They are individually placed. Once I have done the arch on the ground I group select and place on shelf. After that point, I can still individually remove each block but they are still locked to the shelf even if it's a giant gash between the blocks.

I think it’s possible unless I’m remembering wrong. I have mine right next to each other, but I’m not sure if they are oriented the way you want. And there still is a tiny gap in the floor. But I think I was able to place them closer together before they were built, when I was just placing the foundation. You can’t move them after they’re built, though, or they won’t go back that close. When I tried to pick up and move after it was finished it wouldn’t place back in the same spot. (The escape key saved me, or I would have had to build another.)

1st getting it to this position and it has to be above your head; 2nd is where i cancel that pillar in front so i can put the light on it from below and important - that pillar has to be a tiny bit lower or it wont sit - and final, u can play a little with shelf being a bit angled

Use the log cabin wall decor for the branch part, upside down nettles for the foliage, and for the lights, you could do a few things. Poking candles out of the walls just enough to see the flame would be the easiest, tho.

You could also sink a bunch of wall lights in just enough that u see a part of the bulb as well

I read something (in the fishing channel probably) that no bait is actually not better, and that the patch report was confusing that. People are saying that they increased the likelihood of getting a chest with no bait, but that is being misunderstood that now using no bait is better. But it's just better than it was before, but glow worms are still better overall. So I have no idea anymore... I went back to using glow worms and I don't know if I'm getting more or not. Maybe?

Well, some of them probably are glitched, there was (a now not working glitch) ghosting that would allow you to (kind of easily) place doors and other housing items where they don't normally want to be.
Now you can achieve some effects like that with the "cutting tool" or with simultaneous placing with other people's help

Results are not the same but there are some options if you really want to do it

i'm very new with this so i don't know all the technical terms, but the shelves are pavers floating from one another and they are anchored to a pillar, then i think the term is "object flicking" - the pillars are hidden in the wall. youtube has a lot of really helpful videos and it's been a lot of trial and error ❤️

u would want to hide inside the stations some sort of surface, i kno some are using small building blocks crates; u can either cancel station out and put block on its spot and reload or put a pillar with a small rug on top of block and group select with rug selected to omit all collision there

if the build is not directly touching the ground, that might make the fences yeet to your spawn point (or most likely it's just because of the umbraan fence..)

in this case I used the umbraan fence pieces

in my experience, the other fences are trickier

My build is industrial shelving that the floor boards are attached to. It's a spiral step design around an umbraan tree.

Best choice of using the Builder Pillars. It's a strong touch.

OK, so this is subconciously piecing together now... because I was doing something like that uninentionally to make a table float in the air while working with LilaStern (she was coaching me.) I never sank anything, but oddly, somehow got it to stay floating against the house. x'D I'm not getting it, but getting there.

So with this float..... how does this apply to the floor piece for your deck? You don't need the pillars to keep it grounded.

I hid a pillar into my appletree to add mushroom lights to it for a glow. It's hardly visible. About to hide it even better and double-stack it cancellation method, to PERFECTLY string fever lights between a structure and the tree for a pathway.

The wall piece.... it snapped back to it's mounting point on the wall. Is the barrel the key indicator here?

if I didn't cancel the floor piece to the ground, and if I only placed the floor on the wall and then placed the barrel on top of it, it would fly to my spawn point. but because the floor piece is cancelled to the ground and with the pillar "yeeted" back, it anchors it to the ground, so that affects the barrel to stay on top of the floor piece on the wall.

I'm going to try the same with the fence now..

That is because it surpasses the height limit for that glitch. It works to about 6 small crates high above ground level if you anchor it to the ground like that. ❤️

You can change the color of furniture on the modification bench, you get it from Tish as well as the modification kits needed
Although in this case I don't know about that yellow, might be autumn but that's more orangey (like the curtains on the fireplace)

You cant place buildings on terraces, You can merge terraces into buildings or have them cancelled away and put the building in the same place.

I recommend watching some videos, but for the terraces I usually place a pillar down, pull it into my character, and hold the placement button while it says "Somethings in the way" and then hit the number key the terrace is in. Which places the terrace in the same spot to get it merged into buildings or other areas.

That counts as cancellation, but yes, this is definitely a vey different technique. It wouldn't let you place it on the terrace though, only sink a house piece slightly into the ground.

Obstacle flick: You need two items. Place item 1. (for example pillar) on the ground. Then you have item 2. which is IN YOUR INVENTORY (remember the hotkey number). THEN you take the item 1. (pillar) in your mouse AND HOLD IT, and you aim it towards yourself so that it says "Something is in the way". Then you press the hot key number. After that the 2. item should be forced to that place where you made the pillar say Something is in the way.

You must first purchase at least one of the recipes from the black market store in the Underground ( 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM in-game time) and when you start crafting , you will be able to craft more of the decor set items

To better understand it - when they took down trees and other items adding up to global limit they did it in a way that cut off hard all plots links between them, nothing loads on other plots except the one you are on. That's why there was such a mess just after the update.

So u can't ghost anymore but what has been ghosted stayed where it was, cut off its anchor permanently. Thanks to that I was able to destroy everything that was on my rooms graveyard ghosting plot :v

Someone please explain this to me. I am doing 2 sets of stairs with shelves. They are identical but mirrored. Placed on the same wood floor. Yet 1 of the stairs can be placed, no problem while the other get the stack would be too tall. There is 0 difference between the stairs in materials. Legit the only difference is that one goes 1 way and the other is spun the other way.

Can you double check if this is the case? Everything you described points to that floor piece not being the first element in the new stack you're trying to make.

Uuu I got sth for u that works surprisingly nice for diy burning wood, wait

week later found u a visual xddd I use this wood pile with small torches inside, looks better than with candles I think

I was already doing this but it's a bit big, lol. I may end up using the log cabin torches on their side so I can adjust how much wood is in there

plus I don't have to hide the little feets

Could somebody please explain why rotating the starting shelf results in the kite being so close to the ground, and how I would fix that? I would like to have the kite up in the air laying flat.

It's because you have turned it. Once u turn a shelf on it's side, anything you try to float on it is going to end up lower than the shelf. You need to adjust the shelf with cancel placement in order to get it to float higher.

Just know that bc it's been turned, the directions have also changed, depending on which way it was turned. So up is no longer up, etc.

Just pay attention to where the top of the shelf is. The top will always be up, the bottom always down, etc. they just have to move in diff. directions once turned bc of where they are facing if that helps. So if the top is turned right, right is now up, as an example

Dunno if it'll work better for you, but maybe the (spa day?) rolled towel stack in darker color could be scaled down wood pile for the stove. Then it gives you more flexibility/room to place a fire source? Anyway, I'm staring at a wood burning stove rn and yours looks really realistic ❤️

Yeah, I'm def. having an issue with the fire source showing. The wood looks great, but if I want the fire to show, u can see the torch tops too much

They won't allow you to hide most of them in the wall behind? Or, if you wanted to increase the "fireness", maybe you could place one of the floor vents under the wood or wall vent behind, so it looks like glowing embers. Then the torches not showing as much would be completely natural if the fires been banked a bit

If I set them further back u can't see the fire, just the ember sparks that come off of them and a glow... It's a much bigger pain than I thought it would be, lol. The log holder logs also sit at a slope, so I figure set the other 2 back more, and the one on the left u can see a bit of flame.

That's probably as good as it's gonna get if I want actual flames

Am i missing a step with flicking? Now my pergola is selected no matter what my inventory looks like but I still can't place it.

In that example, I didn't even have it available to select in the bar, it was in a different "2" spot. I know it takes patience, but I haven't seen this happen in the videos I've tried watching to learn the method.

If ur object gets stuck/pulled out of ur inv. no matter what button u hit, it's just glitching out. Hit the number key that has the item that keeps popping out once or twice and it will fix it. Or u can exit build mode and open it back up again and it will fix it

Have u made sure to adjust ur settings and everythign before trying to flick? Unfortunately there are a lot of tutorials that don't mention that part, and so that's where a lot of ppl get stuck
