Whatever u pick up it goes back to your home plot inventory into stored items. U only need to buy when u run out of blue prints. Say: u wanna place 3 big rooms but have only 2, then 3rd u have to buy.

Harvest house is different story. If u have small one and want to replace it with Grand one, u have to buy it.

When u pick old small one will go to ur inventory and u can place Grand one.

U can also keep rearranging ur layout as u are pleased.

Hey guys, I am a returning player

I played Palia on launch RELIGIOUSLY and I was having a blast initially, but eventually, the game became SUPER time-gated. I found myself constantly waiting for materials, crops, money. It stopped being fun for me. D:

Is the game still SUPER time gated? Did they get rid of it or maybe lessen the time? If not, did they at least provide more active stuff to do? or maybe good, alternative ways of making money?

like the buildings have all had their times majorly reduced, like the harvest house that use to take 8 irl hours, now only takes 30 seconds to build. i think most (if not all) of the building items are under an hour now. crops still can be slow (apples still take 12 hours for first harvest), processing still can take over an hour depending on the crop. not sure what other time based things there are...

as far as money goes, they just recently increased the prices of fish and bugs, while nerfing the prices of starstones a bit, left gardening alone, but as that's more of a passive income

there's been some new buildings to buy, the grand harvest house (which takes the longest to build at 96 minutes), a courtyard, pavilion, and just this past update last week a conservatory

grand harvest house is a larger two story harvest house with a balcony style second story (open in the middle). we now have builders blocks which a lot of people have had a ton of fun with (someone made a recreation of the t-rex from Jurassic park). plot limit is 30 buildings, and the item limit on the plots is 3000

also, you can get a reward from the temples that allow you to grow your own flow trees on your plot along with now getting flowers to decorate with

also you can mine an ore, and it will remain there for other people to still get

Hello, those items keep spawning at the entrance of the plot, and i don't know what to do... right screenshot is the place where i put them, on the Builders Stone Floor. Anyone has this problem too ?

uhhh soo I used ghost rooms, to open up the walls, then the wood ramps to make the overhang, and leveled the floor with the bluiding wood floors. Then just place the terracotta path on top! For the inside I placed 3 small ghostrooms attached to each other inside 3 large rooms. If this makes sense

to avoid my mistake and having to redo it 4 times lol, place the frame of the house first, then attach the woodramps on either edge and only after that I'd suggest doing the ghost rooms to open up the walls

If u finished overseer quests in a chat Einar shoul direct u to root temple. U can also try to speak to Hekla. Einar should tell u about message/signal and that will place marker on a map where to go. Also will tell u to meet him and Hekls inside

you can follow this path, but appdata is a hidden folder so make sure you've got hidden folders set to show

Quick question for anyone who might know, I stopped playing this game for a while and just got back in it today, and I am trying to complete some quests. I am stuck on the Special Donations quest where you have to bring Zeki 7 treasures. I have all but one. And it's the Galeseeker Goggles I guess they are located in the temple Zeki unlocks. Well I have gone to the top to try and find something to pick the lock and there is nothing up there. Is this something that can be fixed or will this forever be a quest I cannot complete lol?

two words - apple jam. i only harvest my apple trees (4 trees with harvest boost yields 96 apples x 4 harvests). sold everything that i didn't need (bugs, fish, gemstones). i used a house planner when it was still being kept up to date (can still use it just stops after the .79 update so doesn't have the grand house or anything after) so i knew exactly how many buildings to buy and which ones so i didn't have to spend money on things that i didn't need.

is there a reason elder sernuk sometimes take 2 iron arrows and other times take 3? do arrows have damage fall off with distance? same with slowdown arrows needing either 3 or 4 hits randomly

arrow damage doesn't fall off with distance, but depending if someone has hit them before, you will need less arrows.
with no prior damage, elder sernuk take 3 shots with a fine arrow and 4 with slowdown arrows

Hello everyone! Is it a new thing that you need to be online for jams and planks etc to progress, or is my game bugged?

no they didn't change that. some crafters will stop before the 3rd output slots is full up though. also sometimes if you're offline a long time, the progress bar will get bugged at 0 seconds and you'll have to reset the machine to get it to work again. could it be one of those issues?
