I don't think its over cluttered, I do however think a few things make it seem that way. Where the shrine is, I would stick to smaller flowers / flower patches and remove or sink in the big ones. I.E. the white patch that looks like eggs on top. Flower pots not part of that assessment.

Also, my eye goes right to the wreath above the window and not the phoenix in the middle. Not sure which is supposed to be your focal point, but that's where my eyes go. Not a right or wrong, just an observation.

On the bookshelf side, may I suggest more variety in size and shape of bottle. The variety of color is wonderful. Same applies, remove or sink in bigger flower/patches. Stick with the smaller.

Aquarium side looks alright, could use a bit more clutter actually and less of the big flowers. more of the small. Maybe some of the flotsome things....the li'ls plushies?

thanks for advice, the big flowers also was something that annoyed me a bit, but I wanted more diversity, thinking of replacing them with umbra lights, is there a way to places more then 1 smaller fish tanks on a bigger one (at the same level and not above each other) and the focal point is the phoenix, maybe ill replace it with a diff wall piece

Are the two rooms, beside the room your trying to put the porch on, bigger than the room in the middle? Is it a small room? The porch doesn’t seem to fit within the walls.
It could be other objects inside or outside being too close but I don’t think the porch likes your room size, something looks off

trees, to stay on their spot need some sort of connection to the ground or to be flicked - flicking is only possible not only on pc but also only by the plot owner, with that i cant help (i touched switch once in my life :v)

But when the present has sunk then just remove the pillar. Or if you need to move the pillar+ present then take a big crate, place it next to the pillar and move them all.

Or then you just place the crate elsewhere, and the the pillar next to it and cancel place, then group select the crate and move wanted distance and place.

I don't think you can use the hoe with the soils under the ground level, however you can use it while it floating or above the ground :v

Basicly hold one deco item in your hand where you want the pergola until it say something is in the way. Have the Pergola in your hotbar then place the item in your hand and rigth after press the hotbar key where your Pergola is.

If you are grabbing rooms/buildings from your Housing menu really fast, sometimes the games can't keep up and gives you the wrong item, but the item it gives you remains place-able as if it was item you intended to grab.

This is how I once got a hallways section on the front of my harvest house when I was trying to put bay windows in.

yeah, all (or a good portion of) the trees count towards you plot. when ew dropped i picked up everything from all of my plots and said that i had 39 items down. the only things that i had still down were my chests and something else but not enough for 39 items. i believe it counts the trees that are not in the building area from when you started your plot

Some of them are super easy, some are definitely more difficult. Once you learn one you'll definitely learn more. I think it depends with the voting cause some people save tickets to get boosted for voting, other vote 4 vote groups, or just simply putting their plot up and calling it a day.

These two videos helped me out a lot with learning how to glitch. And if you get enough tickets (150 i believe) you can feature your plot so more people see it so its a easy way to get more votes, but it takes a few weeks to earn that much.

as a freelance creative person...people are uhhh not great sometimes and will go to honestly shocking lengths to steal others work. Sorry you guys are dealing with this. With something like this where its gaming creations and technically not "original" creative work your options are somewhat limited - you can't exactly have a TOS or anything like that (and people violate those even when you do tbh), but contacting someone to take it down (as you did, albeit unsuccessfully), watermarking photos (not foolproof but deters many who cant be bothered to photoshop it out...but does tend to ruin the aesthetic of the image), and posting your work yourself somewhere online first (so you can say hey look, i made this actually) are really your only options. 😔

I figured out how to multi select on PlayStation!!

So multi select is already defaulted assigned on PlayStation. BUT you don't have a prompt that says "Multi Select"
So what you do when you grab more than one items HOLD L2 and then grab!

hey Palians ! i come to u with a question ! I want to attach a shelf on the stone Pillar, but somehow palia doesnt recognize the size of that pillar as walls, so i was wondering if someone had a glitch that would fit my question ! I add the pictures so that yall can have an idea of what im trying to do ! ty in advance ! (ps; i tried to do the wooden paver technique, but the shelf doesnt want to attach on it either)

The only way to get around this is with cancel placement, if you're trying to put a bunch in one spot.

She meant turn the pillar on it's side using the shelf, then put the cabinet on. That way when you take it off the shelf, it's sitting horizontally. Like so. I did notice that you have to put the shelf towards the lower end of the pillar for it to turn green though.

No it's super easy as long as you are on pc. You just place your first plushie normally, then pick it up and move it out of the way, but instead of placing it down by clicking or using V, this time you hit a number key with a decor item in it. This will lock it into a different place without actually placing it so you can put down another item. When you switch plots, or leave and come back, eveything snaps back to it's original place.

Hmm this is going to require some experimenting for my case. It might be simpler for me (PlayStation) for to switch plots because right now things just stay where I place them. Also, leave and come back? Like closing the game or stepping outside the plot?

Im not sure if you are able to do it on Playstation or not. Are you able to access the items in your bar while placing things?

Then cancel placement isn't an option for you... The only other way around it that I know of is to have an alt, or a friend help you place things at the same time to avoid collision (you can only place down 2 items this way). Or have someone with a pc do it for you.

Floating. Either with a red present, or with a builder's piece if you don't have one.

Yep. Floating it without a present takes a few extra steps but you can float all terraform piece sizes. You still have to hide the anchor though

I think I'm going to have to find a way to "hotkey" because I can't** place an item from my hot bar while I have something in hand or looking at things.

Oh, then you can do it!

The steps are, Take the plushie you want and put it in it's place, then pick it up, move it out of the way (don't place it), and take something out of your hotbar that is a decor piece. You'll notice that the item that was in your hand is stuck where you took out the hotbar item. Hope this makes sense. When you are done repeating until you have all your plushies, switch plots or leave and come back and they'll all be on the bed.

Any. What you want to do is put a builder's piece ( I used the floor) on top of the terraform piece. Then use multiselect to move it around. This will allow you to float it like any other piece. It takes a big setup to fit it onto a shelf though

@fringe swallow Coderedalert on YT made a short for floating floor items. It's in the description of his attic video if you need a tutorial. He floated stairs but it works for terraform pieces too.

I need to show a video of this because it's silly. My interaction button and placing things are the same. So the game takes priority of "moving an object" rather than "placing an object" for me. So I need to find a work around like hot keying.

Yeah, even with some pc glitches we have to mess with settings. It's a pain.

They do it using a dessert bowl. There's a tutorial, same one I just mentioned, that shows you. Just watch the video, not the short linked in the description

Try cancel placing some of the top ones out of the way and see if it works.

Make sure you put it on the wall in a way that if you move the shelves, it's not clipping into anything or it'll still be red

If you plan on making the room brighter, and adding pops of tan or peach, then 3.

And 2 would work for maximalist design, or if you really want colors to pop.
