of theirs nope, they can move stuff on your plot that are already there, but can'T add or take stuff

Yes that gives them editing permissions for your plot, but they will use yours. Even though they can pull things from their pockets they can't place them

All the sinking tutorials I’ve found use tables/things big enough to place other items on top of them. But I can’t seem to figure out how to sink fences. Someone had preserves jars floating on a builders floor and they did it with glitches I just dunno how

Place them on a builder's crate. 1 crate is floor height, so if you want it higher you'll have to float it. Hide the crate outside on the ground. It can go under the house itself, or hidden somewhere else outside

floated off a red present will also work, but the anchor has to stay on the grass or it'll jump to the front of the plot

to do that all you have to do is get your block as close as you can to where you want it outside and place it down normally. Then use a builder's piece (I use a pillar) and place it a ways behind the block so you have room to move it. Cancel place the block behind that piece close enough to where you can multi-select. Multi-select from the pillar and move it forward and place it normally to push it under the house. You can do this over and over as many times as you need to get it in place

I think coadredalert shows it in a few of his videos, like the attic one?

or maybe that was just canceling the item away... I think it was the nook video where he shows it actually

This is just my opinion, but you know how roofs usually have an overhang? I think little architectural details (or simulating them with decor) would keep it from looking flat. Just break up the solid single-tone wood. Truthfully, I have mad respect for ppl who build their own homes. It may be better to design what you want, but it certainly ain't easy 🙂 Oohh! Also, am awning or something over the main entrance could be cool

Dunno if it fits your intended direction, but I've seen ppl use steel pillars in a row, but set at an angle to look like a tin roof. Just a thought. As for overhang, I think anything that contrasts with the surface would balance it out. Like trim or something. I'm sure you can come up with better, that's just what my initial thought was 😄

What about adding big trees? That's usually my go-to when I feel I need more something-i add foliage

Trees are growing! I had the same thought. But adding any kind of decorative roof would likely require I take off my current roof and edit it and that would almost dismantle the entire building 😅 So the roof is gonna have to stay that way. But I added more logs to the front, got trees going... Hopefully that'll make me feel better for a bit 😂

The Elderwood flowers, you get thru that piksii bounce thing that happens in deep wood at 10pm palian time. The giant mushrooms are one of those.

Dunno if they fixed it, but ppl used to be able to request Elderwood stuff even if they hadn't had it before

I usually suggest people use online house blueprint tools since they often have assets to represent furniture, but your tool is so useful for visualization in palia's environment

was the paver placed on the ground normally(without cancel placement) before placing on the shelf (with cancel placement)? I saw earlier that you were calling cancel placement ghosting, so if you're confused by what I'm referencing it's that. Ghosting is a separate glitch that has nothing to do with floating/sinking.

Take your paver and place it on the ground normally. Pick up the paver and cancel place it on top of the shelf (hit the number key with the decor item in it on your hotbar to temporarily lock the paver into place) Take out the item you wish to float and place it normally on top of the paver. Pick up the paver and place it back down normally to activate the glitch.

So the only time you cancel place is to put the paver up on the shelf.

I can't even tell you how many times I've torn down and rebuilt or changed my house layout in the past week because I'm impatient and a perfectionist lol. Just finally started to dive into some of the glitches and building blocks in the past couple weeks and been playing for 6 or so months lol. Don't lose faith in yourself - you'd be surprised what you can come up with!!

if u used temporary "placing" sth away (with other item under hotbar) then its cancelation (or "cancel placement")

naah, luckily this one is the only important one, what ghosting was - having buildings anchored across plots, it is no longer possible

I don't have all the decorations unlocked yet but I'm going for more of a flower/plant cottage theme outside with maybe like a pond or something but I don't have a pond unlocked like I've seen on some builds. I do have quite a bit of flowers from bug catching though
