Hello, question for a friend. They hit friendship 3 with Einar and wanted to start a romance with him, they gave him a heartdrop lily because on the wiki it says you can give one to start a romance. But the romance didn't unlock for einar. Do you have to use the box of chocolates or does Einar require something special?

So, this probably doesn't help exactly, but I had the same kind of issue when I hit hunting level 10. I didn't get the trophy. It only showed up once I hit hunting 11. I did not get the accomplishment until then either. It sounds similar, but unfortunately... it isn't like there is a next level of bug collection per area, so idk how you might trigger the fix :x but, maybe-- get another accomplishment? or another that grants an item?

You can actually turn it off if you press Enter & click on the S1 for the server chat. This also means your friend can only talk to you through community or whispers, but it at least clears up the clutter if you wish. 🙂

Okay so about the bug accomplishment i did get the item now but the fix was that i needed to go catch a bug any bug just once so i could get the xp and it glitched out probably and i just got the item didin't level up anything just needed to catch a bug ^^

You get more exp if you get perfect catches, and you fish faster in a group. It is best to have focus food on you at all times, but it was slowed down in one of the more recent patches.

If it makes you feel better, this was one of my QoL gripes when we had a survey done. You can always go into your settings and turn back on the tutorials if you wish, but they're not too helpful for in-depth exp gain.

Yeah honestly I have been playing this game since day one of closed beta but I feel like I'm only just starting to learn the game when I made a friend with someone in the server. There was a lot of stuff I didn't really know til now, 1) because the tutorials didn't appear enough for me to remember or 2) they just weren't mentioned at all. I didn't know what the heck renown was or for until like two days ago and I immediately went and spent all my renown.

I have a question. When other players visit your home, they can't take your items, can they? Like harvest from your garden, take things from your forge or sawmill. (I understand they can use them). I had a person in my friend list randomly come to my plot, uninvited, and start mucking about in my garden and in my crafting tents. I helped them out in the past with items, but stopped recently since they started getting demanding for things from me. (I'm not sure if this is the right place, I'm so sorry if its the wrong one. I'll delete it if it is.)

Nope! Editors can pick up rooms and rearrange them, but they can't pick up anything for themselves.

They cannot take your stuff just because they showed up via the blue-board (friendslist or community access only). If you have grilled fish or mushrooms on a campfire, they CAN pick those up, and they'll go into YOUR inventory. Which is annoying lol. But otherwise you are quite safe!

Editors can move furniture, rooms, pick up rooms (which just puts the furniture in your storage), and change window decorations. They can't take anything for themselves.
Anyone can water your crops & cook in your house, though.

Hi! So the first and second ones are always "liked" gifts. The third and fourth relationship wants are "loved gifts". You can only gift one of them each week, but villagers still like items outside of these weekly wants- so you'll never have nothing to give them.

It just takes a little placement fanagling because the system doesn't like Ts or Ls in general. That's why you use the hallway to create half of it and then place it down as a connection- since only that one connection counts as a room (so the second doesn't).

It's a silly rule in the system, and I hope it gets patched soon.

Gosh yeah the dowsing rod is very disappointing lol. All I can say is.... put on some tunes or a podcast, clear your inventory, and just wander the heck outta Bahari north in a nice circuit, you're bound to find at least a few! That's the only way I manage, anyway :x

Actually, yes, there are bonuses like that. At Gardening 25 you always get star crops from star seeds and vice versa. I don't know the other professions breakpoint benefits but they likely exist, in some manner. It doesn't appaer to be documented in the game (but maybe it IS a tutorial popup when you hit that level? I'm not yet)

However. I mean, XP amount aside, it's MUCH easier to just spam copper nodes in Kilima. So that might end up faster. I don't know that anyone has done the math based on the relative spawn frequency of iron vs copper nodes. You'll often run for a minute looking for iron, but copper has so many guarnateed spawn points.... all that to say -- don't miss out on copper!

Many people don't even realize the mines have an upper entrance but yep! So keep climbing up before you go in.

The top level, where you'll go in from the top entrance, there are clues scattered about. Don't jump down, just hunt hunt hunt for clues like the PI you are!

Put the seeds in your inventory.
Use your hoe to till the spaces on the plot (there are 9 spaces per farming plot)
Once your spaces have been tilled, select a seed, point at the space, and click to plant.

Because yesterday I was trying a lot of things regarding tomatoes and harvest boost fertiliser.

I fertilised the first batch. I get 200+ harvest. I fertilise the 2nd harvest, same amount. 3rd harvest, I tried no fertiliser, 200+ as well. Same as 4th.

Then today, I tried putting no fertiliser. It plummeted to 160+.

Therefore, I concluded, it last for lifetime of the plant? Amirite?

Void Ray is an epic, so it's quite a rare fish to fish up. The Butterfly is somewhat rare as well- but I would try buzzy jars or honey lures in locations it spawns in.

So exp doesn't have a visible drop unless you watch your focus bar to see how much it takes, I think. So if you have 100% focus bonus, you'll be getting the base level of exp for whatever exp drop you're doing.

Gazebo is for housing slots! You can obtain these by going to your house and clicking on the H menu. There is a dropdown at the top to purchase more housing slots- you'll have to buy three of these for 50k, 75k, and 100k respectively. Then, after that, you go to the townhall and buy a gazebo blueprint, take it home, then throw resources in to make it.

You can get some starting pieces from Tish, once you level up furniture crafting. Then you can discover recipes as you make new furniture of that set. You can see the different quality of bugs on the overworld. Starred bugs will have white sparkles on (or is it yellow? they're kinda tiny). They'll also have a sparkle sound effect.

So, you can absolutely tell before you catch it what quality the bug is.

Don't do this- it's a waste of money. The tuning fork only shows you the bubble/quality spots. After a little bit in-game, you'll know to just wander water. It's not quite worth it & I don't know if it's been patched, but you couldn't store them for the first two weeks. (I sold mine, so I have no idea if it's still like that).

Okay, I swapped it to my second map and I can explain to you what happens and unfortunately tell you there's no workaround.

When they added the marker as a remap option, they added it as a line of sight marker as opposed to a click & map marker. So you can only "ping" things as markers that you can visibly see if you remap it to a different key.

So, I learned quickly because my middle mouse is set to "enter" instead of mouse click- If you look at the map as north to south, use the top locator bar to find where you need to run (nsew) because the compass in the top right will eventually confuse you

boost-fertilizing your crops gives, say a 20% chance to apply the effect of that boost. you won't know if it stuck until the next day when it says it has the boost or not. if it does not, then apply it again. last day of harvest though, the crop will mature before the boost is applied, so the square will merely save the fertilizer for your next crop. anti-weed fertilizer, as I understand, is 100% for one day/night cycle, that's it, you gotta reapply it (or apply multiple days worth at one time)
