Hello, I have a question about the candy corn. I tried to get some by dropping honey lures and hunting draugr beetles but 3 lures in I got no candies. I have gotten candies just picking off random bugs, though. Is it possible to get candies from draugr beetles? Could just be my luck, so I wanted to check with others.

Yep currently loot sharing is bugged but the devs said it's high priority for them to fix. There's lots of people putting down lures rn so it's easy to finish your bundle even if you don't use any of yours

The lures spawn a CRAZY amount of frogs compared to a typical lure so it's easy for everyone to get frogs even without loot sharing, and the starred frogs aren't super rare in them either

They tend to do different things standard, sneaky and sticky. I don't even use the standard anymore tbh. Sneaky are good, sticky are even better.
But that being said, some bugs will still take more than one hit many will still require a few tries just not as many as standard requires.

Assuming ur talking about the cerulean cicada, no excluding the smoke candle which I personally find has a negative effect on finding these no items in the game have an effect on tracking or summoning these bugs just run around trees and bahari the forests up top from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. everyday and start praying to every God whether you believe in them or not that you eventually find more than three in a day because I'm dead serious when I say this I have never found more than three cerulean cicadas in a single day

If you don’t see anything on your jar when you port in you’re probably better off porting back out of bahari and back in for a new server, usually at least a few pop up in that area at 3am

It was likely because you spooked them. Running around near insects can spook/alarm them and then if someone captures them you get the loot too

To get mine for achievement a while back I went on a chopping spree in south Bahari just going on a loop in the little field in front of lighthouse bridge. 1st time I did that I got 11 andcient beetles in 20 minutes and the secound time I got 8 in just as much time, including 2 starred ones. I recommend using smoke candles so the beetles don't get spooked once the tree is chopped.

An alternative to using a lure is to just server hop. Scout around in the area it spawns. If you can't find one, use the nearby gate to Bahari Bay and come back. Keep doing that until one spawns. It's not absolutely guaranteed, but I've caught a few doing that.

A tip for the Duskwing - I found server hopping helped me. Look around the Hollow. If there isn't one, run up to the gate for Bahari Bay and go through. Come back and you should be on a different server. Have another look. Keep doing that until you see one. More often than not, I've got a Duskwing after a few times of doing that.

well unles u need aton of em chgopping is quiet effective and u can use hte wood for blueprints and crafcting decor stuff like fences and builder blocks stockpiles

Ah that's nice, so if you found a grove one, you can get rid of the regular shake, right?

If you spot a regular spawned RTB for example, you can let it live (this is your milkshake) and put down lures on a different spot. The chances are higher then that more RTBs spawn in the lure as long as your naturally spawned RTB stays alive

It is pretty difficult to practice this alone or with a small group as chances are high that the milkshake gets spooked by randoms. That's why this method mostly gets done with a big party or server takeover for best results

Depends on how many rockhoppers you catch but in general I think you make more from using the lures vs selling them. Unless you factor in the cost to make the smoke bombs then probably just the lure is worth more. But ignoring that, I catch consistently 30+ rockhoppers and 5 or so starred ones each time. So there is a few hundred gold of profit but nothing life-changing

Bug jars around the south side of bahari is your best bet! I just used one now and found an unstarred one, I'll call you and @tacit seal over if I find a starred one! If either of you like, I'm happy to party up ☺️ I have 40 bug jars I can either gift you or use!
