Hello! Has anyone ever had the issue of putting a prep station on top of a builders copper floor, and then when you come back to your plot the prep is upside down? I can't put it away either because it says I need to put the counter away first. But it's underground 😦 I just want to put it away rip

It does that if you try to place any crafters on a builder blocks indoor, for some reasons it need to be connected to the ground grid for it to stay still, on the house foundation doesn't apply that and they would jump away.

Elderwood Piksii Blossom dynamic event, in the deepwood at 8pm there will be notification for you to get ready and the event start at 10pm for you to jump around and collect floating seeds that have chance to drop the new flowers which you need, They don't have seed back when fully grow so just do the event for the number you needed.

If you wanna switch them as in switch their places, a room always needs to be connected to a house/room, however if you wanna switch the size... You'll have to redo it all (the room, not the house)

Then you'd have to move the room first, connect it somewhere random on the house temporally, move the hallway where you want it and relink the room However, all your wall decorations will go back to storage (the one on the room where you'll temporally put the room down as well)

I’m pretty sure you can only get flow seeds from completing the gardeners quest. Idk the quest name but he gives you a machine that gives you seeds and has the probability to drop flow seeds

Yeah. Sadly we can’t request an item we’ve never got. Once you get one seed you can request and someone might fulfill.

There's a small way to bypass needing to have the item once first for request actually, if it's needed in a quest and you never got it you can still request it from the quest's page But yeah, no quest with the seeds tho...

Thought I'd show the difference between the glitch builders who are designing things outside the plot boundaries compared to the "shady" player builders Plus to help out others who want to build outside their plot lines If you build straight down with the "ghost" placement and pillars, things will be automatically booted back to your plot entrance due to the height limitation below your plot. But, with the use of a shelf, it ignores the height limitation and allows players to build underground if you rotate your pillar stack. Sorry for the crappy photos but it's the best visual aid I can do without a video You can also "ghost" placement for your floor pieces and create a daisy chain to save on your decor limit (I'm not sure how to really explain this well without a video 😭 ) This was done on the Galewind Sanctuary plot since I wanted to place furniture in the open platforms around my plot The last photo also shows how I hide my pillar anchors behind trees so no ugly pillars can be seen Hope this helps those who want to expand their plots without having their creativity restricted! Edit- Forgot to add, all furniture is either on builder's floor on a red Christmas present or directly on a red present to avoid them being sent to the front of my plot ^^

Not wallpaper, just wall size. The side walls in my trophy house have medium attached walls to the harvest house and where that is connected I sometimes run into this issue. Seems it's sometimes the wall itself

These are the Flotsom Large and Small candles! You get them from the Baharhi Bay rummage pile. Best way to get recipes is to fill out your inventory with items that don't drop from the rummage pile as well as maxing out your ammo bag and running to the pile to see if you can loot with a maxed out inventory. Should drop a recipe

No, apparently they can free-place items without anchors even place rooms freestyle and at angles. We also have a bunch of new players who seem confused on what is glitching vs exploit building. I'm unsure if the height limitations still affect items if they're freely placed by a outside program but some new players seem confused. They mistake glitch building as cheating.

when it comes to unintentionally duplicated items that are one-off, it's not very easy for them to track down that data without searching through the player behaviour history, and even then it's not easy if it's something gained a while back if the data is linked to the server history data they were using when the item was gained; servers close entirely when no longer populated, so the data goes with it. they'd probably be less likely to really punish a player over instead just deleting a copy of the duplicate item- they gain nothing from punishing someone but one more angry player who can spread bad press and lose out on more potential income.

ultimately, people can report as much as they want, but S6 is knowledgeable of glitches they allow and have the dev tools to inspect plots for balance breaking behaviour. S6 is the only real important factor in the reporting process, as they will look into reports/plots with tons of reports, but have final say on whether those reports are legitimate.

You can always just "cancel push" floor pieces there? Make your piece, put it as close as you can, then take a builder's piece, cancel the floor behind it as close as you can and then multi-select and move forward to push it into place

And if you want to use rugs, you can just use a tiny paver as the anchor and put the rug on top

at the end of a day, a (good) f2p game dev does NOT want to ban players, or punish them in a way that would put them off playing for good. banning is the absolute last resort, sometimes to a detriment.

also for others (not particularlyyou): keep in mind that if a genuine exploiter (not glitcher) isn't banned after reports, don't assume that they aren't going to be. the best banning practice for exploiting players is to do a ban wave later to obfuscate the reason why they were banned. that way it's harder for the banned player to adapt their methods.

otherwise, an instant punishment or ban after the behaviour just teaches them "oh I'll just do that differently/won't do that" and keep doing whatever else.

Mmm, this is true. Think I'm just touchy on the subject after having to explain to a friend not to call glitching exploits as they mean different things and can get people in trouble. There's also been a rise of people calling legit glitches as exploits and hacks thus why I called them "shady" players as unless I have proof a player is using a exploit, I don't feel comfortable calling them "hackers" or "cheatets" off the bat. Take your shelf with the anchor on it, and turn the shelf sideways and place it. Pick the shelf back up, without moving it from the position and rotate it so that it is horizontal and cancel place it using your item key. Put your item that you want to float on top of the anchor, and then pick up the shelf and place it normally to activate the glitch.

You will notice that it may sit a little above or below the anchor bc when you rotated the shelf, the anchor position changed. Depending now how high/low or close/far away you want your floated item from the anchor, you will have to adjust the placement of the shelf before cancel placing it.

When doing so, know that when the shelf is rotated, the directions in which you move the shelf change, so if you turn the shelf right, up is now right, down left, etc. And depending on which way you turn your shelf, the top of your item will point in the opposite direction. So if you turn your shelf right, the top of the object will go to the left.

Cancel placing is when you take either a decor item, or a starred fish/bug/food (you can also use a honey lure), and assign it to a number key in your hotbar. Instead of clicking to place the item you are moving, you simply hit the number key your item is in and it will lock the item you had in your hand into position temporarily

Bc you don't have an issue with not being able to stand directly on top of it and seeing where you are aiming. At least for me personally. Plus it has the added benefit of snapping to the center of things depending on where you're placing something.

You can use another terrain piece, or a builder's piece, etc. as your anchor. Just put a builder's piece on top of the terrain piece and multi_select to put it on your anchor

My waterfall pieces are tilted on smaller terrain pieces, and I have rocks on builder's blocks. No red present needed 🙂
