Out of curiosity, did anyone else not upgrade to the grand harvest house? I knew I'd be intimidated by large spaces and stuck to the regular harvest house and no more than 3 additional rooms.

when it was released I tried...and took it down later to never use anymore :v but I was also a small-medium room kind of a person, they are easier to make cosy and nice

and I was raised in a small flat as a kid XD we had such a small apartment that I can't even imagine a giant room to be "home" XDDDD

oh this is me when it comes to outdoors, that flat was in concrete block, whole life in a big city, I can now fully make my dream forest everywhere on all plots after update XD

finally had motivation to farm enough essence for the camp decor to have a closer look at the hedges and cypress and they look even worse than in their promo material

I'm glad that we finally have hedges but the texture quality of them is abyssal, they feel completely out of place
at least the hedges don't look as bad as the cypress bush
(especially considering that they have good looking cypresses already as foliage.)

I kno im speaking about this all the time BUT sth went wrong with camera collision this update, I can look under tables if I move camera too high, I cant use hedges as "walls" bc even if i hide a block wall inside I land with texture close up, I cant finish my baba yaga house bc i made it with "custom" blocks - normal furniture :V

I really tried to make it work but just hated it for myself. Some people make it gorgeous! But I like smaller cozier builds

if i had a habit of leaving my plot more often i would mind the rest XD the main areas of EW are much better tho, and they are not meant to be one time only, if it means they get to focus more on fixing worse thing im fine :V

trust me, take a shelf, put on the front, put a pillar+floor attached to it (take the window down tho for more space) put a block on the floor, rotate, put another, do it few times to make it visible, take it out of the front wall and see it compressing into nice shape

first you do it on top of the middle crate like you did it there. then you put the pillars where they need to be. after that, take off the middle crate. then take the left pillar and put it exactly where the previous crate was but do not put it with left click, just press a number from your inventory. after this step just do the obstacle flick on top of the pillar, take the pillar and put it somewhere else. hope this doesnt confuse you lol

Yea…for those that need focus or need a place to hide in from the lights and noises around the plot…like the purple landscape is a good example of this would be if someone needed the sensory booth cuz of the fear of falling, the flashes of that plot, they have the option of using a sensory booth so they can still join the cooking party

Ik people in cooking parties can be a bit distracting when it comes to being bored and jumping around or even shooting fireworks i try to accommodate the best i can ofc

Its just hard to come up with a build that isnt a boxits ruining my aesthetic of the theme

Don't worry, the items are not gone per say, they just moved elsewhere around your plot Reloading the plot should fix it temporarely (at least until they patch the bug), however you'll have to reload each time you change between plots...

Yes, they’re on a stone builders block (has worked well for me in the past) but this is the first time a crafter hasn’t just teleported to the front of the plot.

Not in the sky, I grabbed my floors and put them up 30 blocks to see if it was in the ground and still can’t find it.

Yeah with the current bug where the item being grouped the who knows where when switching plot it's quite a trouble to find them now. Usually when switching plot and relog a few times the location of the crafter/smelter will change bit by bit (happened a few day ago) #🏡│decor message to #🏡│decor message

switch to an empty plot - reload that plot (exit to map and back) a few times - pray

totally feel your pain - my "LakeHouse" had open walls which extended out onto the lake for dock fishing - it was a cooking plot and weekend house made to be able to handle every recipe in the game pre .192 - But now the "summer pavilion type open walls" have been closed up giving the place a claustrophobic look. /sigh.... not going to touch it for a while .

Idk if anyone answered you yet but, you can look up what’s called “flicking” and “sinking”

Essentially, I used an object I could place the blazers on- usually a red present or something similar. (Cutting board too) place it on, then pick up again, move the blazer off the object, (as far as you want) but don’t place. Instead you want to select an object on your inventory. (This cancels the placement) don’t place anything, but go back to your anchor item (red present) and move it. The blazers should fly off in a direction if you did it right. Then you can move the present and the blazers will go wherever you want.

option 1 - learn cancelation, just cancel out of way anywhre the braziers and remembering where they were (u dont need to bc u got nice frame around xd) place blocks, reload plot
option 2 - try what u do with bowl but its a pillar+rug on top of it and u group select by the rug, same as bowl

i was going to decorate my shipping bin because i saw something online about building out of bounds by making the floors the base of it but i can't seem to place it the right way :/

You could try to take the piece meant to be under the bin, move it away and cancel the placement, then put the floor right where you put it, the second piece will snap back to it (At least it should)

Make a square using 4 make sure they aren't connected then use group select them move it close to the bin
