gardening is a great way to make money; make sure to synergise your crops so they give boosts to each other, and process everything into either seeds or preserves before selling. you can check the #🌱│gardening channel for more advice

a good active option is mining everything you see in bahari and selling all the starstones you get from it.

if you're willing to cook with others, the best money maker in the game is cooking parties. you can sign up for one in #1143270926394335282 (need to get the role from id:customize first). if possible try to get a role like oven where you don't need to bring ingredients so you can just learn how it all works.

Anyplace, but your chance to get one is increased in a bubble hole, just like yellow worms increase it more than no worm.

That in mind, the increase in chance is only a few percentage, not like 20 more percent chance.

heat root will be very high up on cliffs and are a rarer resource. you have to look straight up the side of a cliff to see them. oyster meat you get from picking up oysters at the bahari bay beaches and opening them in your inventory

i’d just say make sure your using the right bait and times to fish, https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Stormray is stormray but you can search the others, not really a specific spot for them otherwise , if you have trouble catching you can always use food that gives a buff for fishing (sushi, sashimi, fisherman’s brew, trout dinner i think are all) and hooks from einar if you can get them

It might be a stretch, but I've had the experience, that moving your cooking stations a bit can help with that
It appears that the game doesnt like some placements (even tho it will allow them) and then produces this bug more often/always
Had this with one oven, if I started a recipe there, I would always get stuck

Mushroom Dumpling Soup is pretty ez and gives decent focus, especially if it turns star. think it's 375 normally and just requires chopping a small amount of ingredients + 1 mixing.

Correct, the wall lamp and radio are learned through inspiration. However, it's bugged for those who already crafted the entire Paltech collection prior to the 2 new pieces being added. Since many of us crafted all the items prior to these 2 new items, we don't have the ability to learn them through inspire 😦

Afaik there’s no significant differences between versions; Steam achievements are being added but you should be able to log in to trigger them as you unlock them through the downloaded game launcher. There may be subtle changes with how the game launches, but personally I haven’t seen a reason to switch to using Steam.

so when I accidentally unequiped glider and it went to inventory, i went to the wardrobe thinking that's where you'd go

so it says "you need to complete the quest to get the glider" and I paniced because I did that already

it should be in the quest inventory slot. to display it, you have to first put it in storage, then go to your overhead view on your plot, place it through the overhead and then you can move it to wherever you like, you just can't pick it up

Ancient Cloudminnow can be found in Temple of the Gales during the It Takes a Village - Caleri quest. The star version can be obtained by choosing to talk to Caleri after finding all of the collectibles for the Quest Icon.png Proof of Magic quest, or in a chest after solving the puzzle in the small temple on the main island.

if they are star quality u will need to start the recipe to use starred ingredients (option will only prio star quality, u will also be able to use normal quality then for other ingredients like spice sprouts etc) if u don't want to use something in star quality e.g. dari cloves u can put them in a lockbox so they don't get used

atm not yeah, its a temp fix for a bug, grown flowers and seeds merge in storage into one stack, depending on what was first(seed or grownflower) the other will get stuck and disappear after a relog so they just don't allow us to place flowers into storages atm, except for when ur inv overflows, but well then the bug happes, they overlooked that one, but at least they did a temp fix for it in a hotfix relatively fast

sry late reply and if you figured it out, but you’d find your friend in the social menu (if adding for first time it’s under manage friends and click the + icon it’s feint, and search their name and add as friend , it’ll show following so may need to relaunch game), then when you found your friend you just invite to party by their name, if their not in your server you (or who is leader) will need to request they join and it’s an arrow icon by their name, might need to go into the area you are heading to after that’s done, though i think there’s a bug going on where it will disband party so you’d just reinv them

it's honestly easy to miss. there's a register in tish's furniture shop. if you scroll all the way down to the bottom, there are upgraded chest versions

she also sells the lockbox recipe, which is useful for protecting certain materials

it's quite spendy, but it's really worth saving for. the first upgrade will jump your storage from 3200 to 6600, and the second upgrade will take you from 6600 to 10000.

There are so called flow trees, they are the ones with purple on them, you need someone to cut them with,and they are rare. So usually we call it out in chat
Every in game midnight they apear as a little group and that is called grove. It has pretty pink light above the trees.When someone finds them they call it out in chat and wait for everyone to come. When you get there take a swing at each tree so when it's down you get the loot.
Palium is also called out, but don't worry about that yet.
There are also 2 rare flowers, dari cloves and heartdrop lily, also called out, i usually call it and wait for at least someone to get there before i pick it. Because when you pick something, and aslo cut a rock, it stays there for 3 more minutes for other players to get it to.
Other things you'll understand as you go, but if you need anything just ask. All of us are open to any questions.

Both are QualityUp Fertilizer. And honestly, QualityUp become obsolete as you level gardening. Past a certain level of gardening, your yield of starred crops becomes 100% from starred seeds, so QualityUp as a bonus doesn't do anything.

So I wouldn't consider it a priority to get that.

To me, QualityUp is something you use early on while you're building up your Gardening lvl and stockpile of starred seeds.

that is not for housing slots 2, assuming u are asking bcs of the gazebo

for housing slots u will need to buy a whole new plot from the dropdown at the top of the housing menu
if u bought the one for 50k, 75k and 100k gold u unlock the gazebo

They drop from all 3 variants, however, the Proudhorns spawn in the area as well, and so do the young ones. Its a very high concentration of sernuks.

Eacdh type drops a specific plushie, my luck has led me to have th emost trouble with the elderly version.

the rocks at your home do not respawn once you mine them. so if you've mined all of them, you'll have to go to kilima or bahari to get more

I know feeding apples to reg worms gives the harvest fert and feeding apples to glow worms gives speedy grow. Is speedy grow even worth it? Is it better to not feed a single apple to worms? I want to be able to reduce cost as much as possible.

Seed bokchoy, napa cabbage is same seed or jar, jar corn, seed rice and wheat, spicy peppers only for cooking

if you potatos alot a 30-60 jar stack of jar potato is enought fert for the whole field if i remember right/1-2 harvests
and 30-60 potato is nothing if you bulk potato

if you arent frequently processing planks/stone/loom you can store those and put out seeders , i do that for offline time/or replace with wormbins

i stopped making glass and just buy glass tho/easier/need stone for craft or bricks usually

I seem to have accidentally changed a setting for the run/walk toggle and am unsure how to get it back to how it was before. I'm on PC and had the left [ctrl] key set to toggle run ON when clicked. There now appears to be a slower walk speed and this key is toggling walk/slower walk. I've tried messing around with the keybind settings but there's no save button. The only other option is to close the menu screen and then it asks if I'm sure if I want to discard changes... ? But there's no way to save the changes you make. Can someone help me understand how to fix this please?
