For putting roof tile on the wall I was shown to use a wall item. I did place it on the wall first, then tried to move to a “can’t place here spot” while clicking the number on my hot bar

Ground rules for Obstacle flick: 1. Place the item (u are using as a TOOL for flicking) on the ground/floor/OUT FROM INVENTORY 2. The item you are trying to FLICK, needs to come from inventory 3. The item you are using as a TOOL needs to say ”Something is in the way” (otherwise o-flick wont work) 4. FPS is recommended to be low 5. Press hotbar number (the item you are flicking from inventory) and a mouse left OR V-key (which is holding the tool) almost the same time (mouse/V little bit faster) 6. You need to be pretty fast. 7. O-flick wont work on Switch.

Weekly you get 50: 25 for giving vote to 5 homes and 25 for visiting 20 or 25 (?) homes. Look in your achievement tab, it's the last one at the bottom, you get tickets on every stage as well.

The float sink method is harder. Have you tried with building blocks?

I don't know if it is true, as i haven't tested it but i did see someone said, when you are trying to recolor you can rotate the item in the menu and it will show the recolor. Maybe try that? (just tested, turning it does work)

The reflectors from the ravenwood set are nice because you place them on the ceiling and they will cast a light in the direction you want. They're not that bright and they're light is purpleish, but it's good to keep them in mind.

Hi! Quick question, I'm not much of a decorator at all but i wanted to use the 2 story house as a museum of sorts. im just working on the left room for now which is for fishies and i really want to incorporate the curtains into the doorway bc i think it looks cool haha, but im not sure how to make it look good 💀 I thought originally if I could stack the recoloured log cabin dividers on top of each other i could make a blue wall thing so the view of the inside is covered, but i havent found a way to do that. If you guys were designing a room like this with the curtains would you keep the big doorway? Or would you make it a single doorway ? Or something else?

At this current time the issue has been persisting for ~checks when submitted first report~ 8 months as well it is worth mentioning that trees went from not being a global item 1 patch to being a global item the next. If want to help your chances go for all the hook time buffs. (It doesn't actually change the drop chance, you are just cramming more slot machine pulls in) & don't bother going for hotspots if all you care about is plush. They have the same drop chance in or out of hotspots.

you need to do the glitch off the builders blocks. Any functional item on a builder block has the potential to port to the front of your plot. The builder block is the problem, not the glitch itself.

To make it easiest, get rid of the builders blocks under the items you want to cancel together. Removing the builders blocks is the fastest way to stop the teleportation since they are the actual problem. If you still want these items to sit on the builders blocks, you have to float the functional items off a butcher block (as an anchor), with the butcher block sitting on the ground, hidden in other decor. Then the item can appear to sit on the builders crate and then you can cancel the decor item into place on top of that for the look. It's a bit more messy this way.

Builders blocks just don't play fair with functional items.

hello i have a question. while looking for decor inspo i came upon the cancel-placement method to glitch items in whatever position. but everytime i cancel the placement with another item, the previous item just switches back to the old position and i can't do anything anymore until i close the decoration menu completely. is the glitch patched out or am i just too dumb lol. playing on pc, so i thought it should be possible. if this is still working, does anyone have some tips how to master it? i followed the youtube tutorials step by step but cant get it to work somehow

When you try to cancel the placement with another object, it should be looking green and placable and it should not say "somethings in the way", have you checked that? It is not patched afaik.

my top floor is a ceiling and floor - note the stacks to lift to attach the floor - might be able to use something else to lift though since you cannot attach to the topside of the beams
