I just got ready to switch back to it, and it's gone from my list

So the front of my sword faces south when I pull it from my inv., so that is how it will stay, not matter which way I stand when I flick it. I'm going to keep the face in that direction, and so that way I can angle it left or right, rather than forward or backward. I start with my shelf placed at the angle I want, and the plate is hanging off the corner

My sword will sit at the hilt when flicked so I have to cancel place further up so it sits higher, and when I do this I turn the shelf horizontal and cancel place it before I flick. The reason the plate is on the edge is so that the shelf's grid does not get in the way while flicking.

Once I flick it on and pick up and place the shelf, it sits higher, and at the angle I wanted it at. If you want it to tilt forward or backwards you will have to use a wall facing north or south, but don't do it on the front or back wall of ur house, or it will do the explody thing

K, then just turn ur anchor 1 tick left or 1 tick right from horizontal, depending on which way u want it to lean, and place. Pick it up, and cancel place it horizontal again and flick it on. If it sits too low, cancel place ur shelf up higher as well.

If u want it facing down, start with the shelf upside down and go 1 tick left or 1 tick right and place, then cancel place upright horizontal before flicking. You may need to adjust placement tho, bc once flipped upright, the position may shift

OH I was telling you to face the wrong way 🥲 it would look like this done with the spiral web.
Put your plate/paver on a wall while facing west! And flick the shovel on with the spiral web.
You can cancel place the paver or plate on the wall to separate it from the shovel as well before flicking it on

You should be able to! Some points, though... first of all, the ceilings are really low, so the flowers are going to hang pretty low. If you want another floor above, then stack your cottages first--they don't like to stack when there is something close to or on the ceiling of the room below. Also, do not attach your ceiling to the front wall of your house--use a different wall. The inside front wall makes things explode...

I'm using tiny dragon's concrete square method. So I have the stack of concrete which I float one with the wood box and place another concrete on the floating one. Then double jump cancel place a pod on the second concrete and then place the nightstand on the anchor and place the anchor on the ground but nothing sinks

I literally do step by step tiny dragons video, I even slowed it to .25 speed to see if I was missing something xd

I had to use a different item to cancel place then the one used to move the night stand (a non cancel place item). I was using the pod for both but then I had just randomly choose to use the pumpkin on the night stand instead of the pod and it sunk!!!!!!!

1. Put a shelf on a wall and put a paver on top
2. Take the paver and cancel it on the floor
3. Take your table and put a bowl/pillar on top
4. Multiselect from the bowl/pillar and put on top of the paver
5. Move the paver and done

if ur using a paver as ur anchor, cancel place the shelf lower from it's original position by 4 on that builder's wall with the anchor on the shelf the whole time. Place ur table on top. pick up and place, and voila

If u want to sink multiple tables on one, you can anchor your tables together in strips, then anchor those strips to each other.

I don't know it it's helpful, but the wreath does not flick easily for me either. I have no problems flicking most things, but I had to do it multiple times to get it to finally work. (I did the plate on the edge of the shelf like in your second picture, and I used the cobweb to flick it, since you don't need the "something is in the way" message with the cobweb.) It kept giving me the same message you get. But it did eventually stick to the plate using the cobweb after a bunch of tries. Hmm...

I made a cottage for storing my crafting devices and set one of my devices on the right side on the second floor of the cottage however when I exit and re-enter my plot, one of my crafting devices ends up outside of the cottage outside the placement area floating in the air.
My other crafting furniture doesn't do this in the cottage, it's only one piece on the section of the right wall the disappears and reappears outside.
I don't know how to stop this glitch.

It's because you put them on builders floors. They have to be touching the floor inside the house or the ground outside, or they have to be anchored to a builders block/floor that is touching the ground outside. All the crafters (including storage chests) do this.

here pillars are connected to the floor below, place it on a shelf and turn before attaching pillars, there is a few ways to do this tho, this one is the easiest but u need to cancel the pillars out of the way to be able to place the corner ones

other way is group select with the cobweb if u have one but there is a gap u have to fix by canceling the corner pillar a bit by one grid square towards away from side u are attaching pillars

or again on shelf but same as cobweb way - u need to cancel the whole thing one grid square away again

It will let you overlap the placement of items. That only goes so far, so cancel placement is another method if you want to merge things more than you can with the bowl/pillar. Yeah, that’s it. The rooms actually overlap top to bottom, so when you’re placing them the foundation on the top house doesn’t like stuff in the way. Once they are attached the foundation goes away, and then you can put your lights or whatever back on the ceiling.

The limit for crafters is across all plots, but I'm pretty sure the cooking stations don't count... just the things like the sawmill and the smelter and the loom, etc. So thirty total for those. And same for the farming plots--you only get nine. The limit for decor on the plot is only for the plot. So you get 3500 items on each plot.

Also, you may know already, the storage is shared across plots, you just need a storage chest to access, you're limited to place 8 per plot, and only the 8 higher level across counts for the capacity
Which makes some people just stash the 8 palium chests somewhere in a forgotten plot where no eyes can see them, and use other more likable chests to access the storage

Put a web on your anchor
Put the anchor on the outside wall of your house
Flick the tree on the anchor with the spiral web
(Spiral web flicks while highlighted green, no need for something to be in the way)

My friend saw the amazing chicken coop that's been shared around and asked me to have a go at recreating it!

The original creator (IGN Lila Stern) hasn't done a tutorial yet, but I thought I'd have a go! 😅

I had a lot of fun trying this and thought I'd share what I ended up using just in case it helps anyone! ☺️💙

For those who are interested, I ended up using:

• 10 x Industrial Wall Shelves (Sides)
• 4 x Terracotta Pavers (Roof)
• 4 x Homestead Floor Cabinets (Top)
• 8 x Gourmet Butchers Block (Ramp)
• 1 x Summer Stripe Table (Base)
• 1 x Makeshift Small Cabinet (Door)
• 2 x Ravenwood Medium Frame (Flipped for black background)
• Any amount of Spa Day Duckies + 2 x Gourmet Forks for their feet! (I also put one upside down in a haypile hehe)

You have to use a few techniques for it, but basically you anchor your lamp to an item (usually a paver or gourmet plate since easy to hide) but to anchor lamps you need to use the obstacle flick glitch Then it's a matter of floating the lamp high enough on the paver to get it to the right height and using cancel placement to merge the dress forms and the lamp in itself

In general I am happy with the way it turned out, apart from the fact it feels empty on either side. I've been meaning to fill it with foliage and trees, however the side I did it on also feels empty?

I've been toying with the idea of fencing the front area off to make an enclosed space, but due to the way my plot is laid out, a fence would look funny on the right side (black roof building)

I wanna remove everything and start from scratch, but I'm worried I may feel even more unhappy with what I have, and to be honest I'd much rather feel meh about something over hating it all together.

I have this idea of those stone pavers leading up the porch with curved umbraan fences acting as tree guards, but it just seems like such an undertaking that I'm not sure would be do-able given my layout.

Yeah, you just need to put your terrace piece down, take a few builders floors to make a long "bridge" out of them, put first piece of said bridge on the terrace, take a pillar/crate and put it at the end of the bridge (touching the ground), multiselect from the pillar/crate and you'll be able to move the terrace out of bound Once it somewhere you like, you can take the builders pieces off

Cancel placement works... You place your rug, cancel place it out of the way, then place the stuff you want on the rug. When you reload your plot, the rug will go back to where it was. The only issue is that the stuff will be on the floor under the rug, so if it's a thick rug, things can sink into the rug and disappear. (I helped a friend with this recently, and one of the things "on" the rug was the chezuu game, which disappeared into the rug when we reloaded. So we put the game on top of a butcher's block cutting board to lift it up a little to look like it's actually on the rug.)

It's actually really easy with your setup Take all your floors from your crate to make a total of 6 floors attached together. Then, you pick up the two that would get into the wall and cancel their placement away. Pick the rest of the floors and put it as you did on your crate (The two cancelled ones will snap back to the rest by themselves)

As Lyra mentioned, it's much easier for the people who like to guide when there is a specific goal in mind [as a note please don't take this message as some kind of finger wag, you didn't do anything wrong]

A way I like to explain it is like this:
When someone poses this kind of question, since there isn't a direct kind of inquiry [I.E. how do I float X, how do I sink Y, etc.] My Tiny Dragon brain just brings all the information about glitching to the forefront of my brain... which leads to a 404 message

Do you guys know how to get the terrain pieces to overlap with buildings? I tried using the gourmet dessert bowl method, which I’ve been able to do with success for other things, but it doesn’t seem to work for terrain

There are a couple different ways. One is to cancel place your terrain out of the way and then place your buildings. When you reload your plot, the terrains will be back where they were. But this means you have to have space on your plot to move big things.

There is a way to still ghosting but it's more... involved than the broken one. Requires 2 person and enough rooms to cover the length of the plot (so you also need all the space). Basically you place a room so out of bounds that it jumps back on a diff plot but is still connected, you can open walls on a HH room with this but may not be worth the effort

Darn, yeah, I didn’t plan the space with terrain in mind since it’s my first house. I’ll keep it in mind for my next one

But I think you can also use builders pieces to kind of nudge the terrains where you want them. I have not done this, though, so I don't think I can explain it correctly.

Thanks to @heady spoke , I now have an easier way of making tunnels! And this one is done! I just need to float more tables to cover the mess around the opening (don't want anyone seeing the wizard behind the curtain!)...

I would start with learning cancel placement. That lets you merge stuff, and you need to know how to do it in order to float and sink. It's kind of the basis for most glitches.

The basics of glitching mostly revolve around the cancel placement method, you might want to look into that one (especially for console players, it's a bit tricky)

Oh- On pc you have LOTS of techniques But yeah, check the cancel method first

Rotating, floating, sinking,... are all variants of it

ok so most glitches rely on you understanding what cancel placing is. Cancel placing as a concept is that you are fake moving an item out of the way, while the game still thinks the item never left it's spot.

To see that in action:

• get 1 round paver, set it on the ground.
• get any 2 furniture items. a small builder's crate and a builder's pillar are what I will use for this demo.
• get any plushie and put it in your inventory #1 spot.
• the paver is just so you can get a visual on placement while you are new, and isn't needed once you understand the concept.
• place the small crate on the paver like normal, no tricks here.
• now comes the cancel placing: pick up the crate with left mouse button, move it off of the paver anywhere it turns green, but do NOT use left mouse button to put it down. Instead you are going to hit #1 on your keyboard or #1 on your mouse if your mouse has buttons. If you see the plushie come out, you did it!
  ------ so while you see the crate moved off of the paver on your screen, the game's coding still thinks the crate is on top of the paver.
• put the plushie away, V is default button to do that. (If your plushie keeps coming out when you press V, just press #1 two times)
• now put the pillar onto the paver like normal, no tricks.
• now zone in/out of your plot, or use H menu to swap to another plot and swap back.
• when you reload the plot where you did the cancel placing, the game will merge the 2 items together.

You can try by placing a spring fever edging next to it, and group select from the edging, it'll allow you a bit more freedom to place on other things

Other option is that when the trees sprout you can place them closer together than when seeds, so you could have a tighter group

cancel placement! what you can do is:

1. place the tree where you want it
2. move the tree to a temporary location, but don’t place it down, instead:
3. make sure you have another placeable item in your hot bar. then, instead of placing the tree, press the number of the slot that item is in (so for example: if my “cancel” item was in slot 4, i’d press 4)
4. now the tree will be “canceled” to a new spot (temporarily), and you can place the pillar where your tree was originally
5. now reload your plot, and viola! the tree will snap back to where it was, and you’ve got mushrooms on the tree because the pillar is hidden inside ^^

Yesss, if you put the table out of bounds you can flick the rug onto them. I dont think they like to go on them on without an anchor or flicked i could be wrong i just havent had luck with the ones ive tried

Are the pavers out of bounds?
The landscapes are inconsistent oob but even inside the buildable area there are micro variations in the ground, in some there are places where you cannot place things because the grid is under the terrain

They are in bounds. I placed them on the grid on the Autumn Acres landscape but when I switch the build to the cavern they are then underground. I can then move and replace them on the grid on the Cavern landscape but they float on the Autumn Acres one lol

Ah, are they in the center - north zone? I think it was a really noticeable depression there, you can even see the grid on top of things iirc

No those were okay it is most of the West side for me. It looks like the default landscape looks the same as Cavern so I'm thinking it might be an Autumn Acres issue. You can see here how it looks on Autumn but then its all kind of in the ground on Cavern.

If u take a flotsam candle, and then glitch a jar/bottle upside down into it just high enough to cover the candle, you could do a half filled jar, or one that has an opaque bottom. As far as empty jars, the closest thing we have is Auni's bug jar, and it has a glowing bug in it so not truely empty
