Quite easy really Put your 1st shelf down, pick it up to move it away and press the key to your hotbar to take something out of it. Put the 2nd shelf in place and reload your plot

Lots of ppl have asked for darker colors, as the only set for now to have it is the Ravenwood, which has the least amount of furniture in it after the investigator one

Yeah. I know. We all speculated a black/white when they teased the new mod colour and then it turned out to be alabaster.

Plus in subria’s room, they have it applied to bellflower stuff so I’m pretty sure it’s applicable.

With the new UI, it also appears they just have the 3 base colours and those colours are assigned to specific areas on the furniture. So, theoretically speaking, would it not be a little easier for them to code in the mod kits than say a new furniture set

I did a little research and I think there are two different votives. One is a single candle you get from Ashura from a quest having to do with his wife (can't remember the name). But then there is another Elderwoods quest with Tamala that rewards you the recipe for the "whitestone votive" which is maybe both the same and different from Ashura's votive?

Looked it up, Ashura's quest with the votive is "Explosions Long Past" and Tamala's quest is "The Nurture of Shadows."

Also, it's definitely the NURTURE of shadows. There's another quest that is the NATURE of shadows.

This complete monstrosity was a pain to construct...but I like how it came out. A lot of detail work is still needed, but these are pretty good bones. Happy with my own take on a cave! Just wish it wasn't so expensive 😭 🤣 . I figured out how to float the terrace up there on my own. What I did was attach it like I was carrying it out of bounds. I then attached the small stone brick to a large stone brick. The terrace (somehow) became bound to the large stone brick when I picked up the small one. A small gap was left between the large stone brick and the terrace that I had to creatively fill on the ceiling. The gap, of course, was caused by the single stone floor I used. I placed the roof last after I built the crate wall, and the terrace successfully clipped through to create a nice ceiling. Happy it worked.

*I did remove the stone floor too, but it left an empty space.

you can use something small like a bowl or the kilima cups. I use the cups and what i do is i place it on the couch or whatever item i wanna merge and then click ctrl alt on the cup to select the cup AND item and then i can move it and merge the items together

Ah- the bowl method can do that too.

Put something small on the couch, and group "pick up" the couch/bowl, by using the bowl.

OR the cancellation method. The one where you switch between plots. Trial and error but do-able.

You have to adjust your settings first or it won't work. Turn frame rate down to 30, everything else on epic, and you can hold the mouse button in and then hit the number key if u have bad timing. Just use a smaller wall shelf, or other wall item to flick it on

You can also do it by connecting builder's pieces on a shelf to move it around via multi-select, or even attach it to a pillar and then hide the pillar in the wall. These methods r more difficult tho

You would have to use cancel placement to merge builder's floor pieces on the wall (adding pieces one at time, and cancel placing them out of the way to add the next), or merge the whole piece outside and then cancel place everything but the anchor out of the way and then add the floor piece by puttin it on the wall

If you want to keep the tables as the floor, u can just flick it on, or put a floor piece on top of the table and then add the rug. If you don't like that it sits floating on the floor bc of this, just sink the rug into the floor piece a bit

or the floor piece into the table. Plenty of different ways to do it

You have to use a small room, and then it should work. The problem is that you kept going wider on the rooms as you went further from the original socket placement of the hallway, so now the hallway on the side sits halfway into the room.

Sometimes they have to be connected "oddly" to get them to work (putting rooms on to each other and then moving them to another wall to get them to connect). It definitely is a headache. Especially when they should attach regularly but don't. Though I don't see why the small room wouldn't work?

Did you try just switching them around? Bigger room attach to courtyard hallway, and then the small room on the end of that?

Bc they patched ghosting the only way to achieve this rlly is with 2 ppl. You would put hallways or rooms with Kilima doors on them together by placing them down lined up at the exact same time to keep the hallways open.

Use a builder's pillar, place the light on it (if it won't let u place, make a line of them like a wall and it will turn green), and then cancel place ur tree out of the way. Put the pillar where the tree was and then switch plots. It may take a few tries to line it up the way u want.

Cancel placement is temporarily locking an item where you want it without actually moving it. There are 2 ways to snap the piece back, which is either leaving your plot, or picking up the item that the canceled piece was sitting on, and placing it back down normally. But all u need to do is, while holding the item u wish to cancel place, pull out a decor item/starred fish/bug/food from your hotbar via the number key it is assigned to

It locks it out of the way so that you can do what u need to do, like in your case avoiding collision with the roof, and then u just pop it back on after the fact with either of the ways I said depending on what u are doing (in your case placing the bottom pillar back inside will pop it back on). But it rlly is as easy as hitting a key lol. It just sounds a bit complicated

Take a pillar off of ur crate inside, take it outside and place it down. Place another pillar on top, or a crate on top depending on which you want. Grab that item u just put on top and move it far enough away from the pillar you placed it on so that it doesn't collide with anything when u pick it up to move it (since the item u cancel placed follows). Once you have it far enough away (you shouldn't have placed it at all) hit a number key that a decor item/starred bug/fish/food is in on ur hotbar, and it will lock it there. Pick up the pillar u had moved outside and then put it back where it was inside normally.

I know for my current plot and one's before, I've made a notes list in my phone with area and setup ideas, then I sketch out the plot on some paper starting with the buildings, then wanted outdoor areas, and it helps me get a good visual before hopping into things. Then I fill in the spaces between the preplanned areas with landscaping, flowers etc

it's floor pieces anchored together on top of the builer's bridge pieces. If you sit them on the end, you can cancel place and merge them like that.

take a wall piece, put a shelf on it, and then put a crate on the shelf. Place a chair or a couch on top of that and turn it upside down, and place it as far down as you can. Sit on the chair/couch and u can see underground to find it

u need 2 ppl to place them at the same time, or use a cutting tool depending on what you are trying to achieve. Try looking up solo detaching, and just make sure they aren't switching plots when they do it

It's a big issue and I hope S6 addresses it soon ❤️ though my conclusion wouldn't be anonymity as commit suggests, but just removing the current rewards for getting votes. There's like, maybe 2 from Ghibli that I don't care for. And they're still definitely watchable

u could angle another table, and just cover the edges with rocks

Honestly 1 table and a large rock should do it. You have the shape there already

and u can just put the table on the floor piece already there too

I was thinking the same thing... I tried red bc it's a common color for that style, but it's not the right tone. A more muted red like the cozy camping rug would be perfect
