Hi everyone!=) I just came back after a holiday while the new patch was released, and logged into the game. Weirdly I found that 3 of my Preserve Jars were gone (used to be under the roof on the left), and my Work Bench (was glitched into the wooden bench on the right).
Is this a known issue that others have had since the last patch?

Yes it is a known issue. I think the most common trend were those that lost crafters or storage are those that put it on top of builders blocks.

They aren't gone, just glitched somewhere and it depends on where it glitched. I forgot how one of my friends found her items again but it's still there just hard to get to

I had a seed maker and chest yeeted out of bounds, but the other items (another seed maker and some preserve jars) were on the plot, floating around a tree. I've seen some screenshots from people where their items were flung way into the air.

For me it helped lifting up the builder block where the jars were on top. They are still connected and when you lift the ground/floor (with or without Alt) you should see the jars somewhere in the background selected.

Here's one wall of the study. I used to use the Moss Listello wallpaper everywhere until we got the onyx wallpaper (i've since switched to the umbral beadboard since it's actually black). I used to have the pastoral one in the kitchen, but got rid of it. I could switch the wallpaper to it, if you'd like.

Looking at my study, it makes me chuckle because it's a stark contrast from the rest of the dark, moody house.

I would imagine it should be easy enough. You just have to stack a stack on left and one on right then connect up top. I originally made a small cave for mine in my muujin exhibit. But I wanted to make it look like a grotto with water. That cave is the reason I wanted to make a bigger version to tour. And now I want to make a legit big cave system on a new plot lol.

This is how I layered mine if you want a close up look on the inside. I left a hole up top to let light down which can be covered if you want.

Do you aim for a simple lectern or the whole pulpit + lectern situation? I think it might be easier if you tried to build a bigger thing (pulpit included). For small build, you could definitely do the wooden pillar with a grimoire on top (maybe sunk in partially in the floor , so the book reaches eye level with the character .. if that is possible)

I would say two pulpits at the side, since you need the space for the nave (I am also a sucker for symmetry and you want the middle to be unimpaired to properly admire the pipe organ)

if you haven't decided on the style of the pulpit/lecterns yet, do the nave and see how much space you have left and go from there. I think you are doing an amazing job, the whole thing is very pretty as it is and I can't wait to see updates on it 🙂

hmm idk with the floating cause i havent tested that, All I could confirm was you can decorate and add pieces once it out of bounds to the terraform

you may be multi selecting the wrong crate or piece too, sometimes when you multi select the blocks it will grab the one thats the main anchor, so your main anchor may be the one on the terraform

and not the blocks, make sure your snapping them to make them all as one correctly. I will need to test the floating you discovered to be more helpful lol

i had this same issue when I was working with a piece earlier, I redid my blocks and it worked!

try to redo them and grab by the block thats the anchor, you still may be grabbing the wrong block without realizing it too, also an idea, what if this method doesnt work for decorated spots but you have to place first then decorate after?

i can decorate after i do the trick fine, but i never tested pre decorated lol, i can try this now!!

Yes there is always a risk when glitching that after every patch and hotfix there is a mess waiting for you at your plot, especially with functioinal items and trees

I gave up... or atleast am having a break from anchorless landpiece floating, and ended up glitching this piece with the ceiling xd

If the spiral staircase is behind you/behind the chairs, you could attach a large room (open concept) to make the room longer. If not, have you tried group selecting the entire organ and moving it bit further to make yourself more space?

i’m not sure if this the right place for this, but my friend is having trouble with her rooms/hallway layout. she has the kilima courtyard, and a hallway off the right side of it. she is trying to connect a small room to the hallway section, but it keeps saying there is something in the way. i’ve tried helping her and looking but there’s nothing in the way. it will let her attach a large room, but not a small or medium room. does anyone know why that is?

it's probably the distance between anchor and tree house. The anchor to the main piece that's holding it all together can't be 60+ tiles away or more than 10+ high or more than a block and a half below it.

generally, each piece should be put on the ground not attached to each other, so your "handle" piece won't shift. But sometimes it acts a bit funny. I would try to turn off the grid and move the pieces slightly further apart from each other.

When you put a room in, it’s just a giant open doorway or even a smaller open doorway, which is not ideal for a bedroom

Yeah i like growing mine to certain heights and some for getting more seeds, plus growing a full tree takes like 20 in game days so to have to cut them down to move them would suck lol

It only lets me place it if I put it about 8 of this tiny squares away from the fence but if i move it further down the fence line it lets me place it right up against the fence.

I placed a plot to the left of where I wanted it to go then it snapped it to the right spot but it looks wonky lol. I might have to figure something else out for that corner

Yeah the fence is at the boarder. I think that corner is just really wonky.

I'll probably just try to put a regular tree and some flowers there with maybe some other decor as a part of my garden area.

You multiselect with ALT - key and place the first piece in normal building area. After you have placed them, you can start deleting.

There's a trick to skip that. But you might encounter problems in the future. So I suggested just wait until you have all

The only way to gains tickets now are the weeklies and with the achievement of touring x number of plots (I don't have any tickets left now xD)

I'd say to save your tickets and once you've got a good amount (20 hours cost me 300 tickets), feature your house directly on a monday to assure max votes

thank you tons! yeah I wanted to make sure I wrote out all steps for any glitches on this video because each step is important and must be done correctly to ensure the table sinks. Make sure you drag and drop each table to create your body of water. should you run into any issues with that, because trust me it IS tough at times, I linked my friend fleurs on youtube in my pinned comment, and at the 3hr mark on her stream, she shows how to drag and drop the tables. Some people were struggling a tad with it so I wanted to just share the info in case ❤️ dont stress if the placement isnt perfect, we hide most of that with decor anyways !

Anyone having trouble with processors glitching out to plot front from their place on a builders item? A couple of weeks ago I read on reddit that they tend to do that when the builders item is anchored inside a room and I had mine in a pavillion, so I instead floated them from builders floors I put straight onto the ground. But when I logged on today I found them in front of my plot again. It's really bumming me out and I don't know how to fix it. 😭

I realised the problem was oflicking the soil on the floor piece. If the soil is oflicked on top of a paver, you actually can tile it, even upside down.

Hey, just wondering if there's a bug when moving a building that says "invalid socket"? I'm trying to move a harvest house that has a large room, courtyard and 2 hallway sections but it can't find a valid location to place even though there's nothing in the way, when i try place it just says "invalid socket" instead of the usual "somethings in the way/out of bounds" so not sure whats wrong.

I've tried to look online about your problem, do you have a porch somewhere on an end maybe ? If so, try taking it off and move your house, then put it back on once you've managed to put your house down

If you don't have one then... I don't know what's the problem but many players had the issue a few months ago, they had to take down the build and build it once again completely or adding hallways between the harvest house and the different rooms...

Here's a little trick for taking better screenshots in game on your plot (on PC).

If you press H + J at the same time, it brings up your H menu and the Quest menu at the same time.

After you close out both menus, most of the UI overlay will be gone.

You can go in and out of the ESC menu to bring it back.

That corner has been stolen by S6 when they re-did the land around the pond. You won't be able to place anything naturally into that corner because the grid disappears. You can see the texture is warped in your picture right in the corner. I've reported the bug, more of us need to.

Seems that it happened as a result of them fixing the water filling up section of land over there. You used to be able to fill up your watering can over there:

yup! They fix one thing and break another. They re-textured both sides of that pond and made the land a little higher in places, I've had decor drop underground because of it. I dare not touch anything until they put the grid back on in that corner.

No problem, unluckily my "anchorless" floating didn't work for the terraform then - although I heard Tiny Dragon knows how to do it anchorless, and I believe this (I think kel'o'ly 's) Switch friendly method ( pillar and shelf on top of an item to attach it to the wall (groupselect the shelf), then moving them with floor piece an a pillar elsewhere (groupselect the floorpiece)) is similar to it.
