Yes, this is a super common bug. Try restarting, and make sure that no one is in a party when you try to form the party. You can manually leave/kick members to make sure you're not in one. Sometimes my party member and I both have to restart twice to get it to work. It's very annoying - you aren't alone!

I would say it is super hard to know what/where your quest is not progressing from exactly without being you. Did you try to google the quest so you could see step by step what parts you need? Like she prob says to talk to Badruu because you need a certain garden impliment to do the riddle, but it is hard for an outside person to know where you are at sort of?

Hi all. I have a question about crops. From time to time my crops skip a day of growth. I have 100% water retention, my crops are always watered.
Yesterday (in game) all my crops were watered. Today (in game) 1 corn looked the same as the day before and needed watering while all the other corns grew a day. Is it supposed to be like that? I try to plant and harvest each crop on same days (for example, all planted onions are harvested and planted the same in game day) so this is a bit annoying

When I was unsure about my pebble plunder I submitted a ticket and the next day they confirmed I had gifted all of the pebbles and were able to give me the item reward. I didnt get the acheivement until this patch but having the item was enough for the time being. You should try that! They will even be able to tell you which ones you are missing, if any as I had asked that before as well.

There is a known glitch with the Pebble Plunder achievement in Palia. Players have reported that even after giving Einar all ten unique pebbles, the achievement doesn't unlock. For anyone else who is in need of confirmation for Pebble Plunder though, Palia Support can tell you exactly which pebbles you are missing (If any). And if once you give all those pebbles you still haven't gotten your achievement they can confirm it for you and give you the reward, even if the achievement cant be immediately marked as complete for you.

I left my plot and when I loaded back into Kilima my character didn’t show up. When I logged back in my character was completely randomized. I was able to go back to my wardrobe and customize again but I just thought it was funny and worth mentioning.

I read up upon how to get flow tree seeds and since I am one of the people where the apples bundle is bugged, is there any other way? Ive done so many groves in hopes it would maybe drop, but nothing. Am I just unlucky?

The only way to get flow seeds is the Galdur statue. regular in the world flow trees don't drop them.

Well from the statue then from the fully matured trees you grow from those seeds. When done with watering cycle you can gather a seed just like flowers.

Hey all, i'm running into this regular pickle where I have planted spicy peppers and they grow to be quality ones (the seeds are normal and there are no cotton around). I can't buy or get or make regular spicy peppers for recipes, and can only use the ones I have if all ingredients are star quality which I want to avoid on the regular. If anyone has a suggestion or anything, don't really want to request the peppers on the regular to cook.

if you check the use quality ingredients option it will pull the star quality first if available but if not it will use regular one

if there's an ingredient you want to save the star quality version instead of using in regular cooking you can put it in a lock box so it isn't used

hello so I just came back to palia with school semester being done so I haven't played since December, so what is the new mechanic with sharing pallium ore/nodes. because I do one hit, to let others hit and come back when someone broke it and there is no ore to pick up.

you can break the whole palium ore and pick up the loot, as it will be still available for others to mine for 3 mins after you mined it. same thing for forageables (sweet leafs, mushrooms etc) Tho, if you break it with someone else, you will get the same loot table, where as if you break it completely and someone else comes and break it, its a different loot table. Also to consider, if you are close to another party member when you or them breaks the ore, everyone close enough in the party wont even have to break the ore, you can simply collect it. Also, the mechanic works with bug hunting and hunting too, anything killed /caught by a nearby party member can be collected by you too without you having to do the action

yeah it's not advised to do one hit anymore because of the changes glowingstranger talks about. mining loot will despawn pretty quickly if someone else breaks it while you're gone. if you want to share it just flare it and call out the grid location, then break it and leave. if you really want to give people more than 3 mins to get there, i'd advise waiting by the node, but there isn't really any need for that with how palium works now

I'm repeating myself but: you will be able to use normal quality during the recipe, the option "use star quality ingredients" will only priotize star quality, if u don't have star quality of something u can simply use normal quality. if u get the warning about " u don't have all ingredients" bcs u only have for example 1 out of 4 needed star quality sweet leafes, start the recipe anyways. u will be able to use normal quality sweet leafes.

getting all star quality drops is not an issue, its a feature of the game
every gardening lvl of urs adds a 2% star chance, star seeds have a default 50% star chance
star quality -> more money

Don't worry about it. They don't take space in ur storage. I started by making all pieces of Log with focus filled. Then I would move to Kilima and so on. Ofc, watch for materials.

When speaking to the NPC, there's a question mark box you can sometimes click on.
Clicking on it (when lit) will reveal one of the weekly gifts that one of the NPCs are looking for.
Keep in mind that sometimes an NPC will tell you about a gift that a different NPC wants.

You can also try giving an NPC a random item in your inventory.
They may (or may not) take it. If they don't, you can try a different item.

I've had that party problem with my friend on the Switch. (I'm on PC.)
It usually fixes itself after doing a "close software" on the Switch.
Also, for some reason it seems to work better when my friend on the Switch forms the parties and requests the server syncs.

You could try going to your plot, then back to Bahari/Kilima.

I have only been motion sick maybe three times in my life, but while in the temple of the air I realized the gameplay up there causes me to get so motion sick I don't think I can complete it. i think it depends on how much focus you have and how much experience the item gives you. rarer fish/crops/meals/basically everything has a rarity, and collecting rare stuff gives you more experience, thus consuming more focus

I've probably server hopped around 500 times total over time trying to get it (using the trick of full inventory) so I grinded through the quest, and I got a FT seed my second server hop lol

If you wait it's the same fish every time. If you want a different fish you have to pull the line and re cast.

The regular sernuks are a 0.1% chance. I haven't seen anything conclusive about the bug plushes, but I assume the odds are the same (at least for the common lantern bug).

For a lot of things it is kind of a blessing though. If you see the fish you want you can collect yourself and if you see the one you don't want you can not hook it to save the bait. So the burden of a very quick choice is reduced.

Oh lovely. Not only are my apple trees glowing way slower than before(even with speedygro), now they're only advancing to the next growth stage while im at my plot. I have dummy crops that I use to keep weeds off the apple trees. Basically I weed only the apple trees until the max number of weeds that can spawn are all on the crops I don't care about. Only then did I put speedy gro on the apple trees. And i put about 54 pieces of speedygrow per tree. But only one of them was actually using it until it went down to 27 and then that one stopped. The other five trees stopped at 45 speedygros

They haven't used anymore in about a week

Does anyone know how to select bait with controller support? I have glow worms in my inventory but each time I try to select it (x-button) then hit the (b-button) to back out of the menu it deselects the worm so when I throw my rod, it goes back to no bait. hitting X does select the worm but as soon as I hit A, it deselects it. I can right-click with my mouse on any bomb or arrow and it will give me a "Equip" option but that option is missing on all bait. Trying to get the fishing bundles done.

Also, when I select a bomb or arrow, it shows the type of ammo I'm using beneath my bow or pouch. No bait is shown beneath my rod.

Sorry, I’m having trouble removing a porch. I pressed H to get to the housing menu and I can click on the porch, move it around, but can’t remove it. It just snaps back in place. The display says I can right click to remove it, but right clicking does nothing. Tried different angles, changing up my key binding, nothing. no, it basically made a local account for you that's permanently linked to your switch profile. if you want to play on your PC account you'll either need to link it to another switch profile, or contact support and see if they can link your pc account to your current switch profile
