I'm one of those: I cleaned one dorm room that had several breeds if spiders in there. I had to vacuum the room before I even began wiping stuff down and STILL ran into some.

Two students rented a quad and didn't dust or vacucm. The custodians taking over during summer break to ready the room had to deal with it. x'D

I THINK I vacuumed about 60 of them, not counting the ones that I was trying to kill off individually before realizing the severity.

OH so easy! but to clarify, you can only transfer single items, not whole constructs 🤣 you just need to put the items in a tent (dont stack items) and then remove/pick up the tent, go to the already over the limited plot and reload game and then you can see all the items that were in the tent before, in the lampzone where you spawn

You can place them without connecting them and then usually the grass doesn't go through. The ones that have the grass have actually linked to the ones next to them--if you pick up and move one of the ones that has no grass, you'll find others go with it. So when you place them down, make sure you are pointing away from the ones nearby so that they don't actually link. I'm pretty sure that will solve the grass problem.

You want to rotate it on the wall, but don't grab by the pillar, make sure you are grabbing by the shelf on the wall. (Actually, the pillar thing might not matter, but if you have the shelf next to the wall, it will rotate the way you want it to on the wall.)

I think your floor is attached tot he wall rather than the pillar. It's hard to get it attached to the pillar, but you can usually do it of you try to put it on from the side (like from where you're standing in your picture). Aim slightly to the left of your pillar until you see the floor snap to the side of the pillar instead of the bottom.

If you are putting it inside your house, it would be easier to use an upside down floor piece, and just sit it on top of that, rather than the pillar.

That way the anchor is hidden and u don't have a pillar just sitting there attached to ur wall

If the grid is not under it, it will only recognize and snap to the item you are pointed at

It works easiest if u don't point your camera towards the grid if ur barely out of bounds tho

So I've been having fun placing terrace pieces out of bounds all over my plot using the builder group select trick, but it's tricky with the hilly areas because they seem to actually have perfect collision. Is there a bowl-esque way to minimize the collision of the terraces so I can have them coming halfway out a hill?

Cancel placement should help. Move the pillar object off to the side, cancel place it (Select different decor item on hotbar), place the plush there. pick up and place the pillar. Should offset it.

They are stone blocks, builder blocks, with a Flotsam portal in front of it. That you get from Bahari Bay rummage pile as RNG. To simplify how to get the Flotsam portal, overload your pockets and overflow row in your backpack with items you're unlikely to get from a rummage pile, and server-hop until it lets you pick up the rummage (you should not see "Inventory Full" while recipe hunting.)

If it's an item, it's something in your INV, or a Quest-based item. But it should be a recipe.

You can "push" it with cancel placement and group select; place as far as you can, cancel place somewhere with some space to move in the same direction, group select from side move in the direction you want to push, it will jump the same distance but from the original position

Yep, u can push it once it's on an anchor too, but it anchors it to the ground when u do, so you need to be careful how high up you are going with it. (the anchor)

-top row is where u can place the bug normally, but u want to trick the game
-middle is where the tank is placed by you, you cancel it to the side like on first row so when u place the bug it will allow it to sit thinking its like the game allows it
-but since it was canceled there and actually it was in the middle position it will snap and bug will anchor
-take a look at this for a moment and notice the relation, remember that 2nd row is actual placement and first row is where u cancel the tank to trick the game

Hi guys, anyone else having trouble hanging up the curtains? I already had four curtains hanging somewhere, and by placing a window, they naturally went into my inventory. I wanted to hang them back up, but it wouldn't work. I can't hang them anywhere on/in my house, not on any plot. Does anyone else have a solution? U pick the room up on which everything u want to move is connected.

well, i had flicked/ghosted prep stations before close to walls and just on the edge of "this is not a valid placement" error and its not happened like this?

the first time, i flicked my two prep stations in place and then i was ghosting something else in a different area and i returned to find one prep station gone and the other half sunk into the floor some steps away on its side 😅

second time i ghosted them in place and it didn't go away and thought it fixed, but when i quit out and came back the next day the same thing happened 😅😅

so i now have two prep stations underground and inaccessible 😂

garden soil can be o-flicked onto builder's floors. maybe you could flick soil onto floors and then rotate the floors to be somewhat circular? hope that makes sense
