Without flicking u need to anchor it to sth and use cancelation and later hide the anchor

You could always try to use something you would already use in your decor as the anchor, so it's not taking up your limit for nothing

As other said, obstacle flick is what I would do.

However, you can also use the group select cancellation to get it to work. No floating/anchoring required, but it's really complicated to explain.

• Put shelf close to where you want it.
• Put a building block on top
• Grab the shelf
• Cancel the placement on a different wall
• Place a pillar close to the building block
• Group select from pillar
• Move in the direction you want the shelf to go*
• Place

*You need to plan this part in advance as you won't be able to go in certain direction depending on what wall you use.

Basically you're doing the typical building block group select/cancellation to move it, but instead of doing it on the ground, you do it on the wall.

Ah, so this is a way to do anchorless placement then? I cancel placed it into the wall using pillars and a building block. I may try this, though, since it would save me having to leave the pillar in the wall.

I think the wallpapers you have look nice for the vibe! You might just be feeling iffy because it’s lacking in decor right now. I’d say decorate one room in that style, maybe clip a tree or two into the wall to get some leaves popping in for a witchy effect, and see how you’re feeling after

if u can't flick there is no other way than using the red present but u can sink the present by cancelation (but if u on pc its much easier)

I wish all shore had the wood instead of being solid blue most of the time. I feel like most modded items have this problem where they are over colored and look more like plastic toys than real furniture

ahhh yeah if you’ve done the same layout, especially in a diff style, your brain might just be used to that old one still 😭 if it helps, some sets I’ve found work really nicely for the witchy style are makeshift and log cabin. if you’re going more for elderwoods try ravenwood and moonstruck

So many details of items get lost recoloring because it makes everything the same 2 colors instead of having more complex items, like moonstruck as the strongest example that can have up to 5-6 colors in its base form in like the bed and shelves.

Crazy? Nah, it's simple. First, start with an upside down wheelbarrow at a slight angle on a shelf. Move it down slightly and to the left. Rotate it counterclockwise 90degrees. rotate the platform 90degrees. aim a block at the center of the wheelbarrow, and spam click to flick a wall item onto a floor grid.

It feels like it varies by the object you're flicking, and the surface you're doing it.
Like flicking trees for example, I feel like it only works if I press both buttons at the exact same time.
But other objects/surfaces I have to mouse click slighty before I number press.

And it just takes time to figure out which is needed based on feel. It's super hard to explain it.

It's why I don't make tutorials on how to do anything that involves obstacle flicking any more, or at least heavily try to avoid it.

the 2 floors with one of them with terrace on top (get it on it by group selecting with a floor on top of terrace), put tree, cancel away terrace and floor, grab 2nd floor that is your anchor, move close to house, let it snap (if the tree wont follow just go to kilima or other area)

If you moved it the way I showed, it would open up the entire area where your garden is now. That would definitely give you more space.

I really like the edging personally - I love the moss at the bottom and I prefer the shorter height so we can see all the plants, plus the wood tone matches your flooring nicely...but if it's really messing with your item limit, I think the planks are a good substitute.

I can't get the wall on some of them bc it's a large attached to a medium, so it covers that part of the wall. I tried scooting a room close to it, but the back end of my house is right on the edge of the plot

Ok, so assuming you want to continue with straight pasth, rather than curved? I would do something like this -

Blue circle is a pond area, red circle and rectangles are pathway (not sure how you plan to build out) red is for the house you said you wanted wrapped up toward the conservatory, and I didn't know what you wanted to do with the space in the bottom left corner

So basically remove the fencing and make another center piece area to transition to different directions. Doesn't have to be a fountain

If you want to do curved, though, i would curve the path up to the pond area, make a slightly curvy one to the door of the house, and another going to the corner for whatever you put there

And suuround the pond with terraforming , kind of like a hill to cut off that back corner while leaving room for a path to Bahari

Yellow is for whatever decorative thing you decide to put, green is terraform pieces, and the red circle on the path is a circle, lol. Fill the center with a tree, flowers, whatever

I would recommend a garden in the bottom left hand corner, and the other yellow rectangle will be surrounded so I'd go with something cozy in that area
