Whenever you gain XP, some focus is used. The amount used depends on your focus %. Sometimes it's in visible chunks, sometimes slower. Depends what you are doing. Bar holds more focus if you interact with the Dragon Temple (up to 1000 points, costs 100 Renown each time) and bonus percent increases if you interact with the Phoenix Temple (up to 100% bonus XP, costs 100 Renown each time). Focus bonus is also dependant on focus bar fullness, with max bonus at 80% or more bar, less at 50-80% and less under that, so for maximum boost, keep it topped up.

At this stage there isn't any effect on gameplay based on who you choose. No clue if that will change in the future.

Ashura also likes food in general. It doesn't neccesarily have to be on their weekly list for them to take it. Ainu will take butterflies pretty much anytime, for example. And Hassian likes hunting stuff.

You kind of get to know what they like after a bit. Sometimes those items happen to be on their weekly wants list too.

Honey lure is pretty good, but I tend to always find common bugs with the occasional rare from them, you can find more uncommon on the beach though if you use it in Bahari Bay. Personally I like to use a Buzzy Jar during the day time at the south side of Bahri.

One last personal thing that I find really fun - cicada/bee hunting. They hide on trees, and if you toggle your walk and wear headphones, you can actively zero in on where they're hiding by the buzzing noises they make. Sounds just like cicadas and bees.

the together quests are weird, completed hunter together quest without any other players helping me kill the deer and the last contact i had with a player was a few minutes after we killed a magic sernuk which that kill alone wasn't enough to fulfill the quest

What recipe should I cook the fish using?

When you grill/cook fish, the cooked item's gold value is equivalent to the value of the two fish used. If you grill your fish on a campfire, and they are unstarred, there is a chance the grilled fish result will be upgraded to a star-quality grilled fish, meaning the value is actually increased.

Starred fish do not get this benefit, so grilling them won't get you any extra gold.

The more expensive the bait is, the less you seem to earn using common fishes, I cannot test it yet on rare or higher fishes as I do not have them in hand at the moment but anyways

TLDR if you don't include the price from Zeki and Bait price, turning a fish into Sashimi will provide roughly 48% increase in price

none of the items are Quality items including the finished product and I do not know if this is that useful at all nor is it the best dish to sell for cash that isn't too hard to gather

Some sets you need to buy the initial recipe from Tish and start from there. I'm not 100% but I think there's also a level requirement on some of the sets before they show.

If she gave you the quest to craft industrial items specifically, you should ideally have something in your crafting station. If not, check with Tish, and also check her store's register, just in case. I can't remember which may have it.

It's part of an early questline, I can't remember exactly which because I got it very early on. If I recall correctly, I think Jina asks you to investigate the glowing rune, and then you don't really interact with it again. I've been back to it once or twice since, but not for any real reason.

I could be way off though. There are several temples with glowy bits you get asked to investigate.

Your best bet for quickest is probably either fishing or hunting. Depends on how much you feel like running around, at that point. Farming can get you good money, but it takes planning and time. And if you can get in on a cake party, you can net yourself 40-50k in an hour or so easily enough.

theres a gardening guide spreadsheet and a fertilizer spreadsheet in the pinned messages, but the gardening guide is currently being reworked so the fertilizer boost part is redacted.

the TL:DR, the effect of it stacks so using it once per day during growth stages has a purpose, and someones working on the math for explaining it.

like if it takes 4 days for a plant to grow, you can put down 4 fert when planting, each day when the growth tick hits at 6am it will eat 1 layer of the fertilizer and add that to the % of that boost

It took me a few attempts. To save glow worms you can wait for a fish to bite, see what it is, and then let it swim away. Then just recast your line and repeat. If you just leave the line in I've noticed the same fish will keep coming back. You have to physically recast it. And recasting doesn't use up worms.

but you can check the fish first and don't react and let it swim away. If it's not the fish you want, reel in the rod and you save the worm. if it's the fish or recipe you want, you can just wait for the next bite, it will be exactly the same as before.

Yeah, Sashimi doesn't require any worms and is fished up in Bahari. Sushi requires glow worms and is fished from ponds in Kilima.

You won't gain anything more by feeding your ⭐ cakes into your farms, but you can get a nice stockpile of glow worms from 1 cake. Also - and you'd want to double check the numbers - I think the net return on glowworm+poop is about 150 gold more than the cake.

Higher valued cake seems to get more glow worms.
