I am having a terrible time with the wallpaper as flooring glitch. I move the decor onto my character and click place and my wallpaper button at the same time. The floor flashes the desired wallpaper for a split second but then goes back to the original flooring. I've tried:
Changing FPS to 30
Turning on v-sync
Keybinding V for place
Pressing V and 2 (my wallpaper) at the same time
Pressing V and 2 a split second after

Does anyone have any other suggestions? I've tried so many times 😩

Oh yeah I have literal folders of things that are in the beta trailer that are not in the game. [Yet anyway, we did see them add the bay windows that are seen in the trailer into the game. So in theory, anything is possible.]

But... it does also kind of look like the promotional department also just literally used assets that were meant to be used for Kilima Village & not Player Houses. Like bags of Apples [see wagon/Zekki's shop/etc], small bags of coal[Sifuu's Blacksmith], Wagon Wheel that's leaning against the house as a floor item, etc.

It also shows rooms being used as independent buildings. [Not sure if this was an intended feature at one point or not.]

I would assume if you can place a soup bowl on it and select the soup ball once it’s on the pond so it selects both the pond and soup bowl then you can move the bowl around and place it in the house maybe while the pond is the actual thing you place. Once places remove the soup bowl

You would need something to place it on @normal bone your 2 options are either a Winterlights Red Present 🎁 or you can us the trick that was mentioned by @vital blaze to place a Small Terrace piece inside your building. That should give you the ground surface you need to place the koi pond down

There's a workarround.

If you have an anchor on the outside and the oven will sit on that basically

You would have to place a building block outside, move it in the place you have the oven and use cancelation method, place the oven on that building block and reload your plot. Your oven should be floating in that place while it's linked to the building block on the outside and you could build the rest around the floating oven.

I seen a video on TikTok I believe. But it’s simple. You put a paver on the floor and then put any pillar (maybe other items work too) on the paver and then group them and move them together, place the pillar on the wall where you want it. Then remove the pillar once the item is placed.

Gotta question guys - I'm building a water wheel on my Warlock plot... I want to use the Shore Dyed Chic Dinning Table for the water.

How would you all go about adding the tables between the two wheels?

I've tried turning blocks on their sides but all i get is invalid placement. One method i did find that kinda worked was using a pillar on its side and placing a block with the table onto the pillars top then pulling the pillar and getting this but it blocks me from placing more tables anywhere near it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i hadnt seen your question above! but right now as said before, the table is bugged somewhat! if you rotate the item you want to modify you can preview the colors! right now some of the green options are paired with pink tones, but the darker toned witchy sets would be the ravenwood set, and the moonstruck set!

You need the buildingplate ground items then you add a few thogether and put the Tabelle on it with the bowl technique you can use a 2 round wood plate and the shelf to make it a curve or half ley its sounds heavy but its easy can add later pic step by step what you need to do

you have a reference picture? but, in general, there is lots of yt videos for building tricks

I did this with builders walls (and floors with the roof)

usually you need atleast a shelf for rotation

and with floor pieces

So everything you place on a shelf and rotate, and if then take it away, will turn back, so naturally also everything you attach to the rotated item, will turn with it.

With the right glitching, I struggle to think of anything that I couldn't do without a red present.

I used to use them all the time, but since they added building blocks, I've slowly been removing them out of all my builds do the a lack of necessity.

The two recent instances I can recall where I used them I only did so because I needed an anchor that was smaller than a building block, so I suppose that's it's real biggest benefit.

I just don't see myself ever needing more than the 48 that I have had since last year (only 6 of which I'm currently using).

Here's one example. I used a present to lean this wheel up against this pillar, and hid the present inside the structure.

I probably could have accomplished the same thing with just a builders pillar.

I've tried to recreate a traditional rural Nordic house, with a traditional stove and a cosy nook area, a sauna (with a funny door made of banners, lol) and an entrance room where people usually store their seedlings before putting them outside for summer. I also tried to make a forest out of my plot as much as I can.

I wanted to cover the whole area with snow, to recreate this Nordic feeling, but then I realised that the price for each snow pile is 1000 coins! Can you give me any advice on how to bring more winter to the outside?

Okay, so this is a good example of when a red preset is best, because after trying to get it to work with a pillar, I remember now why I did it with the red present.

With how many trees you have, I think it would be fine if you added patchy piles of snow scattered around. If you were only getting a slight snow, most of the snow would get stopped by the trees. It would be more realistic then that only the areas of the ground between the trees would get snow at all.

So if you do go and get a bunch of snow, just do it something like this, so you can have the realistic snowy look without breaking the bank.

The Winterlights Ice Patch is the flatest, and covers the most area. I'd stick with those unless you specifically wanted a larger pile of snow somewhere for something.

I would try to rotate a pillar with an industrial wall shelf, put the pillow on it at the height you want, then place it back on the ground. Your two mirrors should then attach normally on the side of the pillar

I was using the glitch where you use a builders wall, the industrial shelf, and a paver. I got the height I needed it to be, then I made the shelf vertical so that the plushie could be the right angle, I think that's what made it go to the front of my plot.

Did you try in free placement mode ? If so and it still doesn't work, it might be 'cause they're too big ? You might need to glitch them (floating glitch perhaps or obstacle flick)

Place the shelf on the wall, place a building pillar on the shelf, group select the pilar, you can now place it on the floor

Mh... Did she try to put them down from both side in person mode ? (I mean while facing her house and/or her back facing the house) If it still doesn't work, putting wooden edging against the fence on the floor make it so she can multi-select the fence as an object then rotate it

1. Datura flowers glow (purple) you get them from Lunar Fairy moth, there're also the lily rattan set flowers that glow (orange) you buy the recipes for 300 guild coins in Tish's guild shop

2. Might be the moonstruck table lamp, you can always change its color in the modification bench, you get it by inspiration while crafting the moonstruck set

Those are spring fever wood edging, you get them through inspiration by crafting the spring fever set, you buy it at the crop shop at the farm

you can build outside the area by placing builders floors inside, and building outwards, and then you can build on top of those floors

you can also hide those floors with the sinking glitch 1 step with for example a paver, and then you can build on top of them but they wont even be visible

yes, the method I've used is I place 4 pavers in a stack, then move the top one as far away as you want the first floor. but instead of placing down the paver, press the key you have the floor on, and spam V (or your secondary button, whicever you have) until the floor is placed. Then you move the third paver (which is now the top one) anywhere. this will reveal the prevous top one that now acts as an anchor to the floor
