guess u could set one building block (maybe 2 blocks high) on the ground and "connect" all terraces to that one with builders blocks (starting connecting from the terraces) . multiselect on the builder block on the ground should select everything.

4 in the back, then two on either side, slightly turned inwards to make a dome, then stacked 4 on top in the back, then used pavers as a shelf on top. Lastly I sunk the firepit on a red present and used the flick glitch to place pavers around it 🙂

Well as far as non-natural walls go, I found a lot of aesthetic value in placing pillars every-other slot and adding a topper and base to it

Makes use of the Z axis to add some visual dynamacy

You can give them to tish if you really dont want them, but there's only so many of the loot chests so be sure you dont want them for anything! They have uses and don't take up storage space

You can, but it involves "pushing" from sinking and floating with the 1 cup method. It's easier than it sounds tho. As far as the rugs go, tho, since they don't have a top grid, they need anchored to something. I can post a pic of what to do??

Try that : put a potato pod down, put the garden lights in tab 1, take the potato without placing it and put it under you (make sure you are where you want it) then left click and maintain it, then click one 1 and stop clicking the mouse.

Like pick up the potato pod to move it under you without mainting the click, but once you ready to flick, click left again, maintain, press 1, release everything

Also, regarding flicking, I have not fully tested this, but I have noticed that with the new houses, I cannot flick into the area where the doorway would be (regardless of whether there’s a wall with a door or if I’ve taken the wall off). The very center of the wall area just doesn’t like flicking. I have zero trouble flicking elsewhere, just that one spot.

All the new issues seem to stem from them messing with collision and adding snapping points. Before no issues with putting things on HH walls, then after a few updates leading to this one, certain spots near connection points wouldn't allow placement, and now with the new ones the walls are broken completely on some items for the HH as well as the new line. The new line is also covered in snapping points. So I think the addition of these snapping points is the issue. Somewhere in the code they borked something that has to do with this.

I am no tech expert tho, lol

This is odd honestly... Using bowls to lay books flat bumps them up higher than the bowls edge and sinks them into the surface, and flicking at a surface will not register what is in front of it (the anchor piece) without something to back it sometimes

my personal guess would be either something about the snapping points, that they wanted to add a better collision check for the windows which would need to check 2 surfaces or that they needed more 'depth' for the windows (because I could see these not being normal "wallitems" but somewhat different).

It's probably colliding underneath the floor. You can take note of where you want it (mark the position with something else or with the grid) then cancel the brazier outside a bit far from the anchor so it doesn't collide with anything, then place the anchor where you want it, the brazier should snap back into position

Nah, it's mostly annoying and not intended most of the time but, have you noticed that if you pick up a shelf to move without the wall behind the pointer it turns relative to where it was facing?
You can use that to sort of change the the angle based on where it is facing when you pick it

@maiden grotto hi! I made an indoor greenhouse garden inspired by your pictures. I used the pillar anchor + wooden floors, then object flicked the soil plots into place. The soil plots are working perfectly, except for one thing. I have tried both the spring fever stone and wood edging, and I can't place either. I get the error "this is not a valid placement" so I can't even object flick them individually. Wondering if you remember how you got yours placed? Thank you!!

1. Put your wall down at the desired angle
2. Cancel it frontward on the grid line where your right corner was (hence the kitsuu plush, to see the cancellation)
3. Place your shelf at a 90° angle
4. Replace the wall somewhere to activate the glitch

It's for the shutter on the left, if you want it on the right, do the glitch in mirror

One way to move edgings is also use another edge piece and groupselect, then move. But since you are trying to get it inside, I’m not sure if group select works.. since I think obstacle flick is necessary in this case maybe

Also, if you could just cancel place everything else outside meanwhile you flick the edging

The term "ghosting" was used for when you merged rooms or cut rooms from their socket using 2 different plots

You can either try with cancel placement (but you'll have to remember where you put your tree) or with a terrace you glitch into the floor of the conservatory (There's also obstacle flick, but it's trickier )

you can buy extra plots to make other stuff you might want to keep away from your main plot... the only thing is that you can only have a total of 9 farming plots

thats what i did for mine, sawmills and furnaces in another plot because they looked ugly-- until now that i made this forge room to make it more cool ha!

we know the glitches where lower fps really help.
flicking isnt part of that since we dont need to time anything perfectly (well at least thats what locking to lower fps shows). It could still be some weird timing thing ig (not our human timing, more processing time).

No no, I have lag - it uses lag, I play the highest settings making my FPS sometimes drop more
