I put the rugs on top of a builder floor and clipped them that way. It's a "non-glitch" method that still works!

You just have to pick up the builder floor to move it which takes some careful camera angles

well - they said stuff about "creative use of game mechanics" and a hotfix, you're right on that one, but they edited or removed that message. nobody has a clue what the hotfix should have fixed, bcs even plots of users without ghosting are messed up (same reason, but fixing that won't bring ghosting back)

the Elderwood set has some nature inspired ones and some Makeshift items are nice to use

okay, guys -

1. ghosted houses were cut out bc they disconnected any links between plots that initially allowed ghosting, fixing probability: low, restart wont help
2. u see missplaced items when u switch plot (top view from list of plots u have), it cames back to normal if u reload that specific plot (go to kilima and back, restart game etc), meaning - one plot during server session is the one that is looking normal for u, positioned this way, fixing this is their high priority
3. all glitching is fine, all besides mentioned room ghosting that is no longer a thing (for now, who knows)

plz share this so others wont panic

and best - dont use houses they boring XDDDD (jokin u know it)

My best tip is to spend early game collecting recipes and decor items like landscape items from kenli in the town hall. Mostly being able to do neat stuff is building a collection to play around with

I took so many trees off my growing plot cause my main was at cap (before they upped it) and Appy said it should of been fixed this patch so I was kept holding onto them it takes SO long to grow trees

It's your life, obviously do what you want. But I'd hate for you to tear it all down and then have them patch it and fix the problem. Personally I'd take a week or so to focus on other stuff in the game or start building on a new plot, not mess with the old one, and see if they fix it.

I play without glitches and my house loads fine but if I change plots then the plot I change to is all messed up. I have to log out, log in for it to fix itself each time I make a plot change. Very tedious.

no we were able to have 8 per plot, but only the 8 "heighest tier" ones counted towards your storage space limit

it is now completed and i got 2 decors LOL coz in 2023, i complained about not getting it and they gave it to me then, i had pics giving Einar the 10 pebbles ( i did the that coz players said it was broken)

well, that was how it worked before the update.
you had 8 iron chests, you got 10k storage space.
if you had more chests, it didn't even matter which ones, could have been wooden ones

tbf it still counts that way, if I open one of my wooden chests it still shows 10k storage

The other chest on different plot acts as an access point to, so on the plot that have 8 iron chets that determine the limit if taken and replaced with lower tier chest, the limit drop even when having many iron chets on different plot, from what I experienced.

I actually came here to complain about this exact thing. Look at the dev blog video. They are clearly connected. There are no gaps in between. You cannot do this in that actual game. You would have a one square grid space between them.

They clearly know what the players want, but they fail to deliver on this one detail that would make it go from good to great!

I don't imagine that it would have been that hard to account for this. To shrink the actual placement area without shrinking the visible area, so it owuld be very easy for anyone (without glitching) to keep these hedges connected.

There are items in this game currently that are larger visibly than they are in the space that they take up, and it allows them to be placed slightly clipped into other objects.

If you are trying to lay it on it's side, you have to use rotational floating, and/or rotate a stone block, stick it to it, then put it on the wall. From there cancel placement will get it placed where you want.

The problem is that the bottome is bigger than the top on the pillars, and it curves, so it makes it hard to get it just right

just make the top a bit wider and widen the back and you're good. I'd go at least 5 pillars on top.

It doesn't look that bad really. Mine has the block as the back. The shadows help blend it. Also don't turn it to the quarted one with the little piece in the middle bc it's brighter than the rest of the block

You have to understand how the group selection method works the way it does to understand it's limitations.

When you group select, the entire stack takes on the properties of the item you're group selecting from.

Cups/bowls are small, so when you group select from them, the entire stack clip radius is rather small too. Cups/bowls can go almost anywhere because they are small, but they cannot go inside walls, so you'd never be able to put things inside of walls with this method. However, because they are so small, you can get pretty close to the wall before you start experiencing clipping.
