sooo i was trying to make a shed by glitching two hallways together and i get the first hallway no problem and smacked a door on it. i switched plots and moved the harvest house so i could place the second hallway and start its construction. switched back to my main plot to do some things while i wait the 20 min and when i got back both the hallway and door were gone 🥲 so did a couple things, checked my plot inventory nothing they're just gone! they vanished lmao so i have to go buy another hallway and door. dont do what i did folks! probably best to use a fully constructed hallway

omg to make it worse my harvest house is registering the hallway being connected to it so i cant even put it away or use that side to add anything else this is so botched lol

I tried the glitch where you cancel two items in the same spot or merged, and then when you load your plot back in they should be merged. But the merge never happens when I reload the plot

I "put" them in a different room during the cancel, maybe that has something to do with it 🤔

Yes switching plots works on normal decor items, but for functional items you need to go Kilima or Bahari or reload the game

It’s not really easy to explaing because people have so many issues with. But the basic idea is that you use an obstacle so the game will give you an error that something is in the way and then you press the placement key and right after a number key where you have that wallpaper on your inventory

some of them are artist concepts that ultimately weren't the final furniture results. Unfortunately for whatever reason, they didn't change the mod bench pictures to match in some cases.

the gourmet bowl is a huge one - you place it on the piece of furniture you want to merge with another, hover over the bowl and group select, then move the furniture wherever you want and remove the bowl after

For most workstations it only works if you place the station last. So put the mixing station in your inventory and (for example) a floor cabinet on the ground, move the cabinet, cancel, then put the mixing station from your inventory down. That should work, it won't the other way around.
As you can see, I insisted on putting stuff on all the things! 😄

You use something for height, add your anchor on top, move it down to the ground, cancel the placement with a number key with an decor item, place the items you want to sink on top of the anchor, select the anchor and place it on the ground

There are several videos in youtube teaching floating and sinking. They seem pretty easy to learn, nothing like trying to understand how Prontera Town's owner made those blocks somewhat merge for the steps. Yes but that vent is a wall item and it can only be placed on a wall. You can’t anyways place anythin on top of that barrel, because it will just float above it. So you need to glitch the vent if you want it there and maybe rotated floating is the way to do it

Greetings. I just discovered from game chat that you can glitch wallpaper to the floor. Placeable item like a vase or a chest placed on the floor. Have the wallpaper you want on the floor in hotbar, note the number. Pick up item - drag into your character till 'something is in the way' pops up, place item AND click number of wallpaper at same time. I've tried like 20 times. I see the wallpaper blip occasionally but I can't get it to stick. Any tips? (or corrections in technique)

However s6 has this ridiculous policy of not rolling out hot fixes and 'saving' all their fixes for the next update. I have banners in other harvest houses (just the regular harvest house, NOT the grand harvest house) in this spot, but it won't let me put one here. This house is the only one with an attic, but there's nothing in the way. Does anyone know why? I went into another harvest home, and was able to place it with no issue. Literally, I'm telling you it's the exact same, EXCEPT the attic. So, if this is the case, the devs need to fix that because it's ridiculous because it IS a valid placement.

The first photo is the same banner in a different harvest house that is placed in the same direction on its plot, as the one on my main plot (the photo I posted earlier). The other two photos are different harvest houses with banners placed in that same area. I think it has something to do with the builder's floor for the attic, I just don't know why, and that is what is frustrating me. I could obstacle flick it there, as Foxia suggested, and hope it works. That wall is just so bland. At least in the grand harvest house, there's a window taking up space.

I was about to give up on the attic, but got it to lay perfectly. The floors have to go under the beam, whereas in the grand house, the floors go over the beams. Ever since we got the building blocks, I wanted to add a second floor in my main house, just never got around to it untlil now.

As for the attic, I stuck the fisher's aquarium in the centre where the light would be. It's not permanent, but I did it to move it out the way. I kind of like how it looks, but it takes up a lot of space.

I just tried it with my loft, and it seems like the loft floor doesn't have much of an effect. This loft is with the stone floors. not sure if this makes any differences. It could be a temporary bug

I used the wooden floors. Also, based on your photo, your floors look like they’re placed lower than mine. The beams come higher up on your character than on mine.

Just make sure those are newer tutorials, because some of the older ones don’t work the same anymore. Ghosting for example, it does work still but not the same way that before the update that added those landscapes.

When you get a makeshift item, you should get the recipie, too. They can even lower the chance of getting one if they need to offset it.
Then once you get one you cannot get it again, but you can always craft more.

They need to accumulate, but we should still be able to vote on them weekly to add to the accumulated total.

I've been speed reacting to peoples plots to help them with their reaction goals, but some of you make it SO HARD to just vote and leave because your plots look SO AMAZING. I cannot help but wander and get lost, and forget that I was in the middle of a reaction marathon.

This is not fun gameplay.

I want to visit, tour, and react because I want to, not because people are striving to get a nametag.

It truly is random. In the past when I've uploaded my plot almost instantly after reset--didn't land on the trending page. Then, once, a few weeks ago, I managed to trend but got kicked off the list shortly after because of an update to the game. And then this week, I somehow got on the list again, though funny enough, the Tier 4 nameplate I want the most is not even the one that has the most votes right now. Of course, you can't control what people vote--and that's also OK because you'd want the votes to be natural/organic. In sum: Home Tours will remain a mess until S6 fully addresses it.

There are incredible buildings with just 5 likes or 25 that would have easily earned 1000 but no and a plot with only trees is in third place, that's not fair and it really ruins the whole thing. It would be nice if we could at least collect likes for a few weeks so that the pressure is off to deliver every week and you should delete the plots from the vote where there is only 1 tent or 1 tree, they don't deserve anything...

I built a new plot every week for five weeks and then burned out really fast. I'm still burnt out and haven't created any new plots since because it's so exhausting.

My main plot is my baby, so it's maxed out, which means that I don't get to or can't fully decorate the others (without risking said bug).

That being said, my main plot still isn't even finished because I don't have the paved pathways that I've always wanted (since pavers take up item decor space).

Basically it's a terrible time to be a decorator in Palia.

Once you figure out how many you need, cake parties are a quick way to level up.

If your focus meter is maxed (1000 + 100% bonus) you should go up a level every 8-9 rounds of making cake as long as you keep your meter at least half full.

That plus weeklies help get guild medallions a lot faster 🙂

I've seen a lot of people use extra plots for many reasons. Being able to have alternate builds without having to scrap your main one, i've seen some people use it entirely for growing flowers, I've seen some people use it to 'catalogue' decor items with all their colour variations for reference, etc. There's no right or wrong way to use a second plot, if it doesn't seem worth it to you then that's okay!

Those are just the Spring Fever Flat Trellis, set on copper blocks, with the Industrial Wall Shelf inside. Really easy to build! (Plot is on tours if you want to take a closer look.)
And yes, furniture does not take storage space, you can keep as much as you like.

You can pick them back to your inventory
