Pretend the green stuff you see is magma (instead of a minature golf course) and that you can't survive in magma. Strategize around that knowledge.

I fall through it straight to the lava. It’s not a hard surface you can just walk through it and in some parts of the mise it will disappear while you’re walking, but once you get to a certain height, it comes back.

It's actually magma, so no you can't be on/in it. You have to not-touch it. Stay on platforms/climbing walls. Fly over magma. Don't touch it.

It's pretty decent. 100% water retention is handy. You're also getting a lot of harvest boost. The important thing about gardening is that you have fun doing it in a way that supplies whatever you're wanting to make.

I planted my peppers and planted cotton/potatoes/rice for three bonuses (you can see when examining that peppers has the water retain effect applied). But when I harvest peppers they need to be watered. You can also see that under pepper soil is dry. Why is that? Am I doing something wrong? When I planted blueberries instead of peppers, with the same plants around - this problem never occurred. There was no weeds.
