You can either line them up and cancel place them out of the way to place the next, or flick them into place. I did both. Some are even floated on pillars and sunk into the wall where they wouldn't go.

Obstacle flick, or canceled. Pretty sure I recently used canceling on mine though I don't remember if it stayed or not. You can also do the original ghosting trick as long as the plot you're ghosting from and onto have the same landscape. Just have to play with finding the spot and timing

I think I don't understand what you mean, no? The cooler lid is at a weird angle that doesn't match any of the possible tilting angles we can do. I cancelled the red present (the wanted distance) then placed the tree normally, then changed plots and it looks like this at the moment. let's see what happens if I go to Kilima and come back...

I went to Kilima and back. Apparently it's still attached.

because it says something is in the way, we need to cancel place the tree elsewhere while we move the present closer to the house

after you have cancelled the tree and moved the present, you need to hop from plot to another and come back.

Depends on the item, most are craftable and you buy the starter recipes at Tish's shop, but rugs and frame for example are only buyable (aside from a few that are from events/exploration)

Yeah, anchor a sunken floor to a paver that stays in the plot limit, then link floors to said sunken floor After that, you can put pretty much anything out of bound on those hidden floors and it'll stay

but it doesn't necessary need to be food to cancel place. you can almost use any item basically.

@narrow oasis So you do this - Put the block down (mine has the stove on it already). Now cancel place it out of the way and put a paver where the block was. Pick up the block again and cancel place it onto the paver, then pick up the stove and place it on the block. Pick up the block and set it down again and it will just barely float it. This is the height you want for it to poke out of the table.

put the block as close as you can to where you want it. Put another block behind it but not attached. Pick up the block with the stove and cancel place it behind the other close enough to where you can multi select them (by the stone one). Move the box forward and place.

Make sure you don't put the block too far behind the first one or it could push it so far into the foundation that you can't get it out. If you have to do large distances, make a connected chain.

It's basically just cancel placement using a chain of items to move something.

i put the bay windows on the Med. rooms when they werent in the location that they are in now, like they would be apart of the large room on the top right, put the window in, wait tell its down then move the whole room where it is now, it was vary difficult 😅 but i love the way that it looks, only really big struggle is, if i want to move it and once i move it, it will not go back unless i undo everything (which puts everything i have for deco away as well , having to redo deco all over again) so i have to be careful otherwise i love it

if you don't use cutting tool you will have a door if just normally ghosting with a house

basically you attach a ghosted hallway to another house, moving the hallways anchor house from another plot

eventually the hallway will connect to the other house

then the attached hallway will behave little weird (it gets sucked in and out if you move and place the house)

What you can do is: move the small room on another harvest house. Place your corridor where you want it. Move that small room back to where you wanted it in the first place. It should work.

Tiny Dragon made a tutorial for that exact issue you're having @sweet sundial. You just need to work those rooms together on another harvest house and then you should be able to place them again where you want it.

ahh you’re totally right! sorry for the false hope. i think blue roof is only available on the default main housing and the side units (like pavilion and gazebo) are defaulted red roofs. and last i played there wasn’t any blue roofing :(

So you out a stone box on a shelf that’s attached to two wood walls. Then basically rotate the shelf and place the brick. For this one I actually did two different sides, one with a middle block and one without. One of the sides was rotated and placed to fit the other side.

The pattern was 2 blocks straight, rotate it once then place 1 block, rotate it once then place 1 block, rotate it twice then place one blocks, then for the middle block rotate it twice and place one blocks.

I hope that makes sense. I’m not on the PC atm. 😬

yes. house wall is fine as well (as long as not front/back wall of a harvest house) But I found a tent quite useful.
Direction matters. facing the back of your plot from the start till you put group on the wall.
multiselect the shelf, so you can rotate the whole group upside down.
then aim the pillar, multiselect, to take the whole group off the wall.
rotate the whole group 180 degree, to where you want them to be,
then put it down

Some items are better using pavers than the builders floors.

Did you try picking up the shelf and placing it to activate the glitch instead of the floor piece? Sometimes doing it the way you did breaks the glitch. It could also be that it is snapping to the ground below it. That happens with floor items. Not sure if that vase is or not.

U don’t. It’s the anchor of the vase. U can move the floated vase with it tho

If u r new to this I would suggest present for u, it’s neither too small or too big. But you can use literally anything as anchor as long as u can place smth on it (table, building blocks/floors, chair, dessert bowl…)

It's not a full example but it will get you a good start for what you need to do, and also shows me using the same anchor.

I think when i did my arch, I laid out the log pieces to the side for measuring to know where to put my anchor at.

This ghost is super easy to do, but I put mine up against the edge of the plot, so I had to build a little U out of rooms and push it off grid to get the front of it on.

Thank you for the kind words! I actually have a chair in there but it is behind me in the shot, i used a log cabin armchair. I thought the cushions matched and looked so comfy (not sure about the armrest though). I know that feeling all too well for a much needed chair in the nursery😂

Are the builders wall needed there ? If not, go check out @hard token 's plot, he has a nice little pond nook between 2 buildings (Or many ideas in general to fill in spaces)

No, you can still use everything without trouble (and everything you add or change will also change in time for your plot on tour)
