I've noticed more in Klimia then in BB but they seem to have "spawning" zones so rocks are together clay is an area copper another area. Stay by the edge of cliffs and I normally go around north cliffs of family farm

If you make it from the main island to the side island and go to its portal you have to walk up and aim at the middle bit of the floor to "start" it like you did for the one that took you to the islands

Maybe we’re talking about different things. So on the main island there’s a circular platform with purple magic around it. I was able to activate it so a portal popped up. If I go to any of the other circular platforms anywhere else in the temple, there’s no prompt to make its portal pop up

Oh once you go through the first portal you go to the side islands one on the left one on the right and one across from the nest. And on those smaller islands you activate the portal for only one of the sisters to come through

Question. If you're trying to farm for chest when fishing. Do you have to catch the fish, in order to get a chest eventually. Or can you not catch the fish, recast the line after not catching the fish, for a better chance at getting a chest? Or does it not matter either way?

Whenever you recast the line you get a new fish or chest is this case. The chance is the same but you get more tries per minute

The Rummage Piles are easy to find technically, all in the west side of Kilima from top north at the fields to south at the boathouse. Only one pile can be found and looted there every IRL day. I am guessing the "seasonal" rewards will last well into January, but that's nothing official on that yet. Beyond that it's likely like any other "event", if you don't play too much during a the event period there's always a risk of missing out on something.

Rugs and A LOT more (rugs and a few others are holiday themed stuff that has priority currently, the piles existed before the seasonal event and will remain after it as they also have a chance to contain further "housing related" loot.

Press L3 to access the housing menu and then the blueprints should be located by selecting X and attaching them to your house. Didn’t know this at first but you can pick up the house and rotate to get to the back for moving the fireplace for example since it’s not selectable when the back is blocked off

hmmmm if there's nothing on the ground then maybe that wall is being buggy, can you try moving your main harvest house over a couple blocks and then put it back, or rotate it and rotate it back? sometimes that will "reset" the wall if it's just being stubborn lol

Looks like I accidently fixed the issue. Seems Iit was still trying to process the previous thing I had in there but didn't have enough copper. I cancled it and it let me start iron.

Not currently, not before a patch in January... as Zeki is now on the orb island, and you quest need him to be on the main island (if it was coded differently it could have been resolved but yeah it's not allowing us to "bypass" that step).

be careful with putting a lot of furniture in storage, as it can contribute to client travel failure issues that can prevent you leaving your home plot or even logging into the game at all. if you start getting those errors when logging in/changing areas you should put all your spare furniture out on a housing plot. (personally i keep 1-2 of everything on a spare plot and throw away the rest, you can also gift furniture to tish)

sadly nope, only way to access your home plot storage is through a chest on your plot, but you can at least sell things to NPCs that have guild shops for their corresponding skills, at registers for the various stores (again corresponding to skill related items), and zeki's register will buy anything

it doesn't seem to affect everyone for some reason, so i wouldn't worry too much unless you start getting errors that mention client travel failure. you should still be able to get into the game if you keep trying so you can just clear out your furniture then. however the errors can get more and more frequent until some people can't get into the game at all, so you need to act before that happens.

depends on the situation. are you having issues catching fish? personally i think they're a waste of coins unless you're really struggling, these items will break after a certain number of uses anyway. you can get similar buffs from various foods and fisherman's brew (made at the campfire). you can get a hook time buff for free by fishing near other people.

there is a bug where it sometimes doesn't show all the materials you need. So propably you are missing some material. Exit from the crafting thing and open it again, it should now show you the missing material.

Sounds like you used a buzzy jar

that means either you (maybe accidentally) activated a buzzy jar (could be a reward or gift from Auni that you accidentally used from your hotbar), or someone you are in a party with is using one and marked them on the map for you

the markers show you where rare bugs are, but they disappear if the bugs despawn

Not sure the drop rate bite seems to be around 5 to 10% from what I’ve seen on seeds when chopping trees.

you want to chop the medium and large trees, the small trees don't drop seeds. try chopping the trees in Kilima, they respawn unlike the trees on your plot which are gone for good once you cut them down

The drop rate for seeds is somewhat rare, but they drop from the slightly larger trees. You'll need a bronze axe or better. I managed to get my seeds quicker by requesting them from other players. Good luck!

yeah, it’s a problem at the moment. a fix we’ve found is if someone goes back to the login and before they load into the server send and invite and they should accept it from there by pressing x. if that makes sense?

once you’ve completed all of the ‘prove your:’ quests you’ll be sent two letters. one will be about the chests (which you’ve done) and another will send you on a quests to light candles with villagers. you’ll get the tree then!

So.. I'm at 990 max focus (1 more to go), all my writs are unlocked, and I'm at 100% focus bonus.

am I just supposed to hemorrhage renown after I hit the cap after that last focus increase..?
why is there even a cap on renown we can hold on to?
what about in future updates - if more things are introduced that cost renown, does that not put me (and others in this situation) at a stark disadvantage because our renown could only be gained by chance, not quests?

Or am I just supposed to put my remaining friendship/romance quests on hold indefinitely?

Yeah, that's what I was concerned about. It feels like a punishment for being an active enjoyer of the game and actively playing it as opposed to logging in for half an hour a day and being done. A relog will normally fix it, there's a know bug currently with camera and also fishing reticle. I think though if you relog and don't go to the ESC menu it can "work for a while" at least (my camera bugs as soon as I do at least very often). Sometimes also just try a different water or place will work (can't explain that one).

I was able to gift it to him, so I'm not sure why it won't let you if you haven't gifted him anything yet today (IRL day, so since 8pmPST yesterday), you haven't gifted him a silver salmon this week yet, and you can gift other things... 🤔 you could also try gifting him a prism trout, that's another of his weekly wants. one thing might be to check if your system clock is synced properly to IRL time? sometimes that causes issues if it's off, like if you time travel for animal crossing or something

The trick is to hit them with a slow or dispel arrow
Dispel will stop the magic clones from coming out
Slow should slow it down (i think clones w be full speed so you can see difference)

Another one should come out on map in theory
Ive seen 2 on one map before so just need to look around south bahari only, i think for the spawns

level up ur foraging/mining skill and get the recipe for a better axe/pickaxe from Ashura/Hodari (the guild masters for that skill) then u can craft the upgrade at ur worktable

reach lvl 2 furniture, by crafting furniture u didn't craft before for faster exp,(they won't have a checkmark on the worktable), also make sure that ur focus bar is full, then u can buy the recipe for a loom at tish directly, thats where u can craft leather and cloth from, also u'll need cotton for cloth, seeds for them can be bought in the general store

I’m only romancing tish, kenyatta, jina, and tamala but there’s no limit to how many dateable characters you can be with

you can only wear up to two pins at a time but if you unlock more than that you can swap them out once a week

none of the npcs judge you for it either, at worst you might get some snarky dialogue if you’re dating an npc that another npc has beef with

Tish's cash register sells upgrades to chests - copper and iron. Also lockboxes. Getting the recipes will cost you quite some gold coin though.

In your inventory should be a red line of space with the items, this is the "overflow inventory".

On the Nintendo Switch you bring the selector cursor down into it and press down [A] hold it down then drag it up to your regular inventory space (thanks, Eir, I stole your text)
