You could use builders floors that you put against the wall Aside from shelves, it's the most glitch free method

Sure, there are quite a few glitchers here that happily help people figure out their glitches There's also a few youtube channel that explains the basis and more advanced techniques quite well to learn those (Tiny Dragon Studios and Coadrealert are the main ones I've been watching)

If you mean just applying the custom roofs to the roofs, making a staircase out of chests, starred fish/bugs, or just furniture you can run around on the roof and apply it that way!

I have studied every glitch video I could find on youtube (including floating, flicking, merging, out of bounds glitching, sinking, etc) - if I could express in words the pain, confusion, frustration, joy, hopelessness concoction of feelings from the hours and hours I spent viewing these videos and working along side of them - sometimes multiple times... xD I've been able to glitch some plush into chairs, make a flowers post tree (lol) and merge a couple cabinets, for now. Somewhat proud of that accomplishment (we all gotta start somewhere, i guess) - but I'm for sure not giving up! There's so much to create and do! I know all about tiny dragon studios (such a sweet guy!), but my brain is too fried to recall coadrealert atm (its 3:00am here). I've heard about an asian youtuber named anna? Not sure who it is or where to find them, but I heard she does some pretty amazing videos (I've tried searching everywhere but alas no success!)

For me the best way to learn glitching was first coadredalert building glitching tutorials and then Drake Lance teaching me like holding my hand and forcing me to learn furniture glitching🤣🤣🤣 When I learned the necessary basics (like Voidness’s obstacle flick and kel’o’ly anchorless floating, and unknown Cancel Method (tho I learned it from Kit Temple), I have also evolved myself and created things no one else has ever done. And that is the best part of learning. And actually everyone is benefitting from that too. It’s like evolution of glitching. In that case I also need to mention vital player for it like Tiny Dragon and Unofficial Palia Housing.

So far my favourite is cancellation method. It helps me a lot especially in tight places and having things on top of another. That, sinking and floating, I think, are very easy to do for beginners and you could get by already with lots of things + creativity. My brain doesn't want to tackle complicated glitching 😅 ...so I guess I'm good for now.

As a beginner I would suggest to do the group select glitches. Where you just place an item (ex gourmet bowl) on top of another item like idk a table... And group select the bowl. It will allow you to move the table and merge it with other items.

It depends... Are you going for a LED kind of lightning or a warmer one ?

For the yellow-y warm glow I find the large/small Kilima ceiling lanterns + the Homestead large/medium/small floor/table lamps to be best. They pair well together, their light tones match, and they can be placed around things pretty well.

The brighter, but vaguely LED-like lighting I think the wall Industrial lamps + ceiling chandelier + floor/table Capital Chic lamps to work well.

I tend to mix and match a LOT of lights, using them as clutter. It keeps the room bright and adds some variety.

Other options I like:

warm glow: emberborn table lamp, Kilima lantern (ceiling; high hang), makeshift chandelier (ceiling; low hanging), PalTech ceiling fan (high-ish hang)

brighter light: Valley Sunrise chandelier & hanging lamp (both pretty low), Bellflower table lamp, Bellflower standing lamp (floor only)

I find this happens with rooms of different sizes. One soution is do the wallpaper on the outer wall the same you want the interior of the room you're attaching.

How many rooms and bay windows does this take? I’ve seen how they have 3 bay windows ghosted together, but I’m not sure how you’d actually make it. Unless it’s having two existing rooms with bays and ghosting the third in the middle with two open concept sides. That would be like 4-5 rooms just to make one ?

It is two large rooms open concept so 6 bay windows totals, the camera perspective is long when zoomed out make it look big 😅

I think it depends on what look you’re going for. The stone is very cold. The wood and terracotta ones are very warm. Even the flag stones are warm. So the stone really matches together and the warm ones match. Square stones are good for a clean organized look, the wood ones are good for rustic looks. You can make flower shapes out of the flag stones and wood pavers. And then the wood pavers I use for tons of things, they’re the most useful I would argue.

The only glitch that I know works there is the group select method.

since if you normally put the present on it it would float the height of the present, put it on the shelf and drag to the ground so it sits flat, and drag the present away the distance u want the pergola away from the present. Dont click on the present bring out an item using the number key of a placeable item in your inventory.

You can easily hide the present its attached to with one the gardenias

There are A LOT of glitching techniques out there to achieve those results The easiest one to put some furniture "inside" others is the gourmet trick It's quite simple really, you take a gourmet bowl/cup, put it down on one of the two furniture you want to glitch, group select from the bowl and you'll be able to merge them easily

If you want to see other techniques, there's a youtube channel I'd recommand, it's Coadrealert

The group select method worsk for both pc and switch.

Place a table down for example, put something on the table (ex food item, or gourmet item) hold down alt and select your item from the table. It will pick up the table as well.

You remove the floor not the pillar

The pillar is just useful to attach the floorpiece, and adjust the height if needed.

When you want yo remove the floor piece and move it you leave the pillar there...

You could look up some YT videos sink and float methods. Usually those use the shelf method so you can see how they use the shelf.

Or what ever you are trying to build (ex docks, treehouse, etc)

Note that it's 980 guild tokens! So you have to level up quite a bit and make sure you're getting your weeklies as often and consistently as possible! Cook high qual/difficult recipes with pals if you can and be sure you're eating focus food while cooking too to get more xp out of each dish

You can put snow down like around the edges of where your platform would be and then place the platform but it doesn’t cover the whole edge since it’s not tall enough, it’s not ideal but it does help to make it blend a little🤷🏼‍♀️

It's mostly just place on an item and combine with others. (You can use any item it's not limited to the gourmet bowl)
You can also stack furniture this way.
And make shelf stairs

Since I alreay had anchored my pulshies to the concrete paver, I could see where to put my pulshies using the same paveron another place on my plot to tilt them, so when I put them pack they got to the right placement directly. Also to get the right tilt, just think that the pulshies goes in the opposite direction than what you tilt the paver

It's go both way and the rotating is not complicated, so just throw it random and it'd look natural either way

Okay so you can do that but everything inside the house will be returned to the inventory so when you do put the house or room back they will be empty

I believe you press H if you are on pc and if you are on switch it’s the button that gives you the overview of the entire plot grid and then if on pc you click on it I forgot if it’s left of right click

If you have an extra room or building like pavilion or something put the building/room down then place the pillar inside it and then remove the building from the H menu. It should remove your pillar with anything else attached to it.

it's a glitch method. there are some tutorials on YouTube. It allows items be put on some surface it can't be put on directly. like, wallpaper on floor, ground-only items indoor/on paver etc. Then you don't have to use presents.

If you use a gourmet bowl and use group select, (for keyboard its alt key not sure for switch) while hovering over the bowl it will pickup the item u placed the bowl on and change the hit box size to help merge. You'll know your selecting on the bowl when u hear a "clink" sound.

Some keywords could be, group selecte / gourmet bowl; obstacle flick; floating method (these would be some methods of glitching)

Or depending what your aim is, you can go more specific about it like: flower arch; out of bounds; decorate bin area; treehouse... Etc....

If you need help with a specific glitch or how to build something you saw in a tour you can also share pictures so we can see if it's to hard to explain in words.

As a beginner I would recommend to play with building blocks and possibly search how to get out of bounds.
And to use the group select / gourmet bowl method.

That's a honey lure it will attract insects so you can catch them.
Make sure you place it closer to you.
Also not on your plot. Outside in kilima or bahari.

Also you should use it when you have empty space in your bags and lots of bombs for insects

When you craft things you have different tabs.
Use the furniture tab for furniture.
The honey lure is in another tab.
