Anyone have a better farm garden layout for a little bit of everything with 100% water retain and 100% weed prevention? This is the one I made when corn and spicy peppers were added but I'm not sure if it's the best option

XD my partner and I run the same farm layout but it needs to either be weeded or fert'd for weed block (when it works that is) and I manually weed cuz I had the process of stacking fert on EVERY TILE multiple times lmao

sorry for the random questions, but the only 2 starred bugs i have left to catch in kilima are spotted mantis and duskwing butterfly. I know they are in the dragon shrine area but ive only ever seen 2 of each and i come looking for them a lot. any tips or recs? would a honey lure force them to spawn? buzzy jar only tracks spotted mantis since duskwing is uncommon not rare and idk how to force them to spawn

there isn't anything in that area except books to read for lore purposes right now. unsure if more is coming or if that's it!

it triggers a quest via mail but the next step of the quest is bugged right now so you cant complete it

yes honey lures will spawn those, though you'll probably need to use multiple lures to get starred ones. i think i had to use 4 for a starred duskwing. i got my starred spotted mantis by running through the area for 3 days straight clearing out all the bugs.

afaik, they just direct you towards those quality fish indicators, so you might as well use your eyes instead of wasting resources on tuning forks. never used one myself so best to get confirmation from others

well it happens. spotted mantis isnt that rare to be honest. so just try a few times without honey lure, u should get it too

You have to bomb the bug together. I usually just do a honey lure and expect someone to come over.

Green bombs may still bug out the game's recognizing of two people hitting the bug.

I've tried honey lures and buzzy jars w/ server hopping (although with recent issues on servers taking forever to join this is tricky) but only managed to catch one unstarred over several days. And while the fairy mantis and jewelwings are hard to find they appear far more frequently than the butterfly. Good spots? strategies? I'll take any advice at this point 😄

Sometimes i feel its based on how well centered your bobber is in the bubble I have completed all starred fish and it must have happened 1 in every 100. I realise it could be different for others but ive also had issues where at one point my rod would cast and reel in even though i only clicked once. Ive also seen it where my bow/bug balls fire more times than i want them to or fire when im holding down the button for a charge/aim.

You should have received the actual Brazier, the recipe is under ALL or not filtered. Look just above the axes. They failed to code it as Furniture. When you make it the game will not mark it as made so you need to keep track on your own. Maybe the patch fixes this today.

The inability for some to not be able to fish up the sushi recipe seems to occur if you obtained 1 ,2 or 3 of the recipes from the Maji event.

If you are over lvl 10 fishing with 5 medals get the major hook that increase zone SIZE. It stacks with fishermans brew and make sure you take your finger off the mouse button when it jumps etc. Your mouse sensitivity could be too hiigh or low

So I think I messed up… I had the standard wooden chest and finally got the recipe for the copper one. I picked up all of my wooden chests to use them to make the copper ones, but didn’t have enough planks to replace all 8 chests. I had more stuff than I was able to have for my storage since all of the chests weren’t made yet, so do I lose some of my stuff? I know that’s confusing but idk how else to explain it haha

yes, it's probably because of different ingredients, such as a different vegetable. for example sashimi varies in sell price depending on which fish you use

Potato needs to be the vegetable used or it will result in a lower price (star only affects rng here)
starred meat affects price I believe ( chapaa/sernuk does not matter)
spicy pepper and wheat do not need to be starred (rng affected only)
rest is zeki ingredients
