there's a box to tick saying you want to use star quality. it's not the best system but it's there

You can still use non-starred crops when cooking with other starred crops. When you choose the option to use starred ingredients and you don't have any starred ones for a particular one, non-starred will be used. Just remember that if recipe uses more than one crop and you have only one starred, it will still try to use starred ones and you will fail. Examples:

Recipe requires any spice and you don't have any starred - you can use regular.
Recipe requires any spice, you have 1 starred spice sprouts and regular garlic - you can't use regular garlic.
Recipe requires 3 apples, you have one starred apple and 3 regular - you can't make it

You can put ingredients you don't want to use in the lockbox, they wont be used.

For some crops, you can buy them from badruu's food stall (near the farm). They cost 4 times their value so probably not a good idea to do this.

you can. it's all percentages. and the percentage goes up as your skill goes up, as well as the amount of hq ingredients.

I make shepp's pie for my worms, using regular non starred ingredients. still I get more than half my pies being starred.

press H > click the room > up to 3 options appear for each side of the room > click to change them from walls/windows on outside, or small/medium/open plan doorways

just be aware you cannot add doors inside, just ones going outside and those doors add to the 15 limit 🙂

(stopping people simply leaving them there forever, to benefit)

also if you move your tree's down 1, you can add in that line of rice above them, they'll get the harvest boost 🙂

That's not how it's working. I click left, it highlights in green and I can move it around. Then I right click and it sticks it back where it came from and gives me the menu for windows and doors.

you can get a lot of tickets now that each caught chapaa gives extra 1 ticket to everyone, so you should still be able to get at least one of each if you do a couple runs each day. also there is a bug connected to speed grow - when you get bonus day, fertilizer/boosts only count for one. So getting a speed boost on a potato with harvest boost from crops/fertilizer will reduce harvest boost chance to 4/5. Still ends with net gain, but after accounting for fertilizer value you only make extra money if you process those crops (assuming you are not at cap already). They did say that value of fertilizer will be halved (and generated amount doubled) but i don't think we got any details when that will be.

What is wrong with RNG in this game? 400 fish caught and not a single waterlogged chest. 400.000 gold spend at zeki (coins) and got just 2 furniture items. 50 oysters opened and not a single pearl. hello everybody, I have a little question: I hahvent played Palia in a longer time and just joined for the first time. Now I wanted to do some smelting and use the wormfarm but I cannot use them. they are stuck on 0 seconds and even when I put smth else in, it doesnt work. I cannot put them in storage etc. So I was wondering if somebody has an idea what I could do 🤔

For 3 days now I haven't been able to give Sifuu her favourite meal. Whenever I press on it, it just goes back to the cat box where nothing changes. If I offer her something else it tells me there is no room for such trinkets, or along those lines 😞 quite frustrating! I have tried both with and without the gold star

you get a free gazebo after, then can buy another or more at 10k+

The 2nd plot is 50 K to buy . . . is the plot after that one, does that cost 175K? That would add up to 225 . . .
