I’m curious to know if they reappear when you pick them up and place them down again. I had truly invisible shelves. They were actually still there and if I aimed correctly I could pick them up and move them around. The stuff that was on them stayed but I couldn’t put new stuff on them. And they were invisible to me even on other people’s plots.

hello friends! I have a decor question for anyone that has played during the past winter events. I started playing in like febuary ish. I see that the 3 different string light recipes are now in the city hall that I can buy with kilima coins. According to the palia wiki, those 3 string light recipes are part of the winter decor. My question is, will the winter recipes become available again during the winter event? Like if I am playing later this year during the winter event, do you think I will have the chance to get the past winter decor, and in theory those 3 string lights recipes? Sorry for the long question if anybody happens to know the answer. Trying to debate if I should buy one of the floorings available rn or one of those string light recipes.

So far, the winterlights decor from previous years had appeared again, last year even with new additions, that said, the string lights were a board reward and not from the store, similarly the spectral blossoms were unlocked through the board bundles, I suppose that's why they're in that store now

how do the homeline things work? I tried looking for it on the wiki but it doesn't seem to have it. I got the estate homeline and I had a tutorial thing popup but, it didn't say where to get them or what other homelines are available, so I'm a bit lost

If you have the estate homeline you can craft the pieces at your workbench. I just kinda think of them like lego pieces. You unlock them all through paths, there's currently the alchemist line from the tadpole path, the estate line from the kitsuu path and the new line (I forgot the correct name sor) from the pony path. They can all connect together so you can mix and match them

There's a maximum of base rooms you can connect to eachother depending on how many paths you finished (10 base, which you can increase by 2 twice by finishing the kitsuu and tadpole paths, so up to 14) and you can have 2 stories by default, which you can increase up to 3 by finishing the pony path

& some addons like the alchemist window/fireplace for example count as rooms

I only was able to do it once, but that was at the wrong place and was only a try because I couldn't do it within multiple tries so i had to remove it anyways since it was the wrong placement and just was a try if it's even still possible

you're welcome 🙂 there are two ways to flick either holding down your mouse button and pressing the corresponding number key when your pillar says something is in the way or pressing the number key and the mouse button at the same time. the first way never ever works for me

Yeah, it's bugged for now, so we don't know if it will give seeds eventually. Fingers crossed, but it might not be until the next patch that it gets fixed. When the bushes were doing this we had to wait for a new update--it wasn't fixed as a hotfix.

So I discovered that you can completely bypass the tinting UI if you have tints in your inventory on your person. You can just click to place the tint onto something in build mode just by selecting the tint in your hotbar. (This may not be new information, but I had not noticed it before!)

This is a "trust in the process" situation. If you do everything like she does in the video, it will work. And there really probably isn't an easier way. Lila is kind of amazing at making these intricate merged things.

If you just watch closely and copy exactly how she's lining it up on the grid on the wall each time and move it the same number of clicks when she moves it, it will work exactly the same way. And whenever you see the big tank appear, that's when she's cancel placing.

Unfotrunately I do not speak German, even tho I have German heritage, I'm sorry. Flicking is a PC technique where you can force items into place where they would normally turn red.

And they placed this way when you pulled them from your inventory? The issue might be that some are attching to the wall, rather then the other pieces, causing the inconsistency in height. Builder's pieces are also known to "jump around" when trying to attach them to each other, and can cause them to sit at different heights

when i placed them, they were perfectly aligned like the three other rows. its only just the very right row thats keeps jumping. and its basically more or less in the middle in the room , i just put some golden walls in there but there are actually attached to the ceiling. so i can basically just sit it out and hope that they wont jump anymore ?

Most of the glitches out there don't require a red present, but the houses on presents do unfortunately.

They seem to be resetting on reload. Without seeing exactly how you have them attached I could not definitvely say if it is the wall causing it or not, but I can give you a couple solutions to the end row popping off? Take your crates outside and re-attach them all on the ground, then bring them inside and place them back up there, but ensure that they are not connected to something on the front or back wall of your home. You could also use the anchorless method to move just that row back into place, anchoring it to the floor so it won't move again. Not sure if you are familiar with the technique or not, tho

random question, I was thinking of making some kind of collections building/buildings in my plot, especially for starred fish and bugs but probably other stuff too. For anyone else that has done that, how did you organize everything? Rn i have some of them just stacked on top of each other in 2 rooms (one for bugs one for fish) but I kind of want to try to actually collect everything so I want to organize it in a way where I can leave gaps for everything I'm missing and slowly fill them.

Idk if i want to just do it by rarity or maybe organize by like map too. or maybe it could be nice to have them by like type (at least for some, like having all the beetles together for example)

It’s blocked on our plot because the placeable well can’t cut a hole in the ground wherever it’s placed. So for a well that isn’t going to be moved, they can just cut the hole in the landscape. Or at least that’s how i understand it from what one of the developers said.

i have a museum plot that has a bug hall and fish hall, and they are organized by region and type as best as possible (there is some overlap). i had a count of how many bugs/fish were from each zone at one point so I could leave room, but I seem to have misplaced that unfortunately - you could always go to the wiki and make one yourself though if you wanna be a weirdo like me. i also have a cryptid room, a mining/trophy room, an art hall, a little piratey/grimalkin room, a human/highlands room, a lobby/giftshop, and a cafe/kitchen area. it's all still very much a wip (i especially still need to figure out what i want to put my bug terrariums on) but hopefully these screenshots help? feel free to ask questions, or come visit sometime if you'd like.

a couple objects i very much recommend:

• paltech coffee tables and end tables perfectly fit large/medium fish tanks respectively
• the small round fish tanks stack and can make cool columns or perfectly fit on the little elderwood tree shelves
• ravenwood spotlight lamps are really really good for giving you that museum lighting look
• ravenwood large end tables are also great display pedestals for smaller items like starstones, vases, etc

The only way is to anchor them to something else first, as they are an item that has no placeable grid. You can use something small like a dessert plate, but it requires flicking. Could also use a red present as well if u have one

You would have to either flick it onto a smaller item, such as a plate like I mentioned, or place it on a red present, then put your builder's piece onto the plate/present and multi-select that to do the anchorless technique

Would be better if instead of them fixing glitches they just simply implemented the ability and mechanics to do what we do with creative methods so these glitches arent needed. They are all simply mechanics most house building games have that they for whatever reason didnt think of and then not bothered to go back and implement. Even adopt me, a child game on roblox has a much better quality house building / decorating system for movement, placement without boundaries. Crazy

They dont need to look at the glitches and how they work because if they added simple mechanics like rising items , extra rotation options, less collision boundaries, merging which again… are simple mechanics that many other games have then the glitches and their methods would never be needed or have been needed.

But they take the lazy route of… the players found a way so we dont need to add it or recode . Give false promises to string them along till they stop asking .

Its why i stopped playing months ago and probably after 4 days of being back will leave again as nothing seems to have changed over than them braking more bugs and houses

I kept hoping 😂 i just find it hard to believe they will give us what we want… like if we were big name streamers then maybe lmao but so many simple implementation i have seen mentioned here hundreds and more times over the year or so and they havent implemented it. Nee house lines are nice but again they are still highly restricted and most the nice houses you see had to be done with glitches again because of child like boundaries as if we cant be trusted to make nice stuff 😂 again my 7 year old played adopt me and they release weekly updated and monthly event updatss (big ones) nee animals, new housing lines, new vehicles blah blah blah and whilst doing that also dropped a massive update the building community requested to have less collision for merging, new shaped buildings for unique builds. Less lock snap builds so again creativity, more space in the houses and plots and much more…. They did it and dropped it in between two major updates.

So yes its work but if a team wants to make their players and community happy and allow for players to fully enjoy their game they can do it even if its added work between updates which is why when ppl say they are busy i scoff or “its free to play” so is adopt me but they managed it and do alot more updates yet its similar sized dev team i think smaller, on a much weaker running system but looks better than the nintendo switch version of palia and has more updates. …….. therr will be one to tell me to go play that the. Guaranteed haha but no its what my daughter played and i helped building her houses and such but id like to believe S6 mean what they say but their actions show otherwise and although people feel heard at times because they implemented a few things i see a pattern of them implementing what streamers ask for which may align with some of the community but alot like the more creative building we do is missed because not many streamers do the building to the extent we do.

There're 2 umbraan sets, the one at Tish's with "indoor" items and the one at Subira's with "outdoor" items You need the one at Subira's store for the shed

Shamed to say last night i gave up and bought them… i got the supporters packs after being excited over S6 seths comments (yes i mentioned this already😂) and i was like but i dont like any skins as they all have flared hips and are feminine, even the viking one is just not masculine and the lack of them for tints….. so what do i even do with these palia coins….. after 4 hours of grinding hunting and looking back and forth at the progress bar i realised… shugar i can use the coins to complete the pass!! Hhaha also annoyed i cant donate the horses gained from supporter packs as i didnt want them… i just have an army of molten horses the base and thoroughbred arent for me lol

Ashura -> wood
Hodari -> ingots
Auni -> bombs

You have to take everything out of the room you want to remove so it doesn’t delete tint permanently from anything then you can pick it up in storage

You would have to delete the rooms in order to delete the main harvest house I had the same problem it won’t let you delete the base for some reason with the rooms still attached

No, that is correct. Your plot has a limit of 30 building max, but you can't link more than 15 rooms per main house

People usually use glitching techniques to link 2x15 rooms

There's nothing to fix, as this is not a bug. But you can always send them a feedback, if you want to know the reasoning behind that limit.
Also, mansions aren't always made of one building only 😏

sorry but this is such a weak argument. By all rights, having the ability to placve 30 buildings should allow me to connect them if i want. Trying to apply logic like "mansions arent only one building" is nonsensical and doesnt adress the point of the conversation.

Not to mention, the fact that players have com,e up with ways to glitch the buildings to be linked shows that there is a failure in the system which means yes, there are things to fix regardless of it being a bug or a poorly implemented feature

Is anyone familiar with the red present glitch for placing the housing lines? I’m trying to glitch an estate base on top of a red present and I can’t get the H+Y do its thing. I was able to last night but when I finally got it to work, it said ‘invalid placement’ or something whenever I tried to put a building on top of the present. Yes and I tried placing an object on top of it to make sure it was aligned correctly. I’ve stood on top of it because it’s worked for others. I’ve also toggled off the grid while in decorating mode because that supposedly makes it easier as well.

This is not a fix for the overall tinting problem you’re having (and you should definitely send in a support ticket), but you can tint without having to go into the tinting UI. If you have tint in your hotbar, you can just select it and click on things you want to tint. I discovered this by accident last week, so hopefully it still works since the update.

to place the bookshelf on top, you can put a bowl on the shelf and group select with the bowl, which will let you place it on top. To merge it, you need to cancel place the bottom ones out of the way, place your bookshelf, and then reload your plot.
