That's part of the 3500.

So you can have 1000 flowers/plants and 2500 other items, or no flowers and 3500 other items, or anything in between.

If you place a flower, you will note that both the count out of the 1000 and your total item count go up.

The floors need to be not connected. They can snap together and connect, or they can just snap together and not be connected. If they are connected the grass shows through. So when you place them initially before the cancel placement thing, you have to make sure you are pointing away from the floor you are putting them next to. Otherwise they connect and the grass shows.

It’s always been like that but the limit was 500 before. The plants all move with the breeze so they are resource heavy as far as data and graphics go.

items overall limit is older than other ones, it was 3000, changed to 3500 but flowers came in spring 2024 with a limit of 500 and we used to have a limit of 1000 building blocks per plot, under overall limit u cant have more than that (currently) 1k flowers and tbh, im glad we are informed now, back when it was 500 u had to place them until u got a pop up saying NOPE U DONE

its bugged, either take it out of the hallway somewhere else, try applying at top searching for few pixels it might work on or well, abandon old housing system (bc im expecting it to get buggier with time when new housing lines are currently the "supported" ones)

it is a known bug but we dont know anything about fixes coming (if or when)

this is what the issue is caused by, that "wall" that hallways make are for some reason overlapping walls and are not covered in any grid x.x

both - so far the asethetics really suck. but i dont like the mechanics either in that you have to build like 8 rooms in a "estate line" to get teh same interior space as the Grand Harvest House

plus the fact there is no easy way to pick up the whole arrangement of furniture from one room and move it to another room

all the furntiure etc. say you have a medium room in the old layout set up as an "office" you cant just pick up all that furniture and relocate it to an Estate build house in a single simple movement. you have to pick up every single item, then place them again one by one.

and given how difficult placing some items gets is a massive headache

If you go into the editing menu and walk up to the table & select tinting, you can select & see the other tints even if you don't own them or have them available to tint
Just in case you want to see the other colors as well

It depends on what you're trying to achieve The most basic glitch you could learn and do lots of things with is "Cancel placement"

Once you get the hang of it, you can learn how to float, sink and rotate your items

Another method to merge items is to simply use a cup or pillar, put it down on one of the things you want to merge and use the multiselect option while aiming at the cup or pillar It'll let you merge the item into others a bit

I think the easiest way is to place the tower on the present (either sunk the tower or the present to hide it) and then push it oob thru group select, that way you don't risk any distance related artifact between the tower and the present

Doesn't affect most builds but take into account that max distance on a single group select is 30 floors (or 60 grid squares)

I did this by floating it off the red present. It will not stay attached if you float it more than 5 crates, though. I found it in the lamp zone so many times before I finally figured that out. And then I just chained anchors to get it where I wanted it.

Im liking and disliking since i constantly need to go out and gather materials, but i dont need to pick up the furniture to be able to dye them, so thats a plus since a few of my older plots have retired glitches that i cant replicate anymore/are harder to remake, so I can just dye them with ease now

They have to be anchored to something, but it doesn't have to be a floor. Will they place on the table upright? (I can't remember.) If so, then it's a matter of rotating the table sideways and placing it, then cancel placing it in the normal position to place the flowers. Then when you pick up the table and place it again, the flowers will be horizontal, but you have to play with the positioning when you cancel place to get them to look like they are actually on the table. Otherwise, if they won't place on the table, you will have to use a different anchor.

One major change that a lot of people are surpised by is that you can no longer store tinted items. They will lose their tint when you put them into storage, and unfortunately, you don't get the tint back. Just so you know...

Is there a compilation of all of the different possible glitches anywhere? I find plenty on youtube but if there was a list of each use (here's how you glitch furnture out of bounds, how to place a tree out of bounds, how to overlap pieces, etc)

not really to that detail, tbh there are like 4-5 glitches used and/or combined for everything else (depens on who u ask, for me there are only 2 xd)

the difference between a tree out of bounds and furniture is its normal properties u see by playing vanilla, only adjust methods

each build also can be done in as many ways as many people u ask and it can be 100% other approach and core method used for same effect

You can buy the aurora peaks landscape which is all snow. The icicles only work on the new home lines but you can float them and then place them wherever

it's not that they are completely unusable but the stairs running into the wall and having that god awful gap on the side if u want it against the wall, the fences that don't fit the size of the room, the doorway on the estate line warping wallpapers, the fact that half the second floor disappears if u want to use stairs, u can only attach 12 rooms together atm and other things make it kinda annoying to work with the new lines and makes them seem underdeveloped, I'd rather wait a bit more time for housing that works than having a new line every update that wasn't properly developed before the release just so we have more content ig

Yes you don’t need the cutting tool they will automatically connect. The harvest homeline is the only one it actually connects to without glitching

You have to buy them at the winter shop at zekis. They really come in handy for glitching so everyone stocks up on a lot of them when they come back every Christmas

You would have to float it but it might get yeeted to the front of your plot just know since they won’t snap you might not be able to place the stairs to the third floor since the house is floating and also since it won’t be snapped in place you won’t be able to remove the floor from the third house

Another way is to connect that block to the one next to it outside somewhere. Then cancel place the one that is colliding with the pillar somewhere far away, place the other block where it goes. The block you cancel placed will follow and snap into place since it's attached to that other block.

(Sorry if that doesn't make sense... basically if the builders blocks are connected, they will stay connected no matter where you place the anchor block. You just have to cancel place the other blocks elsewhere so that they don't get in the way and move the anchor block where you need it.)

It’s not being worked on with estate or alchemist… but you can nest them super close to pull it off.

If you turn off grid and have no walls on your alchemist or estate base, you can line it up super close so when it reenable the wall to have a door if steps exist it’s not triggering collision.

you cant have them connected. you can have them snap together and connect or they can just snap together and not be connected. make sure you are pointing away from the floor you are trying to connect them to. if you are looking directly at the floor you are connecting them too they will snap and connect causing the grass to poke thru

They should’ve had it on sale during the winterlights festival not Black Friday I’m sure a lot of ppl were out of town or busy with Thanksgiving get togethers and couldn’t get it. Galewind and aurora are the 2 most expensive ones at 33 bucks just ridiculous then you have the rest at 16

To be fair, its their most resource intensive plots. We got sky animations and snowflake particles. To me, that cost seems steep but more fair. They put way too much work into making it larger, walkable, animated, glitzy... Its wonderful to get it on sale... but I think they were banking on folks waiting on sales vs. as is pricing.

There's an estate market strategy of massively overshooting the house value, so when someone counter offers a lower value, then its in better range of what the homeowners truly wanted. We see this in other areas too.

But at times, the instant gratification is what gives the extra money, and they get their intended dollars from patience.

If you buy $2 Eve towlettes from the groccery store, and you look at the ingredients, its literally chemical free and is no different than dropping $10 for the same thing branded differently but maybe sold under the art crafts for example (wiping fingers from chalk, etc.) They're also just slightly denser "natural" baby wipes at the end of the day. Pink tags are a scam.

I get that but you also have the elderwood one with the animations and shiny rocks etc and that’s only 16 bucks and came out in July of last year and aurora peaks came out in Dec 2024

Think about surface area. A skin like that is less intensive because there's a sliver of sky. Its purple with sparke animation. Thats 2-5 variables vs. over 10 when you're in the animation busines. Elderwood Cavern still takes a while to animate, but not to the semi-realism detailing of Aura.

Hi there. Just curious about the glitching for housing plots. Does anyone else struggle to do like the red present glitch on PC? I get it to open the housing tab, but it won't let me select a house. lol

I'm probably not doing it right, despite watching tons of videos on it.

I currently have a video up from Alucia Moon that does a nice job of explaining it at a slower pace, but I still struggle with the whole glitching thing in general. lol

Alucia actually isn't the best one to look up for... I'd advice you to look at Drake Lance's video instead

You cannot place the harvest house on a red present. Her video shows something that has never worked for anyone else.

So it's probably not you. If you're trying to copy her video, it's not a possible thing to do.

I'm trying to place a gazebo on some terraform

This shows up when they are fully all OFF to point they don't know your account exists :v

So the gazebo will go on the present, but you have to stand far from it and aim well. Then make sure you do the double jump thing and you should be able to place it, with it snapping right to the present if you aimed correctly.

(Disclaimer, I don't have a gazebo, but I have placed many other buildings on the present, and I know the gazebo is possible, too.)

Yeah the fact that it was asking me to log in without showing the fact that the servers were cureently down had me confused, lol. It was showing like I was just logged out. It had the servers will be coming down at this time message instead of the currently under maintenance one, so thought it was already back up

I'm not 100% sure, but if I remember correctly last time when you put down "new" pavers during the bug, they stayed the size of when you put them down when it got patched

If you picked it up during the bug and placed it, then they will probably all be the same size now, if they stay the same as how they were placed during this patched. The ones you didn't touch should definitely go back to how they were before, though.
