if you have the shepp quest and the option 'will you be my shepp' comes up when you talk to them then yes! however i highly doubt that you can make him your shepp. You can also only make someone your shepp when you have friendship lvl4 (and have finished the lvl4 quest) :D
so far, it doesn't matter who your shepp is because theres no special things after the ceremony :(

you feed unstarred cakes to worms, sell starred cakes to zeki. You make good money from worms 28% markup per cake, but that's still less than selling flat starred cakes so people prefer starred ingredients to help the odds

This question probably gets asked a ton so i apologize but i'm wondering how to make a.. reasonable(?) amount of gold

i tried looking via the search function but mostly found a lot of people complaining about cake parties

that being said, i'm not looking for a quick cheesy way to make tons of gold fast, just something that i can enjoy and make enough to keep progressing

i'm level 59, with hunting being my highest at lvl 18, foraging and mining at lvl 10, farming lvl 8 and fishing, bug catching and cooking being very low

so far i've just been hunting elder sernuk for gold and frankly i'm so burnt out from it, my ping is high and i'm bad at shooting them while they're running which leaves me running after them for hours

i don't have much time to play and using that limited time just hunting is making me not want to play at all..

so any tips on what i can do? i saw people suggesting farming a lot so i started leveling it but i only have the basic crops unlocked and i'm not quite sure how to actually make the money off of them?

i'd be completely happy if i made 20-25k in maybe 2-4 hours playtime honestly, it'd let me get the chest upgrades in a couple days along with recipes and crafting licenses etc

any tips are appreciated, sorry for the long message 😭

Okay, so, I was redecorating/moving my house. My crafting stuff (sawmill etc.) got moved to my inventory, or so I thought. And now ALL of my crafting equipment is GONE. Not in my storage, not in my inventory, not somewhere on my plot, just GONE. So, the game just deleted them? And I did not quit the game.

as you see apple jam output is more valueable. one party I attended demanded apple star jam, after a blueberrry batch so i had a set of 387 gold cakes and andother set in 471.....
and since it takes so much TIME to glowworm its nice that its working on a higher output result during that time

I have a question for those who “actively” have several romances at the same time. Does this have any impact on the dialogues with NPCs? Or is each romance perceived separately by the NPC as if it were the only “active” one? Since you can wear 2 pins at the same time, I asked myself whether there could be negative aspects associated with it. I also read the Q&A about it, but didn't really understand it and thought I'd ask if anyone here had experience with it. I now have everyone at the required level and would of course also like to read the romance paths of all the NPCs. But I don't want to offend anyone. That would really stress me out gameplay-wise xD

I have grown both the pepper and corn, I would consider them mid tier crops, there are several others I find more valuable(Blueberries, potatoes, apples, rice, wheat)
No I do not use any type of pickles or jam as food, however I do make a lot of Apple pies so currently I am using those as food, simply because I grow a lot of apples and Wheat, so for me it is a nobrainer to use Apple pies since I am already making many of these, besides a starred Apple pie give 525 points which is pretty good, there may be better options, but apple pies are easy to make and only takes a minute to cook a batch all by myself 🙂

It really is a single player game, that you play with others. The cake parties should have been stopped ages ago. The only thing you need another person for is a big flow tree. The chat and party system is pretty poor for a "MMO" in 2023

rice + potates for exp and money then :3 mix in some cotton if youd like. If you make the new crops do not seed the corn only preserve it or you lose money. Peppers... do that if you want achievements or to cook those dishes but other than that, hands down worst crop award goes to peppers
