I used the obstical flick but once placed the other soils wouldn't connect to the one originally placed. 😦

I used cancelling / obstacle flick, so in other words just floating. Why? Because the soils anchor NEEDS to be attached to the ground. Otherwise you find it in your front yard the next time you come back from Kilima.

You need to float them all. Well, I used one anchor to float 3 soils at the same time. It's little tricky. But you can also use 1 anchor for 1 soil.

Plus I used pillars to finally change the height. Outside the conservatory it looks like this atm, but I need to hide these, probably by cancelling.

I will probably use big trees to hide these or something that covers/hides these properly.

There is another way, he might ask you about your day, and if you say you had a bad day/are sad, he'll send you the decorative pebble to cheer you up. Then you can keep it and still progress everything with him. ❤️

It’s because you placed those on builders floor that are on top of a floor, they need to be on the ground and that way those funtional items will stay.

You can get dark wallpapers through the villagers after giving them a gift for the first time, they will give you a wallpaper corresponding to their starstone (Find the colors here : https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Starstone_Wallpapers) but there are also some wallpaper you can buy at Tish's register which are dark too (ex: Noble Bloom Wallpaper) There's also a nice one with wooden lining on the bottom in the touring board's shop

if you want to remove the green tile and put it back to the default blue, hover over the roof in your place-items mode and press the button for picking up items. it will 'pick up' the green (remove it) and put it back to default. this works for floors and walls too. i've done it by accident more times than on purpose 😆

Yes that is how you do floating glitch. The bottom item will stay as an anchor and candels move with it. You can’t remove the anchor.

Inside the house, I suggest shelf stairs, pillar or pavers.

Try it with shelf's, as a beginner it's really easy. Just place an industrial shelf on the house wall, place a pillar on it, then alt select and drag it on the floor. Do the same with second and drag it on top of the 1st shelf. And so on.

You can also make L shape stairs or in a curve.

You can also put that Zeki into a empty house or a room and then pick the room/house to your inventory, so that also picks up the zeki (and everything that's inside) to your inventory

Hi friends! Need some Switch friendly help. I am trying to get my books to lie horizontal. I cannot for the life of me get a book to lay on a gourmet bowl. I have YouTubed it and these are the steps I am taking: 2 stone walls standing on top of each other, industrial shelf, 1 wood floor on top of the shelf. I put my investigators desk on top of the wood flooring and place a gourmet bowl in the middle of the desk so the book has room. I flip the shelf. And this is where I am having some trouble. I cannot get a book to stick to the gourmet bowl was so ever. I am using free placement mode without the grids. I know it’s possible. Is there any steps that I am missing?

try adding builders floors very close to each other like pavers, then multiselect and go outside the actual building area.. then you can remove rest of the pieces and leave just one piece outside.. I guess this works also on Switch? I need to try it myself..

yeah i had heating and water pipes mixed through eachother back then, separated them when i decided to get the emberborn stuff outta the room

Yes, that much I can manage. I think the default is ZL for multi-select, which is what I have it set as. And it will pick up all the pieces and move them together, but it still yells at me when I come in contact with the shipping bin with any of the attached pieces 😦

You could also try floating stuff with a pillar and a shelf. So take an item you wanna float, then place a pillar on top of it and a shelf to it, then multiselect (ALT-key in PC) the shelf, attach that all to a wall, then place a floor piece close to it, then a pillar underneath the floorpiece, and finally multiselect the floor piece. Move the whole stack where you want and delete the rest, except the item floating.

Go into the achievements section and it'll show how many you've voted/visited that week for the weekly tasks, otherwise just visit loads until you get the notification pop up. I'll go through the screenshots/home tours threads here and follow ones I want to visit then when I log in just spend like 10/15 minutes visiting and voting from my list ☺️ you can knock it out quite quickly (until you get a Switch glitch that closes the game and you have to reload everything...) but it's worked for me!

Question: can you choose between doorway options connecting two medium rooms (e.g. open, archway, doorway) or am I trying to do something that's impossible? Whenever I go into the overhead menu and try to press edit the connection between two medium rooms, it doesn't give me the option to choose and I don't know if it's a glitch or just something that's never been possible.

I would say the same. I mean yes there are some people that are really cheating and hacking, like in any game. But those are still kind of rare cases.
Glitching is something that many (still not most people, but many) do, but it's not really cheating I would say.
And sometimes people don't really seem to know what is cheating, what is a glitch and what you can do as default on the game. I placed those bellflowers curtains on the windows and few assumed it's glitching, even though you can just normally place them there😅

I can get stuff out of bounds with builders items, but I haven't been able to place trees in a way that would make them move WITH the builders item (and placing them on the gourmet dessert bowl doesn't work either). I should note that I play on Switch. Anyone know how to plant the tree to grow into the mailbox, plzzzzz?

Sorry to be dumb but what do you mean in this scenario by anchoring? For instance I have put a small builders block on the ground outside my house (grass) and placed a storage chest on top that stays in place after leaving the plot, however I've put a small builders block on the floor of the harvest house and placed a fabric loom on top that transports to the front of my plot after leaving and returning. How was it anchored on the ground but not the floor of the building?

That is what I'm trying to clarify on that video, because that is not too clear for every one.
If you put a small builders block on the floor it is not anchored on the ground, it is on floor. That is the reason why the loom wont stay

No you can still have them indoors on the house, you just need to anchor them on the ground instead of placing them on the floor.

Thank you! Its a trick with Gourmet Soup Bowl. You put one paver, then soup bowl on the edge on the paver, then put another paver on the top of the bowl, then you have to remove soup bowl and voila

It's very easy to do this with the couches.

1.) get a gourmet soup bowl
2.) get 2 couches
3.) Place 1 couch exactly where you want it.
4.) Place the other couch near by
5.) Place soup bowl onto the second couch
6.) With the soup bowl highlighted group select bowl + couch (NOTE: You should hear a "tink" sound like you're picking up the bowl)
7.) Move the couch into the position you want.
8.) Pick up bowl

If you use builders items like builders wooden floor on top of a floor then funtional items like cooking station and other crafters, chest etc will teleport

Yes We finally figured it out and this is the build you need for it
Then you can just place it aiming near the edge of those crates
This need to be on the front side of the ghh and that grid needs to face back

the way i did mine (similar in design) was to use the red present to put the bookshelves up higher, then used the gourmet bowl on top of the ranch counter and then select all on the gourmet bowl. it'll use the gourmet bowl's hit box to merge things

It's Ranch House Fountain and lot's of glitching 🙂 The fountain is obstacle flicked on top of a pile of pavers, and the firepits (4 actually) was placed there before, and cancelled (method) somewhere else to wait meanwhile.
