in a party is easier than 8 for spicy crab fried rice, and it doesn't require any crab or chopping green onion
SOON TOFU got it
Pumpkin curry and rice? Or bean burgers? Would not that be better and cheaper for focus?
Pumpkin curry would be okay if it didn't require heat root, which is better used elsewhere (sushi, poke), and pumpkins are VERY slow-growing.
Bean burgers require three vinegar (600g) per round and their focus per gold eaten is abysmal. Worse than cakes.
They're faster than cakes, though, and ask for mostly buyable or easily grown ingredients, though, so they're convenient that way. Smaller group needed, too.
I mean true 🤔 Just thought about cooking parties. Thats why. If you make it solo. Then i completely get soon tofu is the way to go.
Soon tofu is pretty ideal in groups as well, since it's so lightning-fast. 25 second rounds.
i only care about how long it takes and how expensive the overprep is XD and uhm the rest is the hosts issue but that will probs affect me to
Burgers might be reasonable for you, then, DS, and burgers always benefit from tomato OP (I call it the emotional support tomato since it prevents accidentally failing the recipe)
alternatively there's garlic
I am sitting on over 300 beans and close to 150 pumpkins 😅 so for me that is not an issue at all.
Hahaha thats adorable! Emotional support tomatoes 🥹
Enough for one 100-round bean burger party, nice
its a shame pumps arent better i love those orange orb things that gron on the ground from plants never ate any thoughj
Yeah. I gotta join someone soon and get rid of most of them. Cus they are clogging up my box 😅
not soon curry
LOL
soon tofu and later curry
0.2 pumpkins per tile per growth tick...
(WITH harvest boost)
3/harvest * 4 harvests / 15 growth ticks / 4 tiles
its crazy cuz irl pumjpkins are so massive
I wonder how many pumpkins you get out of one vine IRL, if you're not trying to grow state fair championship ones...
3 or osmething but might aswell go for gigantous pumpkin
Gigantic pumpkins don't taste very good, though XD
stringy...
but u can make carriages out of em
Can anyone help me with muujin bahari? I should have all the ingredients
I can do that later. Like 6 - 7h or something. If you didnt get help before that cus i do need some sleep. And no worries, if you do come over to me. I have more than enough to use all my ingrediens
Yes thank you that would be great 😊
No worries at all! I do appreciate you will help me get some space in my chest tho 😅 I will just tag you whenever i am awake. And then we can do it w/e you are rdy. So no stress from my part
any cooking parties going on this morning? i dont want to cook alone
Hi, I have question to take a stared Celebration Cake do i need to have all ingredients stared ?
no but it does help. speed of completion and no mistakes while cooking up the odds for starred as well
Ohh ty

is chubbybaby somewhere around here i need her
anyone have the muujin bahari recipe that can help me and my party member make a starred one, we have the ingredients
I have the recipe if you still need it.
yes please, ill add you, my ign is MeekLovin
Alright come on over
is it possible to do it at my house? so my party member can get it too?
Yeah sure coming over
@vestal igloo cakes take ~1min each in a good party so 100 would be 100 min, def block out 2hrs to account for startup tho
thank you 🙂 ill look into some first thing in the morning
anyone else finding briar daises a pain in the neck ?
idk if i'm looking in the wrong places, but they seem to barely pop up
they areo only on top of those cliffs
do they spawn rarely ?
no commonly
i must be bad at looking, i find them on cliffs very rarely
they are limited in where they spawnb though
i knoww i always look in the right spots it seems
for example this elevated area with cliffs that green elevated part is where they can spawn not below
so they can spawn on all elevated areas (if u gotto go up a cliff or something though in this case the northern side u can just walk up but its still elevated
okay i thought it was only big cliffs, thanks !
Anyone have a starred flowtato and want to make starred flowtato fries with ketchup? It's the last recipe I need for achievement
Are cooking parties the only way to level cooking skill up faster? I’ve not done any before and struggling to grind this one
It took me months to get to level 12 on my own, I just did 6 cooking parties today for the first time and now Im level 33, so to my knowledge unfortunately yes
Does anyone have the recipe for Oysters Akuwandu (probably spelled wrong) I need it for the bundle! I have some ingredients to bring too
I want to say I have that but let me double check. So many recipes I can’t remember if I have them all.
I have the recipe!
Thank you, perhaps I will look into joining one then!
still need it?
Someone helped us, thank you though i appreciate it.
Ye ofc ofc! Happy it worked out for ya!
The next-best way is campfire cooking with a circle of 4-5 fires, but it's a far second place to cooking parties (of which cakes are the fastest)
Hadn’t even thought of trying this! I will give this a go also. Thank you
For solo kitchen cooking, sure, some recipes give more XP (because they give 20 base XP per minigame step, for the most part), but since you have to do all the steps yourself, one after the other, they also take proportionally longer.
Oysters Akwinduu; I use all my ⭐ ingredients except for tomato and oyster meat because I dont have it ...... I didnt get a Quality meal .. why 🫠
Hard to beat 5s for 20 base XP though XD
because starred ingredients don't guarantee star results - there is a strong element of RNG.
The other factors are speed of completion, probably cooking level of participants, and maaaaybe cooking minigame accuracy, but it's hard to tease that apart from the time factor
But, if it makes you feel any better, the base star rate with all unstarred stuff is about 50% once you get to higher levels
Now im out of starred heat root 🙃
so, however many coinflips it takes you to get heads
That's fine, use unstarred.
To make it easier, have someone else split the steps with you
I need starred to complete the bulletin bundle :c
I tried to make another one, still not starred.. oh well 💀
I have over 600 hours in Palia but omg I hate cooking 🥲 im still only lvl 11 aaah 🫠
Question, it says i need a cooking station to make something. But i have all the stations?
Some recipes you need for exemple 2 oven
You need 2 of each station
it didnt say which type, just 2 everything?
Yes
thats alot :[
I’m guessing you need a 2nd oven from that pic
This is because you can't do a prep step on the station that the recipe is started from. In the case of poke, it starts on a mixing station (obviously) but also has several steps that need a mixing station. So, since your singular mixing station would be busy holding the recipe assembly and managing the timer and all that, you wouldn't be able to complete it without a second one.
Is there anyone that can help me make muujin bahari for the bundles?
gotcha ☺️
Can anybody help me with muujin bahari?
@crisp abyss @unreal cedar im feeling charitable today
@teal oyster are you available now?
yeay but lets wait abit to give othelia time to respond
1more min after that its orthelias fault for cxlosing discord
hoppin on
Ok my game name is emera thorn
ok my plot
Thank you!!
I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, I am a somewhat newish player. I’m really struggling on cooking and keeping enough food in my inventory to keep my focus up. I’ve read about cooking parties and want to try one. But I don’t know how to find one and I’m also worried I’ll mess it up for everyone. Can anyone help me out?
Hey, I just started doing cooking parties today myself!! They're way easier than I thoughts they would be.
Theres a website that helps organize them you can find it here
https://paliaparty.app/?selectedTab=public-parties
It will show you what you need to bring, there are even roles where you don't have to bring anything and you can just mix to help out new players.
All of the parties are super welcoming that Ive been to today
You only have to do one role while cooking, but you all get full rewards
A lot of them will have the tag beginner friendly, and it gives you an estimate on a start time as well in the tags
I want to do a cooking party so badly but I am scared I am going to mess up something
Thank you so much! That is very helpful. I made an account and have looked at a couple of them. I’m trying to find one that has a basic job for me to try out first. So to do a cooking party do I have to go to the other persons housing plot? How do I do that? I am also worried I’m going to mess something up and ruin it for everyone 😅
What recipes help you level up fast, im only on level 8 for cooking and it's taking ages to level up.
if you're open to group cooking i definitely recommend joining a cooking party, but if not personally i recommend either just mass cooking your preferred focus food to stock up, and/or doing the campfire method by putting 4-5 campfires in a circle and standing in the center while rotating to collect the dishes
I've tried asking to be invited but I never get invited to cooking parties
So I 'm trying to unlock the recipe for Trout Dinner. I completed the quest I was told would unlock it but I still don't have it
Is there a certain food that is best for keeping your focus up? I’ve been doing vegetable soup. I’m only at cooking level 6 so far.
Have you taken a look in #1143270926394335282 ?
I have but most of them are times I'm not on, living in Australia and having different time zones to most parties make it hard
you can try having a look at paliaparty.app (a website), it shows different upcoming parties where you can sign up for different roles
Have u read the recipe book in Einar's cave? Recipes are usually found in the npc's room as a book
Thank you, might have a look
Oh I didn't see it before. Thank you!
Joining cooking parties for burgers/cakes would supply you with more focus food than you need
Vegetable soup used to be my go-to as well before I started joining parties, but I've heard cooking steak dinners(?) with 4-5 campfires is a good way to make focus food
You can also refer to this doc if you want:
#🍳│cooking-foraging message
Ahaha, I think some signals got crossed, understandably... steak dinner is cooked in a full kitchen. Grilled foods (fish, meat, mushrooms) are recommended for fast XP grinding, but are honestly pretty terrible for focus except for very, very early on
What does this buff mean when I'm out fishing? (the third one there)
It means you are standing in slime and slowed :)
Or an ogopuu has spat at you
Sometimes an ogopuu gets stuck under that one big rock on the far southern bit of the coast next to De Mer and likes to bleat and spit at fishers xD
I'm standing on the dock and I get it very briefly every now and again
Yeah, probably ogopuu spit, then...
Won't hurt your fishing! Not like you need to run fast for that 😂
Look for a mixing role, those are easiest! You'll only have to do it one time per recipe. And there are mixing roles that don't require ingredients that are perfect for beginners! Don't worry about messing anything up, I definitely did a few times and everyone was so kind and helpful! Just let them know youre new in chat if youre able.
Lastly to go to their plot, you'll add them as a friend usually atleast 15 minutes before start time but many people specify the time.
Once they accept the friend request you'll walk up to the blue board to the right of the kilma entrance on your plot. You can find them under the friends tab and there will be a button to head to their plot 🙂
If you have anymore questions Im happy to help, I was suppperrr overwhelmed before I started doing them but they're way easier than I thought they'd be
is there a specific place/area that's good for finding garlic ?? i need a bunch for fish stew
garlic is a pain to find, an alternative much easier way is to purchase lots of garlic from zeki's store
okay ty!! i think i’ll just do that then lol
If you DO want to also gather it, then southern Bahari is good. Make sure you pick the lilies, too, as they share spawn points with garlic. The garden ladybugs that pop out also have a (low) chance to drop a plush :D

other than bean burgers, what other food can you use for cooking parties?
For profit or focus?
profit
Anyone want to cut trees with me?
This list is pre-EW, but burgers were really the only profit food to come out of the expansion (and I don't care for them much despite their speed, because they CAN fail completely due to a ketchup oopsie, and vinegar contributes only half its purchase cost to the sell value, so it's a very poor return for those roles)
ohhh thank youuu
Sushi has also gotten more popular for assorted mid-tier epics and sometimes even for top-tier fish, because stirring rice/mixing sweet leaf is very easy for console players and also much faster/easier than chopping or rolling like is required for poke, fish stew, or (urgh) tacos.
Sashimi is also very very popular, and easy to rotate fish choppers to split up the fish contribution
I usually cook solo, so i'd like to ask:
- Whats the best focus food to make and stock up on?
- Whats the best exp food for leveling up cooking? (Im currently forever level 14)
What’s your focus cap currently?
the best focus food depends on your focus level, and the easiest way to level up solo is to either just cook your preferred focus food repeatedly to stock up, or to put 4-5 campfires in a circle and stand in the center while rotating to collect the dishes
1000 currently
I think most people use burgers at that point?
nah he said solo cooking so thats a faster one
Would anyone be able to cook with me who has the muujin and oyster recipes for the bulletin board bundle?
is anyone able to gift me some vinegar please? 🙂
Don't be, really. It's like normal cooking on ur own, but instead of doing all the steps, u just have to do one of em. Sometimes it gets a bit confusing for new peeps when they don't know exactly which step they are making, but its very normal that when a party starts people make a couple mistakes here and there. Takes a few tries to fall into a rhythm, no matter if its full of veterans or newbies alike
50 cakes! Need sweetleaf and a fruit froster
ISO help to get Muujin Bahari for the Night Sky Temple bundle
ok but what does the international standards organisation have to do with it
i can help ya
@haughty sun
kk, I'm on rn and I think we are friends already
which cooking parties are the most profitable?
mawshimi mawsbowl mawshi mawstacos mawsstew
HOLYYYY MOLYYYY thats ALOTTT
TIL that there is a gold cap
its either 1million or 999.999
999,999 😅
I just got called poor 21 times 😂 😂
I have a question, for those cooking parties, do you need to bring mats?
only for one step times the amount of dishes u wanna do
When cooking on someone else's plot, steps you do will pull from your own bags/storage unless someone places the ingredient for you (which isn't typical), so if you sign up for a role that needs an ingredient, yes, you need enough stuff to cover that role once every time the party cooks the recipe. Some steps don't require ingredients though, like oven and spread (jellied cake layer) at a cake party.
i put ingredients in my inventory to count the amount of round we have done and how many left to go
You don't need to have the ingredients in your bag to use them, but as DS said, it helps with keeping count :)
Ok, tyty! ❤️
storage or inventory and sometimes u have to lockbox stuff thats not ure step so u dont do someone elses step for example or stuff like that
Yeah, lol, there are some nuances to inventory management - be sure to read the party description and/or ask the host for any special instructions or tips.
I just got the sushi recipe 🎉🎉
🎉
Any cooking parties?
Anyone have the sushi recipe and want to cook tomorrow, you can pick the time since i picked the recipe and date lol
What food do yall be using for your focus
What's the best recipe to up your levels? Cooking is my lowest (11 I think) and I wanna get it up a bit
this depends on your focus level!
the easiest way to level up solo is to either just cook your preferred focus food repeatedly to stock up, or to put 4-5 campfires in a circle and stand in the center while rotating to collect the dishes! but if you're open to group cooking then definitely join a cooking party!
Like my max focus?
Im at 800 focus rn I think
I have done the campfire method and it just gets boring lol. Maybe cooking parties is the way to go, thanks!
personally i would probably stick with steak dinner until you reach 1000! Ren also has a doc with more info :) #🍳│cooking-foraging message
i definitely recommend starting with a cake party as the wiki has a guide and there's some free roles that let you get the hang of things :) https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Guide:Cake_Party
does anyone know what meat or ingredient causes pumpkin stew to be worth 214 gold? i was able to get it at the price but couldn't remember what ingredients caused it to be so high because I haven't been able to get it that high again
Maybe vampire crab? Let me double check
That sounds very high, though, since the pumpkin doesn't count
nah didn't work, is it ogopuu meat?
Yeah vamps would be 144g starred
No, ogopuu meat is fish, and only worth 16g anyway (same as sernuk/muujin)
i can't figure out how i got it to be 214
was it a quest reward, by any chance?
ooh you might be right!
it's weird on some sites it says it's worth 214 gold, but i haven't gotten it that high recently even star quality
But, unfortunately, it's not possible to get that value through cooking, because chopped pumpkin is bugged
ook
so it counts 0 toward the dish sell value, same as chopped: kopaa nuts, bok choy, cabbage, green onion, and ginger
wth
Which is a shame, since pumpkins are 88g base gold value and SHOULD make very valuable dishes
Imagine dishes with vamps and pumpkins if the pumpkins actually worked...
i have a ton of vamp crabs so trying to see if i can use it for other dishes
Try out EW pie maybe
Next-best is oysters akwinduu, at least in terms of dish sell value
chili oil dumplings with vamps and flowtatoes, after that (they count as the "any vegetable")
EW pie with chopped vampire crab is 211g starred
yeah i've used in mushroom dumpling soup... i gotta try with ew pie
Check the Crabs sheet here :)

you're my hero ren!!!
Anybody know where I should concentrate my efforts for dragon's beard peat moss?
Here's a map of general spawn areas! F6 and G6 tend to have a particularly high concentration of it.
It likes to hide in the foliage, especially in the southern end of its range (which tends to be mostly ground-level, not up on cliffs like the rest), so if you have the option to turn the foliage down or off and your game sound UP so you can hear its weird gurgling noise, that can help.
It also shows up on a dowsing rod.
Thank you!
is someone doing a cooking party?
hey i was wondering when you are cooking certain dishes. it will freeze up? like it wont let you chop or roll or stir sometimes?
i would also like to do a cooking party!
That happens! Holding like the hoe, watering can, etc before you start the recipe tends to help also getting rid of the cooking animation
how do i get rid of cooking animation?
It'll be under settings- gameplay- cinematic cooking camera
thank you. swithing the equipment seemed to help
I have just gotten the presereve crafters whats the best fruit/crop or veggie to put in to get the best gold
Does anyone have the Muujin Bahari recipe and want to help me out? 😊
i can
I have chopped chapaa meat that I can’t get out of my inventory. Is it supposed to be for someone??
Thank you! I just had someone help me 🙂
anything u can thats not beans bokchoi or potato
Does anyone wanna cook and voice chat on discord??
Oh, yeah, from that one quest... no known use at this time. Can't give it to anybody, can't use it in a recipe that needs it, maybe can't even sell it? I think all you can do is either store it or destroy it.
Apples for preserves
Have you finished the quest A Catalyzing Caper? I think its meant to be used when cooking with sifuu
Dumb question, what are the most common overprepps in cake parties yall would say? Working on a plot but Im starting small with cake related section.. but I hate uneven stations. 🤣
I don’t think cake parties have overprep except for sweet leaf
Thats the mixing station right?
hey is there someone who would help me with the Chapaa Masala and the PhoenixRelleno for the sear chef bundle?
Hello, I have been hosting some bugs parties on my stream ( I started streaming a month ago) and I really enjoyed it! I would love to host a cooking party and I am wondering how many cooking stations should I get on my plot, any advice to host my first cooking party ☺️
where can i find the elder flower ? i know it's very rare, does it spawn in a specific area of elderwood ?
Not sure of specific spawns but I found one on the side of the tall trees you climb up, i found it just after one of those jumping event things
thank you so much!
Around deep woods stables
Way high up in the trees
Hi everyone
Is there anyone who can help me and my partner with a couple of recipes tonight
We need the muujin bahari recipe and the trout dinner
We’d be so grateful
Will he online tonight at around 8pm uk time
Hey guys, what food gives the most xp when cooked?
depends on the recipe, palia party app is often used for planning and it will show which stations you need for each recipe. my setup has 12 prep stations, four mixing, four stoves, and four ovens (you don't need that many ovens). i normally do parties where there's a lot of prep but if you wanted to host, for example, a sashimi party, you'd need a lot more stoves.
Thank you ! I will go check on the palia party app to have an idea 🙂
Hi everyone

I've heard complaining on the Discord can convince the RNG gods to be kind, so here goes.
From 22 oysters yesterday, I got 2 green pearls and 3 regular. Meanwhile I have opened OVER 350 Elder Clams and have gotten only one of the three black pearls that I need.
The drop rate on black pearls is about a third of the drop rate on green pearls, unfortunately... and you were VERY lucky with those oysters yesterday, damn, lol
And unlucky with the black pearls...
May your pearl luck smooth out soon!
wut meanwhile i gotten so many blackpearls i even gifted alot to others ...
anyways complaining works best for fishies for some reason
I can't seem to get star candied kopaa nuts even though I'm using star ingredients. What could I be doing wrong? Does getting star have anything to do with how fast you cook it? It's such a simple recipe, not sure what I could be doing wrong 😆
Yes, there is an unavoidable element of RNG. It always took me a few tries even cooking in a group, but the factors are probably...
- proportion of starred ingredients weighted by base sell value
- speed of completion
- probably cooking level of participants
- maaaybe cooking minigame accuracy? (hard to tease apart from speed of completion)
The salt and milk can't be starred, so even if you're using starred nuts, sweet leaf, and honey, you max out at 77% starred ingredients (which is NOT the same as 77% star rate... the star rate for all-unstarred ingredients seems to be about 50% at higher cooking levels)
Is ayone be willing to help me cook oysters akwinduu?
So....is there a file or does the wiki explain cooking parties....cuz i REALLY need to upgrade my storage and the prices of the recipes are super high.....
I belive for cooking parties as long as one person has the recipie amd starts it, everyone can work on it.
So does everyone bring a recipe ingredient or you just show up?
The cooking parties I have done, everyone brings some ingredients / what they have based on level. Its really a group effort 😊
Gotcha gotcha
here's a cake party guide and it's pretty applicable to most other parties just switch the steps of course! also paliaparty.app can help as well! https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Guide:Cake_Party
and in this message i explain them a bit more #🍳│cooking-foraging message
Thank you so much! New to the wiki and didn't wanna get lost
Well read thru it...sounds like a cluster but as long as people just do their part it goes by kinda fast?
pretty much! you sign up for your role and just do it repeatedly until everything is done :) i definitely recommend signing up for a free role at a beginner cake party to start!
I found it!
paliaparty.app (on web) or in #1143270926394335282 :)
Thank you very much i made a post thingy on parties 🙂
hosting tonight if you'd like to join
This may be a silly question, and I hope this is the right place to ask. I was wondering if you don't have a recipe for something..for example Eleroo Eel. If someone else had that recipe would you be able to aquire the item without having the recipe that way? Or does it not work that way...again sorry if it's a silly question..I'm newer to the game and still trying to figure everything out haha.
Oh okay! Thanks so much for explaining that! I'll keep trying! ❤️
Well, the eleroo eel is a fish that you catch, and not something you cook with a recipe, so it doesn't apply to that item specifically...
But, in general, yes, if someone who has the recipe can start it for you, as long as you participate in at least one minigame step, you will also get a copy of the food.
This only works for cooking, though, not furniture crafting (which is always solo), and also doesn't apply to campfire recipes (which only have one step, and that IS starting the recipe lol)
Tysm!
This is a foraging rant- I've opened over 500 elder calms, gold star or normal. NOT one black pearl Smh I'm getting so upset by this 😭 any tips on how to get this un-gettable pearl?
Pray to the RNG gods I opened probably around the same or more and finally found one
Unfortunately, it's just to do what you're doing :(
If gathering them by hand is getting tiresome, shmole hunting in a group can rack them up pretty quickly.
From the mind-game side of things, I'd recommend letting them stack up a bit before you open them, instead of opening them one at a time. Our brains don't do very well at separating out emotional experiences that are very close together. If you string together opening 30 clams all at once, then they feel like one combined thing, while spacing them out will feel like 30 individual experiences. 30 experiences of "maybe this time? aw." is a lot more emotional fatigue than spamming a button 30 times and looking at the results all together.
anyone have 1 starred sweetleaf? and can come help me make one starred blueberry pie real quick??
can anyone help me and 1 other cook a starred spicy honey-baked muujin for the midsummer feast bullitein board?
I can help u with that

Hi guys, is there anyone that can help me cook spicy honey baked muujin? I don’t have the recipe yet and it’s the last thing I need for the bundle 😭
Ooh I can. Are you still around? And I can't cook oysters awkinduu yet...could you help with that?
Or, if anyone can help me make a starred oysters awkinduu I'd really appreciate it! It's the last thing I'm missing
anyone interested in a cooking party?
i have the oysters but not the mujin
the recipes and im about to sign on if anyone wants to trade
i totally am
i can help i have the oyster recipe but not the mujin
What is the easiest recipe for focus please?
there are details guides online but the easiest would probably be grilled fish/meat on the campfire. Generally the more complex you get the more focus you get, that doesn't work with everything but the higher focus foods are pretty intense. I make a lot of fish stew for fishing and you literally just chop some garlic and stir but its only 100 focus I think.
Anything with just meat and foragables please?
fish stew takes fish any spice and garlic which is all collectable and gives you 150 focus
my name in game is Trinaia Loire ill cook just about anything want to level and make some money 😄
im in my house cooking if anyone wants to visit and join in for free exp and company/vibes
anyone doing some focus food cooking today? I didn’t see anything on the Palia party site
Maybe cooking potato soup and stuffed cabbage rolls for focus.
I don't really cook enough for profit
i usually do chili since starred gives about 1000 focus
I don't think I have my focus bar up that high yet.
I posted in #💬│lfg-chat message but can anyone with the recipe help me get a starred honey muujin for the bundle? 😅
I am also here to see if anyone would help me cook the spicy honey-baked muujin & oysters akwinduu. I have all the ingredients if someone can just like start the recipe for me? I think that’s how that works? lol
Are you potentially available to cook with me and maybe have a honey or two in case we don't get started from first try?
Maybe the three of us could work together @tulip cipher and @lilac pumice 👀
I don’t have the oyster one but u can both come and cook the honey baked
I would love that!
My ign is Jules300
I have some extra honey
I think I have the oyster recipe
Do I add two? Or the other way around?
I added you Julie
I’ll add u
Can come to your plot now?
Yes I’m here
I’ll grab some extra honey and come over, anything else u might need Alie?
Awesome! 🥰 I have no idea what is needed for the oyster recipe 😅
I have everything here as well
This is from the wiki
I think I’ve got that stuff I’m a hoarder
Okay perf, I have my own as well so I’ll come nowwww
Woo!! 🥰
Cool!
Start with honey muujin? 👀
just so y'all know the star rate for oysters akwinduu is lower so make sure you're prepared for a couple rounds!
Should we start with Nikon?
Lol Muujin yes
Yeah! Muujin is good
Ok here we go
Didn’t know, Ty!!
i've had to do it at least 3-4 times each time i've helped people and just want there to be warning
Yaaayyy we got the starred!!
