Yep, this is relatively easy to achieve. You can make the shape, then multi-select the whole thing an d place it on a sideways block to turn it upright

The new ivy would be perfect for this if u can place it on more than just the roof

U can place them anywhere with a grid. You just need to cancel place the barrel away far enough so that it doesn't collide with anything, and then place the plate on top

You have to anchor them to something after rotating said something on a shelf. Be it a plate, paver, etc

So put a plate on the shelf, turn the shelf by however many u want and place. Pick up the shelf in the same spot, turn it horizontal again and cancel place, then put the pillow on it. Pick up and place and u have a vertical pillow

U can also float it off the object itself (chair/bed) but that's a bit more complicated

I recommend starting with any "built in" or structural details u want, after figuring out ur space and where u want things, then decide how you want to lay out the furniture, then worry about clutter

K, the ones u can do to accomplish this are the 1 cup method (the bowl one u mentioned, tho this is tricky bc it's on a wall), or u can simply flick it up there. You could also use cancel placement and anchor the shelves together, etc. But the easiest for u might be flicking. If u r on PC that is.

All u have to do is turn ur frame rate down to 30, then have ur object u wish to place in ur inv. and find it in ur hotbar. Take a shelf that you have already placed into the world, and then line it up where u want the shelf u wish to place. Hold in ur left mouse button and then hit that number key which has ur shelf in it. It will flick it onto the wall from ur inv. instead of placing the one ur holding.

Yeah, I'd go with foliage/rocks, etc. and a pthway leading out, and then make an exterior work yard area to help fill it in and further decorate the space

And the pathway can lead u to ur other work areas and stalls, since it seems the right side is crafting themed
