Hi, hello! I guess have some problems with a wall bookshelf that I made. I saw some people have it on the second floor of their grand harvest house but I read too, that it's not possible to be placed there. Whenever I sink it into the wall, leave my plot and return it's outside of the house and buildable zone. I also got the hint, that only a builders floor would work as an anchor, but is it possible to hide it into the floor of the second floor? It's all kind of confusing but thanks for any help 🙏

okay, so - u place a pillar in front of that one wall off grid, so its not really connected but when u group select by that pillar it grabs the whole wall structure; then - u pick the wall and cancel whole thing a tiny bit up in front of the pillar - not place, just cancel it there

then - u group select by that pillar, remembering the thing itself is actually on the other side; u bring it inside and place that pillar as close as u can to your wall inside house - when u click placing down, the walls should snap into their old position sinking into the wall; u pick up the pillar, happy with work done xD

it's funny that you can't attach wall lights to the gazebo or the wooden pole, but if you put the wooden pole really close to the gazebo pole then at one side in a certain height you can. the light hovers a bit away from the wooden pole but that's ok for me 😅 you can move it around to your liking afterwards but when you put it on a second pole for more height it will never line up the two poles 100%, the second you klick place it jumps a tiny bit to the right

There, even though it's barely visible, a small round Paltech table with a gold rune table lamp on it serves as my tower and Wi-Fi system with a small antenna.

Sometimes it also locks itself and does not allow to pull other item later from inventory - pull other item twice, it should unlock it on 2nd try, sometimes more

This technique allows u to temporarily "place" an item somewhere and it stays there only until u update it - by moving its anchor or reloading your plot, with blocks important is making sure they are actually connected so canceled item "follows" to new spot

If mastered it basically unlocks build god mode xd but it takes time to master

Group select is shortly expanding one item properties to the whole stack, in your situation u can try with a blocks pillar and see how far it will let u go into a wall (put it on top the thing u want to merge and group by aiming at a pillar)

Ghosting is a method of detaching rooms from your house while switching plots so that it stands solo. Cancel placement is when you pull a decor item from ur inv. while holding the item u wish to temporarily move, so that it locks it in place out of the way. You never actually moved the item tho

It's the same exact thing, you're just flipping ur anchor upside down and placing it, then cancel placing it right side up to put the tree on. So it's just rotational floating

For this u would need to use anchorless floating to get it higher than that I think, bc the beam gets in the way

there is dozens ways to doing this tbh, i do this by flipping stuff in my brain :I its not very helpful, u compare how u can place and how u want it to sit, it and try to place all around it in a way that would make it sit where u want it :V

So basically you want the light sunk into the blocks, so they still give off enough light to light up your dark fish tanks... But to NOT have the lights be visible or poking through the blocks...

u can also just cancel place 2 and 1/2 small squares down, and 2 and 1/2 small squares to the right and it will perfectly line it up instead of turning the grid off

it shouldn't. Just know that bc the layout is diff. some stuff may be merged into the landscape
