Yep, that's flicking. You are just going to flick it onto something other than the floor so u can rotate it

So, if you take say, a dinner plate, hang it out of bounds so the grid does not interfere, then use a pillar or something else to flick it onto the plate, you can just pick it up and rotate it by that

A filter for "Incomplete Sets" would help players go "OH this helps!!" vs. watching for a tiny green checkmark.

They're technically different sets, but implied continuation. End User aspect needs to make sure its depictable. That's part of User Interface / User Experience (UI/UX) in design. Logically, they want it to be tied together for a series being continued. If they made a filter for EUs like us to find incomplete sets, that'd alleviate a fraction of our search concerns.

If you look for Ranch, you get "Umbraan bRANCH" as a result too... so it could be in the works.

On the backend, unique identifiers makes sense. Then that can tie as a UI/UX drop-down for incomplete. We don't need the know the identifier. To use that's "Rancher" vs. "Umbraan." To separate the series, the identifier makes the most sense.

All u need to do is stick a crate on the wall, pick it up and place it back on the wall so it undoes the rotation if it. Then cancel place the floor onto the crate, multi-select by the crate and move it down by 1/2 a small square and place. It will shoot back to where it was sitting but be hidden in the floor. The floor piece itself will be anchored to ur wall

I like to cancel placement the tall spiderwebs into things, you could put it in the well and maybe even in the same spot as your crops,
Ive had yardwork rocks around my garden before overlapping with no issue so webs and pumpkins and stuff

There are a few pieces that do this, if you turn your camera around and peer inside the object you can take it out. You can also put it on a shelf on the front or back of ur HH and it will pop out so u can grab it

You can put a shelf on a wall, put a cup/bowl on top, multiselect from said cup/bowl and the shelf will become a ground/surface item

With that method, you can stack up shelves into stairs

To adjust the height of the tables, you need to sink them using an anchor. Most ppl use a paver or floor pieces. Have you learned cancel placement yet? that is the basis for sinking/floating?

k, so cancel placement is pretty straight forward, all you do is hold the item you wish to cancel place in your hands, move it where ever you want it (without placing it, you are still just holding it) and then hit a number key in your hotbar that contains a starred fish/food/bug, or a decor item. This will pull the item from your inv. out into your hand, locking what you were holding in place where you were holding it.

@gilded lily Once you are used to doing that, all you need to do is use a shelf, put your anchor on it, and cancel place the shelf higher or lower on the wall from it's original position to sink or float before adding the piece you wish to sink/float on top of the anchor

The idea is that whatever you are holding in ur hand to flick, has to be able to sit on the surface you are flicking on. If it doesn't, it won't work

So a wall item for walls, a floor item for floors, etc. There are obviously acceptions, like builder's pieces and whatnot bc they are placeable on diff surfaces

Hi everyone! I’m trying to place a book horizontally on console and didn’t have any luck with the gourmet bowls. I was able to get the book to place on the gourmet cutting board but then I can’t remove the cutting board 😩 does this no longer work?

You can use a bowl to do this, but it "jumps" when placed and merges into the surface a tiny bit. Nothing a little cancel placement can't solve tho

You have to spam the placement button tho bc the point where it turns green is very small now

I have pic tutorials for how to do it, but any YT tutorial showing u how to do it with a bowl works the same as before, it's just the window where it turns green is much smaller, so they are not obsolete. Your book will just sit above the bowl now instead of on it, and it will merge into ur surface a bit once placed

You need one red present from the december winter store, but this is how you put them on the red present.

You only need one though, since after that to float more you place the house on the red present under where you want the house to float,
Add a second story in H mode
then move the red present house selected from the red present out of H mode
And youre left with a floating house 😄 and your red present remains free.

You just make ur 2 story stack, place a house beside it, then move it forward to where the back left corner is touching the right front corner of the house and place, then multi-select and it will drag the 2nd story along with the other house piece. You can then just pick up the extra pieces and it stays floating

Yep, it thinks that the floated room is the bottom of the stack,so you can put another on top

Since it's an alchemist house, you can just hang them on a pillar and float them off to the side so you can hide the pillar in the wall?

Yes, not a literal window, but a small space just on the lower edge of the wooden beam, you may have to fiddle a little to find it if it's still available.
Otherwise we may have to wait until they fix it

Other option I've seen is to use a shelf placed on the pillar, group select by the shelf to rotate the pillar horizontal on the wall, then place the curtains on the pillar

You can also place the curtains before placing the pillar on the right spot

Floating glitch ? And as a ground item, you could use builders blocks/floors as the anchor, or if you want something more discreet you'll have to flick it on top (flick PC only)

You should be able to put the floors onto the wall without trouble, but you might need to make the full floor first and cancel most of it away to be able to put it down on the wall

If the stairs were not locked to the socket system, where we could put them wherever we want on al alchemist floor, they could continue on, even if they looked blocky. And/or, snap onto each other like how the builder bridges operate, then "reduce" the block presence for continuation.... that'd help with tower placements. But... I kinda wish we even had the ability to attach them outside the flooring system.

I just want to afford alchemist bases... I cannot engage in as much monies in game as much as everyone else.

I did ask Palia to permit export/imports with a surplus for targeting a higher surplus of monies to underflate the economic limitations of Killima, it just implied another activity/RNG of how much you get from it... I am good with self-sustainability to craft, but the alchemist sets to make dioramas for me is killer so I have been burnt out a while to decorate.

ivy only goes on the ground and the cottage roofs

i dont see anything like the cozy camp set in my worktable

only normal camping set which doesnt seem to have a hedge and a cozy cafe set
