that glitch can only done by yourself. we can't place stuff from our inventories on your plot

the most important part is setting the key in the settings, without that it wont work. apart from that its really just following the points.

I need some help with designing a camera out of some pretty limited items. I am making my plot into a wedding venue and I need a place to do photos but its hard to communicate that without a camera in the set up- I haven't been playing that long so I dont have a lot of items to work with

sit the sewing box on a dessert plate on the shelf (I sunk the box into the plate so when it's sitting u dont see the feet), turn ur shelf to the right, completely sideways, and place. Pick up the shelf and move it 2 and 1/2 small squares to the right and turn ur grid off to move it just a tiny bit down between 0 and 1/2 a small squares. Turn the shelf back horizontal and cancel place. Cancel place the sewing box out of the way and then put ur dessert bowl on top of the plate centered. Pick up and place the shelf and it should be good

You can normally place walls edge on edge on a rotated wall, even at extreme angles, but those are floors, possibly placed on one of those pillars while rotated on a shelf because floors don't like to snap to other edges while rotated

You can either sink it or build around with blocks (like in that image) or terraces. If it's a natural pond the calathea color is another popular option since it's green, so less pool water

Sadly some decor bring the grass back with them. You can place a rug underneath to stop it tho it'll be more visible with pavers

You get some recipes by completing the vault bundles after completing the temples, the rest you get by inspiration after crafting those

2. Move it away and do not put it down, but take an item from your hotbar (it will cancel its placement)

Pulling an item out of your hotbar using the number keys will "place" your first item away but only for you (client-side), when you'll reload your plot that item will go back to its original place by itself as server-side it was always there

Yeah I dont think I?m being able to do it ... because as I cancel by switching to another item, I cant place that second item for some reason

You don't want to actually place that second item--that's just to get an item out of the way without actually placing it. You can use any placeable item out of your hotbar and then just hit escape. The thing you moved will look like you placed it but the game still thinks it's in the original place. Place your second thing you want to merge or whatever, and then reload your plot and the thing you cancel placed will go back to where it was, merged with the second thing you placed.

Sorry if this is confusing to read. I can explain better if you need it.

I went back up to your original picture so I can explain with what you're trying to do... Place wardrobe 1 where you want it. Then pick it up and move it somewhere else but don't place it, this is where you hit the number of some other placeable item in your hot bar (it can be anything). Then hit escape because you can't actually place that random item. Go back and place wardrobe number 2 where you want it. Then reload your plot.

Try with a 2nd crate, place 1st one close, then place the 2nd next to the 1st but not connected with it, then group select from the 2nd, this will ignore part of the collision on the 1st crate an d you can take the 2nd afterwards

Using the Gourmet Bowl, I merged rows of them onto a single block. For the breakfast bar, I mase it 5 rows. Very tedious, but I think it turned out nicely!

I recreated it outside for better lighting. One plank is wide enough to cover two blocks!

This is the texture of the blocks, it's a gradient from light to dark grey, from one side to the other. So, they have one side light grey, one side dark grey and the rest is the transition
Same issue with the pillars and walls, the gradient goes from top to bottom (not sure on walls)

Just make sure the camera is looking roughly in the same direction when placing from inventory and match the pattern by rotating when not ig

@lean isle if you fill up your inventory with furniture plus one of each flow seed,then go to the statue. If it says inventory full, then it will not be flow seed. If you can get it ,then it will only be flow seed. Just leave and come back to reset until you get what you want. Kinda tedious, but will work.

The biggest problem here is that u are watching someone who doesn't even know that they are calling the glitch the wrong thing. What you are trying to do is called cancel placement, not ghosting. Try looking up "cancel placement Palia" and you should get better tutorials.

It will let u put it like this with just the cup, so all u have to do is cancel place the wall about 1/2 small square back, place the paver on top, then pick up the wall and place to get it to hang over right-

U just have to find the "sweet spot" where it turns green. Standing above the wall so u can look down helps

The limit for the stack is 50, if you are placing them on the ground try to point away from the previous floor while snapping,this will place the floor next to, but not connected to, the other floor pieces. This also removes the grass coming thru (most of the time)
If you still want to elevate them I suggest you place them this way on the ground and then group select from one and place where you want them, this will get around the stack limit since they are all placing as one and not individually

I had it all together on ground lifting it all as one was too hard to place as it was huge and you cant see where your placing it .. i took it all apart due to super frustration with whole thing . It was going to be so cool oh well

If you do something similar again, and manage to place all individually and not connected then group select from the piece that is easier to place from, I say this because when things are connected and you group select the focus jumps to the first item in the chain but when not connected the focus remains on the one you select from

If you want to be completely sure you are not connecting the floors place a square paver on top of the floor, group select from the paver, then snap in place, this way they won't connect on that snapping point.

as you can see, i actually used the round pavers, i made about 500 and sorted them into size piles before starting....... so my main entrance way are the flowers, i will say using the white as the main colourway with the grey didn't show off well...but if you were using solely butchers blocks, you will be fine. You mean an arch like the big elderwood ones or a trellis ? Either way, you could use the obstacle flick glitch (look it up on youtube it's easier to watch a tuto to understand it) just you can't rotate it much... You can only get it at 90, 180, 270, 360° rotation, not in between those

So I've discovered a way to buy stuff really really fast for making decor and we'll any other type of items you want to buy many of. No 3rd party app or anything and I'm on ps5. No fingers aching after either. 😂

You would need to sink the floors so they are level with where you want.
If you have space on the buildable area, I would make a platform big enough (making sure those are not connected), and then sink them all together with group placement, that way they're close to the anchor (so they are not yeeted to the entrance, although I have to actually test this) and then you can remove whatever is not needed

Other option (besides the suggested use of stairs and bridges) is to make a runway long enough and then rotate it so that it descends, but you will be constrained to the angles of the rotation, which not necessarily match the terrain slope

Idk about a video, but if u are able to sit the plushie on the chair/bed, and just want to move it further back but can't due to collision, all u have to do is cancel place to scoot it further back.

If not, u can use a dessert plate or something else, and sit the plushie on top of that in order to place it where it won't let u

To cancel place all u need to do is place ur object(bed/chair) down. Pick it back up and move it where u need it to be temp. locked. Do not place it. Instead, hit a number key with a starred fish/bug/food or a decor item in it, and it will temp. lock it there. From there, put ur item (plushie) u wish to "scoot" on top. Pick up the object (bed/chair), then place it back down normally, and it should activate the glitch.

That's only if u can't pick up and place the thing u are using as an anchor. Reloading is for things like merging etc. They are just trying to scoot a plushie further back in a chair

All u need to do is place ur bed down normally. Pick it up and cancel place it about 1 to 2 small squares further back. Put ur plushie on the bed where it is now, and then pick up the bed and place it back down normally and it should scoot back those 1 to 2 squares

if you use a big paver (its esy to pick up) you can use the flick method and it works great might have to mess around with where you place both items at the same time at to get it where you want it.

1. Place paver down anywhere
2. make sure plushie is in your inventory remember the number.
   3 Grab paver and line it up where you want it, look down so that you get the "something is in thew way" message
3. while you are getting the message place the paver and click the hotbar number associated with the plushie at the same time

Flicking is the cancellation method with extra steps, so if ur having issues with learning cancellation, I would recommend holding off on flicking. It's totally up to u tho, lol.

3 steps. middle step just make sure you are placing paver and plushie at the same time

once placed the paver will snap back to where you originally placed it, but you have to place the paver out of your inventory first or it wont work

Cancel placement is the core of almost all of the glitches used, and so I would recommend learning that before moving on to anything else. You also need to reconfigure ur settings and everything in order to flick. So it's a bit more complicated than cancel placement.

Ok, 2 things here:
There is connected and there is snapped in place but not connected
When you place on the ground you can place snapped but not connected, an example is if you can grab the previous floor and none of the others come along it is not connected.
This way you are no forming an stack (or chain) of objects.
When you place them up high there are no other option than connected to the previous ones, since there's no ground

Not rllly. You can sink it on a small paver and hide it in the stairs themselves, so u don't even see it. It's how I made my dock.

U just need a bridge piece that u can attach to the stairs so that u can place a crate or something on it to multi-select by. That way u can sit it on an anchor.

U can remove the bridge piece after

I used a stack of objects to sink mine to height, so if u go that route, the higher the stack, the more it sinks.

There are a few ways to do it. You can leave a single floor piece above ground and sink the rest off of it, or you could use 1 cup sinking and floating to sink the whole thing into the ground.

You can actually face the floor piece that is on the edge of ur plot grid, turn the grid off, and the floor piece you try to attach will go underground on it's own as well. You just have to move your mouse around till u find the spot

You can try to remake without connecting them or take the ones that are connected out a little, place a paver on top, then group select from the paver, this allows you to place it back without auto connecting since you are "placing a paver"

Yes, if you stack things in the tent you'll need to pick up/place the things that went thru, go out and back again to find the next layer in the stack
May need to repeat a couple times

none of the items left original plot they reappeared within boundaries on plot I was trying to send from when stacked on the fountain... it was the chatty plush from twitch rewards, the order of the___ plush and the dice that did not re-appear anywhere... guess plushies don't like being stacked on the fountain oh well I managed to move almost 175 plushies back just not those two. only moved them originally so I could flick ground items around on boardwalk figured they were the easiest to put back later.

anyone have a video they use when trying to cleanly add a whole floor on the second story of harvest houses? i can only find the 3rd story walkthroughs

I don't have a video but the way I did mine was to add a large room on the back of the harvest house, opening up the doorway completely. I then measured how many builders floor pieces would fill the space (about 4.5 x 4.5) and added a builders pillar where I would eventually place the floor. I built the floor outside my house using a builders pillar, placing the first flooring piece at the top on the side of the pillar (grid off) not snapped to the top of the pillar. Build out the rest of the floor from that first piece, place the first pillar onto a second to make the floor two pillars high, then place using cancellation. The bottom pillar will need to go in the gap between the house and large room but make sure it's on the Harvest House side of the gap otherwise you wont be able to remove the large room and place whatever you want there (I learnt the hard way!!!) so measuring is key. I placed to builders pillars to mark where mine would need to go so I wasn't guessing when it came to placement. If you don't know how to do cancellation, there are many tutorials on YouTube that will explain it but it's a lifesaver with building!

I'm putting all my crafters on what will be the designated community plot. I already reserved a space for Omurru and Peki (I'm actually finally down to 30 eggs vs 200+.) So... it's sectioned off as

Garden (Soil + Well) and x4-5 Seeders (Stations) flowing to eatery/kitchen (not stations.) Tree nursery nearby. Lounge area by kitchen is where earthworms are at for "table scraps" (x2 Stations.)

Barn sectioned off land. With pavillion "Barn."

Fishing segments next to the trail leading to Bahari (offset from the eatery.) These are not Stations.

Workstations x8, x1 Custom Workstation (not Stations.) Stations are x4 high-end wood processors.

On the opposite corner of the map is where refining goes, like rocks, gems, etc. I put a couple display gems under / on a wheelbarrow to make it look like a recent haul/spill (wish I could rotate the wheelbarrow!) I mine a lot, so x4 Heavy Duty Smelters and x3 glass (one 100% for lightbulbs.)

I have two fabric makers I stationed to look like a community/crafting lounge space for idle chatter and hands-on space.
